I’ve been going to this cafe for years and it has gone down hill in the past six months to the point I wouldn’t be going again. First off the place is lovely and the staff are very friendly and nice overall it has a great atmosphere but….,, The actual food and coffee is now awful, I have no idea what training has been given to the staff but there’s just not very good. I had the toast and jam a few weeks back and it was burned in the toaster , and was obviously the end of the loaf so basically I paid a huge amount for a crouton And the coffee oh where to begin…..I’ve had it cold….burned…..lost in transit to my table (45min wait) and the amount of foam has steadily increased compared to actual drink , in fact my last coffee was actually 50% foam (that’s not an exaggeration I checked , as this is an expensive cafe the actual product isn’t worth it and I’m sad to say you should go somewhere else very sad for what was an amazing little cafe

Very nice brunch, but mostly 2 very friendly guys at the counter! We took the ultimate breakfast and the salmon on toast and both were delicious!

Friendly service but very very very expensive for what you get. Wouldn’t revisit as would get better value elsewhere..

A very small and cosy coffee shop with incredibly friendly staff who were very easy to interact with and have conversation which was nice, they were attentive and made sure everything was ok. My husband and I went for filter coffee each which was very good, it had a Smokey sweetness that was unexpected but lovely. I decided to go for ‘The Ultimate Breakfast’, consisting of avocado on toast, fried egg, crisp bacon and Himalayan pink rock salt and my husband had the ‘Blueberry Pancakes’ - all very delicious and made with great quality produce but the portions were rather small and the blueberry pancakes had more banana than blueberry, but tasty all the same. For the portion size the price is rather high so we would happily return for coffee and buy the packets they sell for at home too, which is great, but probably wouldn’t order food again.

Our daughter had been here before and suggested it. A bit of a hike, 30 min, from our place in earl's Court. Not a big place with limited inside and outside seating. They range of foods is snacks and light items. The coffee was as good as my daughter, who is a snob for coffee, said. Staff friendly

Four of us went for breakfast after staying in a hotel down the road. We all had small cases and as the cafe has a minimal amount of space we had to move a few chairs around before we could sit at a very small table. The staff stood and watched us struggle and offered no help. Eventually one of them came to us and said they weren’t serving food, only coffee! Thankfully we found a much better place 5 mins away.

My daughter who is a blood hound for finding good coffee recommended this place. She was right. Excellent coffee with a nice selection of cakes, slices and snacks. It's winter and the shop was warm and dry and we sat inside but some brave souls did sit outside. Like many speciality coffee places they also sell products.

I arrived at 2.30 as the brunch menu is advertised from 8.30-3pm but all the staff were willing to offer were panini and sandwiches l, very disappointed after specifically making the trip for brunch, just happy I didn't bring company. Coffee is okay to be fair.

The service was awful, the man behind the counter clearly didn’t want to be at work!!! Miserable and rude- because of his attitude I cancelled my breakfast order. I’ll take my money elsewhere and suggest others do the same.

Ordered a couple of coffees. The girl serving was just miserable. Lovely coffee though. Good manners and a smile cost nothing.

The coffee at black rabbit is the best coffee in London. I live locally and come here often and it really is delicious from the coffee to the sándwiches! BUT the customer service is really lacking. The blonde barista with short hair can be quite rude and often acts like placing an order is a total inconvenience. Quality products are really important and on that front they get 5 stars but the poor treatment of regular customers brings the rating down significantly. This place is almost perfect but if you make customers feel uncomfortable walking through the door it really puts a damper on the experience. Side note: it wasn’t always like this, the customer service used to be really warm and lovely and we enjoyed coming for a chat but that is no longer the case.

Very basic and small coffee place, staff definitely need to be more friendly and Barista should say a simple thank you when handing you your miniature Cappuccino (how do they get away with serving the smallest £2.80 drink I’ve ever had!!!) I think they are trying to use a pretentious attitude to make you feel you are honoured to be using their establishment. Wise up guys, places like this are springing up on every corner and you need to be on your game and serve a proper size coffee with a smile if you want to keep yourselves in business. I for one will not be back, sorry, I need more from my coffee than 2 gulps and it’s gone!!!

I travelled all the way just to try this coffee shop.. absolutely worth it!! I had a black filter coffee recommended by the barista, it was super delicious. I also had one of the best Pastrami panino I ever had. Nice vibe and great music. I would highly recommend it and I will go back soon!

DO NOT order “white mushroom matcha” — not only it doesn’t taste like matcha, it tastes like mushroom soup sewer water with the solidified fat particles (you can see clearly on the picture). Yuck. £6.50 thrown away to a trash bin.

5 out 5 would be best ever. This was great but not best ever. Would definitely return for more deserts when nearby. Visited recently and service was friendly and fast. Purchased a brownie and whoopie pie. Deserts were yummy and very happy with our purchase. Wouldn’t travel just for these but if I’m in the area would be happy to try other things.

Nice coffee/nice pastries & cakes, London prices, of course. Well designed shop, comfortable seating etc. Space to use a laptop in (relative) privacy if you need that.

I love Notting Hill Gate, but unfortunately, the manager of Pret A Manger is very unprofessional and disrespectful. I have had more than three arguments with him. Unfortunately, he has very poor communication skills and does not behave in a professional and respectful manner. His attitude towards customers is problematic. I do not recommend anyone to have coffee there, as he creates problems rather than resolving them.
