Bella Italia - Glasgow Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow City

The service was exceptional. We had a wonderful server named Ana. She did the utmost to make us feel welcome and valued as patrons. She was warm and vivacious. Attention and every effort was made to accomodate us. Ana is truly a credit to your brand. Also many thanks are owed to Philip and Vaiga. We fully intend to return to the branch very soon.

The food was lovely. The girl who served us was very helpful and chatty.

Night out for dinner with my 2 Granddaughters & we enjoyed a lovely meal & great choice of GF food for the 3 of us + waitress who served us during our visit was very helpful & polite.

Wow, in Glasgow for a day trip to the Christmas Market, which unfortunately was nothing special. However to get out of the rain we came here and the greeting was wonderful, atmosphere was upbeat and meals were delicious as were the drinks. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will return on another visit 😋❤️

The food was stone cold, ordered a carbonara counted 3 small pieces of pancetta and nothing else but dry white pasta no sauce or garlic, the pizza was stone cold and the mozzarella sticks also the same. Got a dessert bundle for 2 and even that was like mush both dishes. £32 pounds wasted most of the food went in bin.

Multiple missing items, food cold & really disappointing - carbonara was tasteless - pizza & pasta from spicy sausage pasta bland - we had to go somewhere else - don't often review either way - but it was bad. Scunnered

I think it's ridiculous to put half-dead lettuce leaves inside a hamburger, they ruin it completely. I had to open it and remove them. Also, the meat was too spicy. The only good thing was the sweet potato fries.

Food ok, I noticed a multi story car park nearby as when you get the bill it’s within walking distance to go to the top and throw yourself off , I’ve paid less in 5 star restaurants, I realise times are tough but cmon don't hide the prices in light font as you do , your staff are a credit to hospitality trade even asking about allergies on entry but your prices are suicidal.

My order was ready around the time I was quoted. The food was a good temperature and it tasted nice. I also got 40% which made it even better value.

Main meal didn’t arrive, ordered on the 12/11/24. Pizza cost £15, restaurant didn’t answer phone. Disappointed.

Taste is really awful and it’s not even close to real carbonara I really can’t eat it and there’s not any napkins no any fork nothing it’s really shameful never ever recommend to anyone else

The service was excellent but the food was so underwhelming. I got a plate of tomato pasta with a drizzle of sauce, the bolognaise was the same, very bland. Definitely doesn’t reflect the price. We also ordered fries that came in a tiny little dish, they tasted great but for the price the portion size was ridiculous. I feel there wasn’t much effort with the sauces.

Not my first visit here. This time it was even better than the last and again it was fantastic.

Place was freezing, our server Phillip wasn't great. Took 1hour for mains to arrive. Never checked on us and the food was cold.

Fantastic experience from the start. Staff all friendly and ready to serve with a smile. Food as you would expect from a Bella Italia, but the service really leaves you wanting to come back.

We were in Glasgow for a night at the theatre and had a meal at Bella Italia. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant & it's well laid out. The food is amazing! The bruschetta with added mozzarella is to die for! We eat here regularly and we have never had a bad meal. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was amazing and it was just enough. Other members of my party had lasagne, risotto and spaghetti bolognese....all the dishes were outstanding and we had room for desert too! A very special shout out to Saskia who served us. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her and she added to our enjoyment of our visit. Thank you!

Had a great late lunch here after a long day of travel. Malina (our server) took care of us - she is an excellent server who is fast, efficient, friendly and kind. Food was excellent and a nice relaxing atmosphere right off busy Buchanan.

We stopped by on a whim here, just cuz we really wanted pizza and boy were we happy. We got a simple Margarita, but it was SO good. I don't know what they do with their sauce but it was delicious! We also had a tiramisu for dessert, which was also delicious! Would definitely recommend this place for pizza!

Ordered a takeaway. Pick was 5.15. As we arrived, they were boxing it up. Our hotel was according to Google 50 yards. Went straight back to our room. The pizza was cold. It's the worst pizza we have ever eaten.

I’ve had several good visits to this restaurant and can recommend it for lunch or dinner. The food is good and the service is excellent, especially Malina, who was very attentive and helpful.

Awful experience. No customers but unable to seat as expected a rush in an hour due to theatre shows. Never experienced in any city restaurant before and will never grace a Bella Italia. Doesn’t deserve custome

Maline and her colleague ( whose name, sadly I've forgotten) gave us fantastic Service. It was a real pleasure to be served by her. She is incredibly upbeat and energised. The food was fine, but not as exceptional as it can be sometimes.

Communication is not so great, unfortunately. They asked if we wanted extras but were not advised of any additional costs to be charged. The kid's menu shows drinks are free but again not highlighted which ones are free. Be careful of this when going with kids.

The restaurant is dismal in terms of ventilation and lighting Secondly, the workers are not friendly at all, except for one who can smile and treat her rather well. Thirdly, we ordered a margherita pizza and the other was pepperoni, and we did not notice that it was pork until we went to another restaurant the next day. I thank the worker who explained to us that all types of pepperoni and mortadella are pork in all restaurants. . I do not recommend it at all, perhaps in other branches, but not this branch at all. I hope the official will contact me.

Is it bad? No. Is it good? Not particularly. Some bits are nice and others not so. Beer served was closer to warm than cold. Food is ok but clearly corners being cut. An 'Italian restaurant' that serves you Smorgasbord meatballs from the supermarket tells you all you need to know. It's a bit run down and appears to be a focus on takeaway orders rather than seated customers.

Great food but horrendous service. Ignored for about 25 minutes until we eventually managed to stop someone who looked annoyed to get the bill. Don't waste your time.

Food is delicious, the mozzarella sticks are the best!! It's a shame they have horrendous customer service. After more than 10 minutes waiting to order a dessert and 5 minutes waiving the waiter, we gave up and went to the toilet, which was also appalling. No toilet paper and one of the cubicles looked like a battlefield.

I don't normally leave reviews, however on this occasion I feel it absolutely necessary based on the delightful and very attentive service we received from server Saskia! She made our dining experience extremely pleasurable, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met! I left the restaurant with a smile + a good feeling for the rest of my day! Thank you SO much saskia!

Our server, Saskia, was extremely polite and welcoming, whatever they're paying her it should be doubled. The food is always good and it's such a welcoming environment. Would always recommend for anyone looking for a wee meal in Glasgow city centre.
