Food was really nice tasted fresh, Coffee was the right temperature. They also catered to my partners allergies very well and had a wide range of milks.

We visited here twice, once for some mighty fine Espresso Martini's and the following morning for breakfast coffee. Both visits were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Took a bag of beans home for good measure.

Only one gluten free option o the whole menu - a coconut flap jack. It’s so disappointing that they don’t cater better for gluten free - plenty of veggie options . Being gluten free is a a medical dietary requirement - we should be better catered for. Please do better

3 staff, no queue and 7 minutes for average coffee and hot chocolate from staff in novelty beanie hats more concerned with laughing and joking with each other than serving a very very bored customer. Maybe they were harvesting their own beans…avoid unless you are a hippy and time is inconsequential. Oh….and all drink-in coffee seems to be served in take-away cups! Toilets were also filthy with urine and loo roll all over the floor. Avoid at all costs - truly the black sheep of coffee houses in Manchester.

Attended at 10am in the morning to find a dirty nappy next to the seat I chose. Put in the bin (which was full) and spoke with the staff - cleanup done on a night and clearly had been skipped. Toilets also dirty, no toilet roll replaced and sanitary waste left outside of the bin. No handsoap in dispenser. Dust gathered everywhere and given above felt really unsanitary. Ordered coffee for a meeting which was good but overall experience of the cleanliness of the site made me never want to return. Staff were very friendly and apologetic but clear cleaning protocols not being followed and no cleanliness checks carried out.

Nice coffee. Rubbish service. Coffee arrived after the waffle was already eaten. The de nata had been forgotten whilst 2 of the 3 staff chatted away. No excuse for poor service with a virtually empty store.

We were exploring the city for the weekend and wanted to try what the coffee shops in Manchester were like. The Norwegian waffles caught my attention when researching the menu online prior to my visit so we decided to make a visit on Saturday morning. At first I wasn’t sure if the cafe was open as no one was in, I was utterly surprised we were the only customers in the shop at 9:30am on a Saturday! The two staff working warmly greeted us as soon as we came through the door and was patient whilst we decided what to order. We went for a mango and ginger smoothie, banana and coffee smoothie, double espresso and a brown cheese and jam waffle. In my books, the items on the menu were a bit more out there than your usual coffee and cake cafe so it was a nice change for sure. I noticed they had draughts on the counter and given the location, perfect to catch the early commuters and the after work pint too. The theme and decor of the cafe was great too, and I noticed plug sockets underneath the tables. The lovely lady working brought us our order to our table and we tucked in. I was super surprised that I liked both my mango and ginger smoothie and the waffle. Brown cheese and jam isn’t a common combination we’re used to but I really enjoyed it. Mango and ginger was a bit risky to me but it was incredibly refreshing. The partner enjoyed his smoothie and espresso too. 10/10 will return if we’re back in town!

Do not go here unless you enjoy being treated like a complete inconvenience by the disinterested and grumpy staff, who make you feel like they are doing you a favour serving you! All 3 staff working today (21/10/21) were miserable and unfriendly! A real shame because if the staff were remotely interested in delivering some kind of customer service the place would have potential.

Ultra cool place to hang with exception java, that magic elixir of life. Post industrial vibe and decor which diverse music of music. Limited food offerings but this place is all about the coffeehouse and that's done with excellence

The rain has started to pour and we found ourselves outside this nice café bar. It quickly made a decision to go inside and we are glad we did. It majors in coffee and that smelt absolutely delicious. However, they have the Camden beers on draft and we were ready for one of those. Prices are average city centre but the bar itself is done out beautifully in a industrial Dragons’ Den style place. The staff were really friendly and it was a nice place to pass half an hour or so.

Visited solo on my day off to relax, ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and salted caramel frappe. Although slightly pricey, both were delicious. Staff were friendly and overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming.

Nice coffee and vegan peanut butter brownie. However cheese, tomato and basil sandwich, and the cookies were old and terrible. Overall nothing special.

I came here yesterday for a hot drink. The staff were helpful. The latte was delicious. There was free WIFI and lots of charging points. A good place to relax for half an hour whilst watching the world go by. I will definitely be back again soon.

Friendly and welcoming little cafe. Lovely coffee, good service, best cakes. We had the banana bread -moist, spiced and topped with nuts and seeds- and an iced lemon polenta cake also delicious.

The service & staff were pleasant. The food was little better than mediocre. The most outstanding aspect of this experience of eating at Greggs, Cherry St Birmigham was the filthy condition. There were straws on the seats. Servietes on the floor and ripped up sugar containers, all littering the floor. The place wasn't that big and would only have taken 3 or 4 minuets to clean. I asked how they can serve people food in such a dirty environment. I was told they were too busy to clean. I said what about the 2 people in the back, that I could clearly see. She siad do you want to go and ask them? I declined. They have got their priorities wrong. Clean first, serve food second, but then I suppose it's all about making money. I certainly won't go back, and nor will I go to another Greggs.

I had the vegan breakfast which exceeded my expectations, although I felt the placement of a spring roll and falafel was quite random. It was the first time I tried tofu and it was extremely nice. Even the toast was spot on! For £6, it was good value for money, especially knowing I could eat everything in the cafe without having to worry. The smoothies were nice too, but were a bit more like juice since they weren’t as thick as a smoothie. I really enjoyed the vibe of the cafe as everyone was so friendly there, it really reminded me of a cafe I used to work at with its chill atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. They’re also on this fantastic app called ‘Too Good To Go’ which gives you the food a place has leftover at the end of the day at a reduced price so that it doesn’t go to waste! Definitely check it out if you want to save food from being wasted, or just fancy a surprise for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Revisited the cafe a couple of times last year. First in Oct where I had a sausage and egg on toast and some tea. Nothing remarkable as the sausage was of the cheap variety. Bought a couple of slices of the fruit cake which looked nice to take away and it wasn't bad! Staff were really nice and there was seating at the back, beyond the store front. Second time was for breakfast after a morning walk. We ordered 2 breakfasts - can't remember which but they were huge! Very impressed when it arrived and the sausages were of much better quality. Very pleased with what we had then but sadly the cafe isn't open as early now so we can't really go before work like we were able to in the past. The cafe has been closed for a while now but hopefully we will be able to visit for brekkie when it reopens.
