Top club in Liverpool city centre

On Halloween night they were giving out cards for free shots so I decided to check it out. Bouncer was a bit wary asking where my mates were, but I’ve only just moved here so I was out solo. He was understanding and let me in anyway. Atmosphere was much better here than some other clubs/bars at the same time. Service took quite a while, but I’m not surprised with how elaborate the drinks are and how huge their menu is. Credit to the bar staff, but they could do with a couple extra as it took about 4-5 minutes to serve me just a single cocktail. Tasted fantastic though. Really great dedicated dance floor next to the DJ set, and the overall layout of the bar was well-designed with some quieter parts and a U-shaped bar to keep people spread out. Would definitely head there again, especially if you’re waiting for a club to open or fill up.

Honestly the place to be if you’re going mid-week! Shot deals are incredible and super strong. £3.75 double spirit and mixer deal was amazing too. You won’t find 6 baby Guinness for £6 anywhere else ! Tunes were good, loved the fact they had random trivia on the screens as that kept us entertained. Bar staff on Thursday were so lovely and bantery. Would definitely recommend as a place to go for pre-drinks !!

Yasiné is the best server I've ever had! Really seemed like he knew and cared about me and he gave me a free tap water when he felt I had enough alcohol 💯

Unless Yoh want the bouncer to ban you for pushing you down I would suggest you go. The black bouncers are unprofessional and inconsiderate I wouldn’t rate this place 5 stars in my dreams

The bouncers at this club are absolutely disgusting 6 of them on one lad after he was already on the floor still attacking him and as they was the walking off the bouncers was still shouting stuff at them antagonising them looking for more drama. It does not take 6 fully grown men on one young lad punching him in the head after he was on the floor absolutely disgusting to watch. Bouncers overusing there power once again.

Very aggressive door staff , wouldn't let me in to see my staff inside, got shoved away by second doorman who came out looking for a fight . Not impressed 😡

The shots served here are super sweet! 6 for £9 is also a bargain, especially by Liverpool standards.

Took a while to get busy despite it being a bank holiday Sunday. Cool venue though and we did stay because it was good music.

Honestly one of the worst bars in Liverpool. Management are lazy, or constantly chatting among themselves rather than managing conflicts or issues arising at the bar and making sure orders arrive in a timely manner. Supervisors are incredibly arrogant, often spending more time on the bar preening themselves and flirting with customers than doing any actual service. The only good thing about this bar are it’s floor staff — they’re incredibly hard working despite the despicable state of the bar’s management. Do not visit

Great place for anyone who loves R'n'B and hip-hop music.

Tbh I don't really go town much anymore but was recently there due to a friends birthday and I must say I know I'm not exactly young anymore but black rabbit and most of concert square was just under 20's that looked 15 to 16 years of age. If you want a better experience as someone over 20 then Mathew Street is the place to go. Also I spent over £16 on 2 cocktails as the 2 for £8 deal wasn't available anymore but was still advertised, thanks bartender for letting me know. Onky good thing is there shot prices.

We went last night 13th of May was about 2am in the morning, we was in Liverpool because of Eurovision, we were 3 guys we try to get in and the security ask for ID after he checked them they told us you guys can’t get in because you are Albania and we don’t let Albanias in. I was very angry because I thought Liverpool was a multicultural city. We try other places as well and they were very nice with us. I think the Black Rabbit is a Racist club avoid it.

Free entry, drinks a bit expensive and can seem a bit dead but I liked the atmosphere and the music, would go again

Not very busy but the drinks are probably the best price you'll find in liverpool

I was abused by a member of staff

Asked for £1 shots charged us £16 for 4 shots when I asked for 4 of the £1 shots! Absolute scam just to get customers in. Never go there

Used to enjoy going in here but on the last visit the bar tender was really rude. Ended up leaving due to the negative atmosphere and haven’t been back since.

