Black Sheep Coffee in Oxford

The food is very nice, both for a quick coffee and a longer meal. The service is very nice, especially the waitress Abbi. She was very kind and had a natural way of talking to customers to make them feel at home. I'm definitely coming back!

I was served by Abi, who was really friendly, attentive, and keen to help. She made the experience feel personal, which is always appreciated. I took my drink and grabbed a seat by the window to watch the world go by. If you’re looking for a place with great coffee and front-row views of Oxford’s city buzz, this is a solid choice.

I love this place as I come here to work on my tasks.Its always relaxing to be here and the details of the cafe are great.I really appreciate the baristas too as they always make great drinks, I recommend the strawberry matcha especially!

Lovely food and great atmosphere!

Very good coffee but the place feels like it needs a scrub - I get the look is grunge, but it also feels worn and a bit neglected. Always busy and service is efficient but I don’t love these kiosks - used to them in other venues but these are tricky for multiple orders - staff were happy to take my order over the counter.

Good vibe. I ordered the acai bowl, which was okay. Black Sheep are always dog friendly, which is great.

Service is fast. The blend of coffe they use is just right for my taste. I had a nice iced oat latte and the coffe is delicious. I am very particular about my coffee, i do not like the horrible.burnt taste that can ruin your drinks. There is non of that here. I have visited multiple black sheep coffee houses across the uk. They are always a great place to be, cozy atmosphere, beautiful decorative art painted onto the walls and clean.

Very poor experience. Ordering on the screen was not easy. Not clear. Waiting was annoying - not being able to connect with the process. On my ‘pick up’ of three items, I asked for a try (which I would obviously need). “There behind you” said my barista. Final issue was the toilets had a code. I did not know until I came to use them and needed to go and get it. Why not give with the order. The customer experience is woeful but very convenient for the vendor. I had not used Black Sheep before and will actively avoid in the future.

A great place to go for a quick coffee, a first date or even get some work done. The coffee is great and the staff are better, especially Dom, he’s amazing!

There is not much matcha in the matcha drinks. One can taste only the milk.

A Hidden Gem for Tea Lovers and Great Service! I popped into Black Sheep Coffee during a rainy Oxford afternoon, and it was the perfect cozy escape. While they’re known for their coffee, I was delighted to find a fantastic tea selection as well — perfectly brewed and served just right. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great experience. I had a matcha blend , and they even offered a recommendation for a sweet treat to go with it (highly recommend the banana bread!). The space has a great vibe — modern but still comfortable — perfect for a chat, a bit of reading, or just taking a pause. Whether you are after a serious caffeine fix or a quiet tea moment, Black Sheep is one of Oxford’s best little spots. Can’t wait to return!

I just hated this place. Coffee in a paper cup. Soulless screen to order your coffee. Tables were dirty. Over £4 for a basic coffee, overpriced. Toilets were on a code. Just felt like an expensive McDonalds. It has the same atmosphere as the moon.

£22 for this menu? I think the prices are overpriced. Or maybe I’m just poor… I need to think about it.

Love the staff! They get to know you and always prepare my order very carefully. The negative is the vibe of the place is so soulless, with nondescript leather couches and bland wooden tables. Fire your interior designer. I always do takeaway as the staff is so nice. I’m coming for them and the drink quality.

Ojalá hubiéramos ido a otro lugar después del pedido. Muchos estudiantes no compran comida o bebida, pero usan mesas para computadoras portátiles, de hecho un estudiante entró con su Macdonald y comió en la mesa. 3 artículos que pedí en pantalla no estaban disponibles en el mostrador . no hay sustituto apropiado. reembolso no ofrecido. Los cafés eran horribles. no podía beber. El baño de arriba estaba sucio. no estoy seguro de cuándo la señora limpia, pero el personal debe mantener los baños limpios. no se apresurará BK como parece solo una gota en el centro.

It’s nice and quiet especially downstairs, the drinks (especially matcha) are good and the bagels are js 🤌🤌🤌 (They offered me free waffles for this lol)

This coffee shop is great for takeaway, as the service is quite fast. You can place your order at the self-service screen and simply wait for your drink. I ordered a mocha, it wasn’t very rich, but it was a decent coffee for a quick pick-me-up during the day!

Matcha is very good, as are the smoothie bowls! Lots of places to sit and it’s super easy to order through the iPad. The only flaw is their wifi is awful, doesn’t connect at all. Eduroam doesn’t work and neither does your data. Hence not the greatest study spot.

My latte had no discernible coffee flavour whatsoever. I won't go again.

Warm and cosy place, smells great, and has a chill vibe. Loved the art on the walls! I enjoyed their new Biscoff waffle—you can’t go wrong with Biscoff! The waffle was warm and had a crunchy exterior, but was chewy and gooey with Biscoff on the inside. Yum!

Parece atractivo desde fuera pero no te dejes engañar. Algunas personas allí (las 10 am) parecían haber estado durmiendo a la intemperie toda la noche. Acurrucado en abrigos, bostezando constantemente, 1 se tendió en un sofá en la entrada sin zapatos y sin comida o bebida frente a él. 1 pedazo de tocino graso en el rollo. Completamente diferente a la imagen de la tableta. Tabletas para pedir, así que debería haber ido a McDonalds en su lugar para un mejor tocino. Trqys demasiado pequeño, así que tuve que hacer 2 viajes arriba y abajo de escaleras. Se lo dije al miembro del personal pero no ofrecí ayuda. Tenga en cuenta que la dirección no ha respondido a ninguna revisión que lo resume. ¡No les importa! En 1 buen punto el café era agradable, caliente y un tamaño decente.

Very tasty coffee and excellent location in the city center! A great place to meet and chat or work or study. Beautiful view of Carfax Tower and spacious ground floor and basement. Staff are all super nice and make delicious coffee :)

The only thing I didn’t like was the digital ordering which was confusing to this first-time user.
