dry chicken with no coating, not the best fries. Disappointed and definitely not worth the money

Sorry guys that was horrendous, burgers were freezing and curly fries were rock hard and stuck together, I have serious concerns about the preparation of your food, needless to say i won’t be back, £28 wasted I have never seen poorer food for the money

What happened to you black rooster? Soggy undercooked sweet potato fries and dry chicken on top of microwave rice. absolute disappointment from the first bite. Reflect and do better

Shop has changed went down hill

They wouldn’t allow students to sit in and one of the workers are so rude and I pay money for me to get kicked out just because I’m a student!!

Driver went to the wrong house

Usually love it but the wings today were tiny!! Which was disappointing

The chips were cold I didn’t receive the drink because it had spilled in transport soaked the bag bag which made the chicken burger soggy and I ended up with a sore stomach not normal because I get the same order but this time was very poor

First timing visiting here. Was decent. Food was good and I can't complain about it. Was very busy so took a while as it was Friday lunch time. Would visit again.

Placed my order however received phone call soon after to explain the main item I wanted had ran out. Chose an alternative. Order arrived to which the order was wrong and also missing my drink. Honestly awful. Called shop 8x times, finally got through. Wasn’t satisfied with how the person at the shop handled the call. Left with wrong order, missing juice and out of pocket!

Order says delivered but it never arrived which means driver has probably just not delivered it. Shocking

Got delivered on time but ordered 2 meals with drink and only got 1 drink happened a few times not happy

Water was missing from order, portions really small for money - didn’t feel it was good value for money

£30 for the tiniest potions. Not worth the money at all.

Order never came, said it was delivered then when contacted the ship they say they can’t do anything about it and to reorder?!

My delivery did not arrive although stated that had been delivered. Phoned the restaurant & they advised me to make a complaint to just eat however that this has been occurred a few times within the last few days - restaurant said that there was nothing they could do & that it was from my part to complain

very small burrito with hardly any fillings.. soggy onion rings.. value for money is very poor.

Half the irn bru had spilled out , no straw, no drink holder, no sauce that was ordered. Overall poor

After two visits recently, waiting time was ridiculous. staff not got a clue what they’re doing and don’t care about good customer service if I’m honest. Won’t be back🫣

Chicken is very good I had double breast burger

bag was not packaged properly and all the food fell out at the door the delivery guy is not at fault but disappointed and left without half the order

Driver was nice enough, but bag burst on delivery. Spilling and damaging our food. Juice was spilled.

We have always ordered from black roaster great western so we are very aware of the great food they make, however we ordered black roaster govan tonight as we have moved and they gave us over boiled chicken dipped or rather swimming in sauce, absolutely no sign of it even spending a minute on the grill …. Very disappointed.

The quality wasn’t as good as last time not happy with the delivery driver either forgot my drink left it in his car down stairs said he would go down to get it and never came back up so im too happy with that service

It’s concerning how many orders never arrive from the reviews. Looks like the driver hasn’t shown up with mine. Not the shops fault but either get your own drivers or don’t offer deliveries when it’s not reliable.

Love the food here, we order regularly cause its so tasty! I'm obsessed with the curly fries and the burgers are great too. Also, one of few places who sell fizzy Vimto :)

Thank you to all who made my meal. Fair amount of chicken in quesadilla flavoured nice. Sweet potato chips a wee bit crispy for me but they were still nice. Corn on the cob can’t go wrong. Thank you I appreciate you 🙌

Asked for plain no mayo and it came with a sauce that was hot and there was no chips when I asked for a meal deal and it was on the receipt. Will not use them again

Tasty food and friendly staff, OK value for money

My food was half an hour late and the delivery man proceeded to claim I wasted his time as I live in a “complicated area”. My drink had spilt and my food was cold lucky I could heat the chips and side up but my rice in the burrito had gone dry by the time it was delivered.

Delivery was fine but food arrived cold and had to ding it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Driver didn't give me my order, restaurant didn't know who the driver was, or able to contact them so yeah 30 quid down the shoot and no money to even reorder, little help from the restaurant. Won't order again

Food came soggy, bag had burst due to the juices leaking, when the bag burst the driver apologised and ate what had fell out, our drinks were also half full, tried to put in a complaint and need to have photo evidence but i’m sorry the first thing i did was remove items from packaging not leave it to get even more soggy just to take a picture

Ordered bbq rice box meal and it was even spicier than the hot one we had ordered so the person couldn’t eat the meal as they don’t like overly spicy food hence why ordered bbq. when arrived it was freezing and so late that my little girl was in bed so the kids meal has went to waste.

Very disappointed in the quality of chicken. Have ordered before from Black Rooster and the chicken is usually very succulent however this time, chicken strips were very over cooked and rubbery tasting.

Would recommend if anyone was to order the burrito to order 2 as it comes as if its a meal for a child

All food was lovley but the chocolate cake was rock solid and it was £4.40! Tried to heat in the microwave to soften but just terrible

Food was amazing. They ran out of wings which I ordered 5 but they couldnt get a hold of me so left me note saying they have gave me 10 strips instead which was very kind. Was delish and alot of food for the money! Thank you x

Waited 20 minutes for just fries when it wasn't even that busy. In the end seems like they forgot, and just handed me over cold fries.

Paneer always out of stock but sometimes available to order for delivery. If products aren’t available, they should be taken off.

Wrap came with salsa which I don't like, phoned the restaurant and they asked me to give them bank details to transfer money? Don't see how counter staff are able to do that. Werent able to use their own driver to deliver correct meal. Used to love black rooster but the service is fkn shocking.

Halloumi burger photos are false advertising. Burger isn’t a slice of halloumi it’s like cheap halloumi breaded fingers for £8.

driver issue!!! but staff sorted it and we collected it and it was still yummy and relatively warm and enjoyable :) just eat needs to sort the issues w drivers

The driver clearly did not know where he was going and drove round in circles despite clear instructions on the phone of landmarks to look for and where he would be met. Then instead of waiting for us to collect it he left it with a stranger at the front door. Anything could've happened to our food and i am extremely disappointed with the service received.