I like the place, the vast majority of the staff are friendly. Except the girl in the picture below and another one that I couldn't spot on the camera who were very unfriendly and in some ways racists. My story is, I was at the end of the bar waiting patiently to be served with a friend, after 30mins I noticed that she was serving everyone on the other side of the bar, even though they came to bar after me. So I decided to move to the other end and she ignored me again. My m8 tried it as well and she ignored him too. I ask to the other girl and she was nastier, she said "You are not going to be served" which I ask "why?". One of the bouncer approached me because he thought that I was drunk, I was literally going to order my first pint of the night. I told him look I am not drunk m8, he laugh. I spoke with the Manager and he was very kind, he realised I was not drunk. I like the place, but some of the staff need to learn how to deal with an "Under Pressure Atmosphere" and be kind with the customers. I was served in the end, and gave her a generous tip, she need to learn about customers service skills. If some of you go there please avoid that girl!

Split on whether it's gonna be a good night or not with this one. Can play some bangers but often will play absolute rubbish. It's so-so

A rather mediocre Bar with 1£ Shots which is a fair price for the amount of sugar.

Excellent selection of shots at all prices. Combinations of drinks that you would not see elsewhere. Starting at 1 pound there is shots to suit everybody.

Καλή μουσική, πολύς κόσμος κ καθημερινή, μάλλον για τα δωρεάν σφηνάκια που δίνει, αλλά προσοχή στα ποτά, τουλάχιστον στο gin n tonic στο δεύτερο π πήρα ήταν σαν νερό με tonic κ ήταν σε όλους αυτό, όλο το βράδυ όπου έβλεπα gin tonic οπουδήποτε στο μαγαζί ήταν έτσι. Αν παραπονεθείς βέβαια, το δοκιμάζουν κ στο αλλάζουν με κανονικό. Έγινε κ τις 2 φορές π πήγα

If you come to Liverpool you should visit this bar and get the R.I.P. shot. Nice music, free entry. We have been going there almost every month for the past 2 years.

Fun bar. We went here on a Thursday and, how do I put this? We weren't the regular demographic. In short the place is packed with teenagers. As a result they were probably asking themself who's dad's we are. After a while one of the bouncers noticed this and kindly suggested another bar, however we were welcome to stay. He handled this with absolute class. Anyway, the staff is friendly, but not used to big orders. Shots are cheap, but don't order the brain hemorrhage. It's disgusting.

Great bar/club for a night out, they mainly play RnB/hip hop music with some chart stuff thrown in, the shots are interesting and varied and some of them are £6 for 6 which means you usually end up buying 12! Good atmosphere would recommend!

Decent bar with good music. Cocktails are good and well priced when on the 2-4-1 deals. My bank balance probably doesn't agree but I do like this bar.

Someone stole my coat there and the security and other staff were no help at all. Place was overly crowded. Music was boring.

Staff are rude. More than rude actually, it's almost offensive in the way they throw your drink at you. For the owners - no attempt at an upsell, didn't seem interested, drinking your stock. As someone who knows the industry you're losing 500 quid a night through mismanagement. Good luck

I couldn't tell you what the bar is like as i didn't get pass the door. The bouncers are rude, they refused to let me and my boyfriend in on the grounds that he was too drunk this was the first bar we had been to after going for a glass of wine and a meal, so far off being drunk. As we was waiting to go in a girl who looked pretty drunk fell over as she was going in and was still aloud to enter the club but that was proberbly because she was wearing a revealing outfit. I think the bar would make alot more money if the bouncers wasn't so rude.

R&B / Hip-Hop / Chart music, with a good mix of seating space and dancefloor. Safe to say I like it.

Used to be 5 star but change of management and new bouncers have set this place downhill. Also a change of dj has had an effect

If I could give this less stars I would was refused entry and had my id taken off me and told I was under age and told to show the bouncers my privet Facebook page when I refused to show them they refused to return my id it's safe to say am not amused and have had my night ruined

My sister and her friends attended this club last week for a 21st Birthday and the bouncers done nothing but abuse my friends all night calling them Whales, Slags, Foriengers even though that they are from Northern Ireland.... (APART OF THE UK!!!) absolute twats.

If I could have give zero I would have done, What a joke.... they try to fob you off with cheap imitation drinks and then kick you out when you pull them up on it... avoid at all costs.
