Black Sheep Coffee - Jubilee Place in Tower Hamlets

I was formerly reluctant to spend money on takeaway coffee but Black Sheep is a different level. Whenever I go into the office I have to stop here first. The coffee is the best I have tasted and really perks me up and gets me ready for the workday. Efficient service too. The loyalty programme is an added perk.

Yesterday morning stop by for a coffe , while I was drinking just find out my coffe was also containing a piece of metal, almost choking and hurt my tooth really badly…no one even apologised for that…..

Entered by chance and wished we went back more times just to have the best lattes we've ever had! Shame we don't live in London anymore!

After previous good experiences, not so much today. Despite them being busy and having more than enough staff, tables and floors were left dirty and service was painfully slow. The friendly service has gone too. It took a good ten minutes before I got my coffee. The coffee was good. Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. I needed to do some work as were a lot of people. Wifi is fast and there are charging sockets too which is helpful.

Apparently it's company policy for the staff not to wear masks while serving the public food and drink whilst one of the most transmissable viruses is killing people. I didn't notice until my drink was delivered to my table by a waiter coughing. I left my drink and walked out. I wear my mask because it protects your staff and other people from anything I may have.... you obviously don't give a monkeys protecting potential customers

A bit of a mixed experience but overall good and I would come back. Very busy. Lot of staff. I have to say staff were really helpful and friendly. A lot of other coffee shops could learn from this. They do well to serve customers and keep the premises clean. There is seating inside and a few tables outside. Nice selection of cakes, pastries and some savoury items too. I didn't bother to look at the selection of hot drinks or cold drinks as I knew what I wanted. The americano and muffin were good. If you dine in, they will bring the drinks to you so order at the counter and take a seat. The muffin was nice but when I asked for a fork or something to cut it rather than using my fingers, I was told they only had spoons! Strange. Wifi is fast. I would have stayed longer but most of the normal tables were taken, I was sitting on a high seat which started to hurt my back plus my laptop needed a charger!

First time coffee was amazing, came back a second time and coffee was burned. Have a third chance and coffee was nonexistent in the cup. Unfortunately won’t be returning.

Sunday morning after 02 Ball & Boe Concert. Visited Black Sheep Canary Wharf for first visit. Coffee (Americano) was bliss full flavour decent size cup. Two lasses run this Coffee House very helpful ended up buying a bag of Blue Volcano to take home. Will visit again next time I pass by.

The staff told me that picture is for illustration purpose only. And this cost me £5? Seriously? Not worth it at all. Feels like been fooled

Smooth and delicious oat cappuccino. They don’t have enough vegan pastries even in Veganuary, but there are a couple and they’re mouth-watering. Tea is good as well. Pleasant place to work or meet. 10Mbit WiFi, throttles downloads. Lots of power sockets + USB outlets. Too loud for a pleasant chat.

The coffee is below the standard of Starbucks. It would be interesting to see how their 2nd branch at Canary Wharf works Talyor Street which had amazing coffee it's tough act to follow.

The staff are very polite and friendly. The coffee tastes great. It can get very busy during lunchtime in weekdays with long queues but most times there is space to sit. The atmosphere is friendly and it is clean and well maintained.

I went to see the winter lights and on my way went for a coffee to Black Sheep, the coffee was really nicely done and the use a good quality coffee. The customer service was outstanding, the guy who served me was very helpful and nice. I also liked the decoration. If you are looking for something different from Starbucks then give this coffee shop a chance

Ordered peanut butter hot chocolate and it tasted like weak tea! No taste of peanut butter or chocolate plus it came as lukewarm so after finishing my apple cake (which was good) the so called hot chocolate was COLD. Plus they switched the waffle machine off 2 hours before their closing time so couldn’t get a waffle. It appeared to us they don’t value customers so wont be coming here to spend my money, plenty more coffee places around there.

I was recommended this place and for the quality of coffee it didn’t disappoint . I ordered a flat white which was brought to my table . Well served and at the right temperature . The actual venue feels a bit of a chain but the coffee is good for the money !

Not bad coffee but was cold and served by rude waitress and the music was very very loud... and not cheap... i will not repeat again... waste of money...

Just got back from ordering 2 Peanut Butter Hot Chocolates for a takeout and by the time I had tasted it I would've just called it a 'Luke Warm Chocolate'. Almost like it was made hot enough for kids to enjoy and there was certainly...

Black sheep coffee is the best coffee shop in this area. A perfect place to sit down and have a chat or do some work.

I grabbed a cheeky coffee when going into london to do some photography got friend request that I’d checked out black sheep coffee out The coffee was pretty good enjoyed it, has some nice favours and beans wasn’t burnt what a goos sign. Only down...

The slowest, most inefficient service. Coffees and especially hot chocolates often too cold- orders almost always incorrect and stupidly overpriced. Been in a few times so given it a chance but it’s really not worth it.

Really nice quirky little coffee shop. The only issue is there are not many alternative milks so if you struggle with dairy it can be an issue, but the coffee itself is nice enough to drink black.
