Highly recommend. Plenty of seating, with a nive atmosphere, served by a charming friendly and attentive gentleman, the standards here including the food is absolutely top rate, you won’t be disappointed. Great experience all round 👍

We placed an order at 6.45pm via deliveroo. Our delivery time kept being pushed back and after an hour, Bobby from B&K phoned me to let me know that our order had been ready for half an hour and that there was a driver who was refusing to collect the order. We had some back and fourth with Deliveroo who advised a new driver would be collecting the order. After waiting an additional 30 minutes we still had no update on the app. We phoned back B&K and Bobby was incredibly helpful. He apologised profusely for the error albeit it wasn’t the restaurants fault. He then hand delivered the food himself, as well as giving us some extras to apologise. As always a lovely meal from B&K. Top tier salt beef and the best latkes. Highly recommend this restaurant and their wonderful customer service.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered a Reuben sandwich. I was presented with two huge wedges of salt beef, cheese and a pickled cucumber, garnished with a salad. Delicious and more than enough for both lunch and dinner! Recommended!

Usually, I get takeaways but people that eat in seem to be having a lovely dining experience too; the place is never empty. Some may say it’s expensive but the quality of food as worth every penny. Myself and my family have been going to B&K salt beef bar for many years and will continue to do so. The deli food is fresh and the hot cooked to order food is just unbeatable. The owner and his staff are always incredibly welcoming! Would highly recommend if you love Jewish food!

The best salt beef sandwiches in North London. Forget the greasy, fatty, chewy stuff from Brick Lane - this is the real deal. The best latkes, too. I can also highly recommend the egg & onion, chopped liver, and chopped herring.

B&K Hatch End continue to serve the best salt beef I have ever tasted accompanied by divine chips, excellent salads and pickled cucumbers For fish eaters both their fish balls and fried fish are far superior to any of the local fish and chip restaurants I cannot comment on the starters or deserts as due to the enormous size of the fabulous main course it would be impossible for me to eat either

Best salt beef sandwich and service is great but expensive. Sure prices have gone up even more recently :-( And if you eat in - if you share the sandwich you pay more for it to be cut in half. Seems ridiculous.

They are not kosher, using the word kosher as a specialty is just a disguise on Google. They use style of kosher, not sure what that mean. Google can you please force them to make the correction

Fabulous food, atmosphere and service

I always stop by this Deli restaurant and take away whenever Im in the area. Friendly outgoing staff, always happy to serve you. Honestly and easily one of the best Salt Beef Bars in London, you owe yourself a visit here or to the Edgware shop. My take out is the legendary Salt Beef loaded on Rye, with sliced pickles and a dash of mustard. My starters are a couple of Fishballs and a lovley Latkes on the side, awesome!

We ordered a large quantity of food for my husband's birthday party: fishballs, cod coujons, chicken, chips and mini bagels. Nothing was too much trouble, we received excellent service from Marios. The food was delivered beautifully on time and well packed on trays, ready to go on the table! All the guests were impressed with the food, especially the fishballs. Many asked where the food came from, so you'll have more customers soon. Many thanks Marios & your team for a wonderful service.

Whenever I crave salt beef, this is where I go, and I have done that for close to a decade! The salt beef is absolutely delicious and I have to buy kgs of it to take away sometimes! The only negative I have is that the price on the delivery sites is a lot lot higher!! Its just a shame when this restaurant isn't round the corner! However, it doesn't stop the main dish being worth it 100%.

Decided to have a Friday treat. Went into this local place to order a freshly made Salt Beef sandwich on Rye with gherkin and mustard. Best decision of the week! Sandwich was extremely generous and was delicious. Must go back to try other deli items. Serving staff were courteous and attentive. Great local deli, no need to eat junk food!

First experience tasting Salt Beef & it certainly didn't disappoint! I was working locally and before the travel back to the Midlands I stopped off to grab some lunch. The B&K Team were extremely friendly and explained the Salt Beef process & let me try some. Talk about taste sensation, WOW... It was that good I decided to buy my Fiancé one also & take them back to the Midlands to experience together. We have now polished them both off & the full verdict is Amazing! Gutted there is no real demand for them any where in the Midlands! 😢

Not good. Sandwiches too thick slices... egg and onion fillings too dry and spilling out of the sandwich...very difficult to eat...should have had lots more mayonnaise to hold it in....coffee capucchino very milky. No taste whatsoever in the food. Also soup no taste. Potato half salad half cooked too hard . Was very disappointed. But their chicken shinitzel and chips 🍟 are the best.

I love this place because you can get yourself an authentic ruebin without having to go all the way to Brick Lane or Borough Market. Good selection of salads and dinners too, staff friendly. 🥯 As for the review below giving 1 star, I dont know why its been allowed to be submitted?? All because someone mixed up Hatch End and Shepherds Bush. Thats not a fair reflection on the business.

Went there yesterday, usually very good, ordered portion of chop liver, £5.00, so small I asked for more only to be told thats the portion any more they would charge, absolute rip off, never go again.

This is how salt beef sandwiches should be done. Just enough rye to get loads, LOADS of salt beef to your mouth. I like mustard on mine 🙂
