Butterflies Cafe in Harrow

Last time I was here was 19th june 2018 Still excellent in my opinion opened on time at 7am warm and welcoming Could not fault the food and coffee .decent w.c. good staff There today Monday 23rd September

I've been to Butterflies several times and always had a warm welcome and enjoyed tasty food cooked how I've asked. The omelettes are lovely - and the chips are delicious!! I've also enjoyed baked potatoes, but they seem to run out quickly so they're not always available. The service is always friendly and I definitely recommend Butterflies - great local cafe!

Just had a delicious brunch that made my day, the owner was nice and made us feel at home and the service was quick and professional. Good food and excellent price! Definitely recommend it!

The food was great and very well cooked. The portions were extremely generous too and the prices are very good compared to other cafes. However, I must say I find the owner (Philip) very annoying with his comments and jokes that he makes. Please just let the customers eat in peace without making annoying comments and jokes.

Lovely breakfast with quality sausages. Top Illy coffee. Friendly staff. Modern fresh decor. Highly recommend ☺☺☺

The Butterflies Cafe is my preferred place to have lunch when I'm in the area. The food is freshly cooked, the service is superb and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I have been coming to this cafe for the past two years. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. Food is brilliant! Prices are low compared to places surrounding this cafe and the food and portion size is amazing, I'm never able to finish my food! Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

I live opposite this cafe and decided to check it out. My first impression was dire. The girl behind the counter was clearly unhappy to serve me. I assertively addresses the situation and the owner a very jolly man handled the situation well. Unfortunately the vibe she set was so apparent I had to directly ask her. I soon understood very clearly that she did not want to serve a black person. I figured this out as the owner was very apologetic and unable to stop her from behaving in a belligerent passive aggressive manner. I offered to leave as it was clear I was not welcomed he (owner) was very kind but unfortunately she left a bad taste in my mouth, had my experience not encountered her then there would be a lot more positive things to say. I’d never go back here due to my experience as I felt the atmosphere racist and as I live directly opposite I avoid it like the plague and frequent the other cafe where they smile and welcome my custom. I was not going to write this review but this kind of information needs to be shared. Hopefully he gets rid of that rude racist person. This is the uk diversity is our thing

Lovely friendly place with great service. The breakfast is perfectly cooked and tastes great. And HOT TEA!! Very reasonable. We will definitely be back for more!

Everything on the menu is fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection but I can never resist a cheese and mushroom omelette.......I challenge you to find better! The atmosphere and service make for a relaxed and friendly vibe.

Locals love Butterflies because of the atmosphere and consistent quality of food (Philip's a classically trained chef), but if you really want to see the owner shine; try a bistro evening! Andreea is a great barista too. Highly recommend the omelette and quiche!

Just had a great lunch...freshly made chicken salad, crisp, fresh and delicious! Great busy atmosphere, great food and Illy coffee...what else could I want to start a good afternoon. I will call here again when I am in the area!

Love this little spot. Great service always with a smile & a relaxing atmosphere! 10/10-!! Great selection of fresh ingredients :-) £8 got us = 2 x Tea 2 x scrambled eggs, toast, grilled tomato, beans, smoked salmon!

Qué gran café. Menú era valor completo y variado y extraordinariamente buena. Estaba limpio y relajado y la calidad de la comida era excepcional ( una de las mejores tortillas que he probado) sin mencionar el café que se sirve muy buena y caliente. Te recomendamos que te deja en si está de paso.

Estoy bastante cansados de todas las cafeterías de cadena, así que fue una agradable sorpresa de encontrar esta nueva cafetería elegante en Northwood High Street. El café era bueno, aunque una pequeña pega era que las tazas realmente no caben los platillos. El desayuno se vende todo el día y orden junto con ensaladas, pasta y sándwiches y parece un precio muy razonable. Nuestra comida fue preparado a pedido y era fresco, no grasa y muy sabroso. Sin duda recomendaría mariposas y volveremos aquí de nuevo. Apoyar a los independientes.
