Huge portion size. Generous with cheese. Was super happy with our food. Only thing I would have changed if the nachos toppings were layered rather than separated so I get all the toppings on 1 chip.

Had the vegan breakfast box while staying at Torvean campsite! It was delicious and great value for money compared to what you get elsewhere. The coffee was also fantastic. And the lady who served us was lovely. Would highly recommend 👍🏼🌱🐾

Dunno why the other reviews are banging on about opening times, my wife and I got there for lunchtime and no issues. Food was prepared promptly and was excellent. Initially you may balk at the price for 'a mere food truck' but the quality of their output more than justifies the cost. We had the nachos and a club sandwich and both were tasty and generously portioned, perfect fuel to begin a long drive south. If you sit at the picnic tables next to the canal, keep an eye on the greedy gulls! If I were local I'd definitely go back. Recommended.

Gave one star cos I had to. Please read the reviews on this place before ordering. Total waste of time. Placed an order, paid, waited then went to collect to find the place closed. Signs all over the campsite saying open till 8pm. Just eat said open till 8pm. Google said open till 8pm. Campsite response is that people need to check Facebook before ordering their food. We didn't even know a wee crappy snack van would have a fb page 😂 left with no food on the last night of our trip. Not local so now need to figure out somewhere else to eat. Total joke please don't give them your money. No customer care at all just money grabbing. Edited to add owner trying to claim we didn't order now 😂 please avoid and give your business to the more reasonable priced and customer friendly take aways around. We ordered from a lovely local Chinese and got double the food for less cost 💕💕💕

left without food on a Saturday night says it all. They decided to shut early obviously making to much money with there over priced food they can shut on a Saturday night. I will not give them another penny

Excellent Mac N Cheese, burritos and fries. Good quality and much better than we expected.

Service was not great, bacon roll was pathetic. A dry roll with overcooked and dry bacon.

Great Lunch spot next the canal. Outdoor seating. Super varied menu with dietary options, very reasonably priced. Lovely cheery staff. All food made to order, so be prepared for a short wait. Highly Recommended 😉

A gem of a place that I stop bye regularly. Love their square saucage on a roll and latte. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to others.

This was a timeconsuming experience. It took way too long to get our coffe and ice cream. The salted caramel ice was tasty. People in the line were abandoning their orders. We shall not return

A true hidden gem , delicious food cooked infront of you and seating by the canal , throw in some sunshine while your eating and watch the world pass by

Went to support opening day, Service couldn't be any worse if he tried. Food was ok but poor quality products, coffee was a disaster.

My teenage son was harping on about being hungry and we stopped here so he could have a bite to eat, the burger and dirty fries he had were tasty and the coffee was from freshly ground beans, generous portions on both the burger and fries and it certainly filled him up and kept him quiet for a while.

Pretty poor , service without a smile , food was bland steak sandwich was full of fat . Bread was barely toasted . Bacon and Lorne was good quality , rolls were not . Not worth the coin

Great food in a lovely location, would be sure to go back. Everything we had was incredible but I think hands down the dirty fries were the best value for money

I had a Burger from here and the Burger was beautiful it's a bit expensive for a Burger at 8 pound and no chips

No milk??? Do you have tray bakes?(as advertised on price board) not sure!!!. So for a set up that is supposed to provided hit foods and various snacks it fell qell below the minimum standard I was expecting. Wont bother stopping next time i pass

I had to wait over ten minutes for two scoops of ice cream for my son which cost me £5 and the ice cream ended up in the bin because it was over frozen and tasteless. I don't mind waiting that long if there is a big queue but there was only two other people waiting and there and there was three staff working. The staff were flustered, dropping utensils and openly swearing in ear shot of customers. I saw a customer waiting for ten minutes before his order was even taken! It's a shame. You're in a good spot there but because of the prices, waiting times, poor quality produce and hopeless staff I won't be returning.

More my brothers review, I was only near here picking him up after walking the Great Glen Way, he had a burger and was given a load of fries gratis, also was given a glass of whiskey by some American tourists too, so well worth a visit if you time it right...

Just popped in for coffee and was greeted with a smile very friendly staff. And wonderful strong coffee. Definately be back Highly recommend

Ordered the pink steak sandwich. This was literally the toughest steak I've ever tried to eat. Chips tasted like the cooking oil needed changed. Not worth the money!

We got a pizza from the Blackbox. It was very tasty and I would highly recommend you try them. Best pizza we have had in a long time. Chips are great as well 👍🏻

Not great. From standing at the counter we could see a dirty cooking area with spilt chips on the floor, the floor was quite greasy. My fried egg had black bits on it which suggested a dirty flat top. I had a wee breakfast box. The roll was at the bottom of the box with the rest of the food dumped on top, including the egg which burst leaking into everything else. To be honest it looked like a dogs breakfast. Sausages were over cooked... just lack of care and quality. Won't be rushing back.

Coffee was tepid at best and far too milky. A real shame as its q lovely were spot after a walk up the canal. Might try the food next time before writing it off completely 🤔

Good wholesome food with generous portions and cooked well

Me and my Dad landed at this place by chance. Arrived too early for a boat trip further down the road, so we were actually on our way to Aldi to get some bits as it was only 9am. Just noticed it tucked away off the road next to a lovely canal. The two big breakfasts that we ordered were incredible, really nice black pudding, bacon cooked perfect. I'd 1000% go back and recommend. If I had one criticism, I just thought you could be using better sausages, but that would be just nagging. It was a delicious breakfast that set us up for the day!!

Great place for a lovely walk and a half time bite to eat. Chicken burger was spot on, however the normal burger was lacking.

I have visited several times in past few weeks, each time the staff have been lovely. I am Gluten Free so it's a refreshing change to find that they have gluten free bread, it's so nice to be able to order Normal stuff like everyone one else. Had a really tasty egg & Bacon Sandwich. It's in a lovely spot so was nice to eat an watch the world go by.

Arrived when it wasn’t busy, stood at the hatch for what felt like an age before one of the three staff working there even acknowledged me. A simple “I’ll be right with you” or something would have been more polite. Food was fine, no complaints. Wont be bothering to go back there though.

We were on Torvean campsite and just grabbed a quick bite to eat to save us going out again. 2 x Steak sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Very tasty food and the guy brought it straight to my campervan rather than have me queuing. Would definitely go there again. 👍
