The paella is excellent. The price is on the higher side compared to other market offerings. Portion sizes can vary significantly (even though they sometimes weigh the boxes before handing over).

Best paella that I've find in UK. I've eat paella across the world,and this one is the best in UK you can find. I highly recommend this if you want an excellent food

Reduced Seafood The seafood was much less than I remember. But still, it's a gluten free option that is rare in the Cambridge town centre. Genuinely hope that this old history street food counter will return to its previous quality and quantity......

Just had mixed Paella on Cambridge market, for 9 pounds, recived 1 shrimp, 1 slice of calamari and one bite size piece of chicken, thats a scam

The food was ok, with the exception of some chewy vegetable that couldn't be eaten, like chewing gum and the pigeons didn't want either. I also noticed that the prawns were kept at the edge of the pan, so I didn't order the seafood one. Portions aren't great relative to the price. Wouldn't return.

Best paella in Cambridge! Sooo good, all their variations are on point! Not to mention, they were lifesavers back in during the lockdowns! Provided delivery of their amazing dishes!

It used to be a nice place to get paella but yesterday we paid £9 for paella with fish and there was no fish, literally just one squid ring! The vegan paella was £7 and there was no veggies at all!! Completely a rip off

I bought paella a few times from this place and it has always been very good. Today I got the seafood paella which was supposed to have prawns, squid and mussels. I paid £9 and only got a big portion of rice with 2 tiny squid rings, 0 prawns, 0 mussels..and I could see some massive prawns on the side of the pan that the guy purposely didn’t add. needless to say I won’t be coming back!

They must have adapted to the feedback. Every bite of the seafood paella had seafood

Too much of salt in paella , so much so we couldn't finish it. Not good when you pay £9

I liked the paellla a lot. Bought the sea paella and it was delicious. The person who served the food was also really friendly. I will really recommend the Paela from Black rice valencia traditional in Cambridge market square

My £8 seafood paella got 1 prawn, 1 squid ring. If they continue serving like this no one will buy from their place anymore.

My £8 seafood paella had 2 squid rings, 1 prawn, 0 mussels.

Disappointing - huge portion of rice ONLY! Ordered seafood but got 4 rings of squid and 2 mussels, 0 shrimps (she literally was avoiding putting them in the container). ALL WHAT YOU GET IS JUST RICE!!!! FOR £8!

I got seafood paella which, according to the sign, is supposed to contain prawns, mussels and squid. Mine only had a single tiny squid ring (less than 1 inch in diameter). When I complained the guy working there reluctantly gave me an extra prawn (despite the fact there was a big pile of prawns on a side of the pan) which he put next to the edge of the box so it fell immediately. I feel that £7 for no seafood apart from a tiny squid ring is ridiculous.

One of the best dishes I've ever had in my entire life. And the portion is large and reasonably priced 😋

Paella is amazing here! The price is very good for a big portion. It became a tradition for us to have paella every Saturday. If you visit Cambridge, you should definitely try.
