Been in tonight order fis and chips and jumbo sausage, never seen a smaller over cooked fish and the chips were rock hard, been here quite a few times and it's usually quite nice won't be back

Terrible. Cakes look good but if they taste anything like the food stay well clear . Waited 20 mins for a fish supper . Seriously it was that over cooked I'm convinced it had already been in the fryer , chips no better . Bin fodder . Avoid !

I have been a regular customer for a couple years, ordering once a week. They do my favourite food but unfortunately over the past few months the quality and service have plummeted. I have no idea why. Tonight will be my final order. A £45 order put in at 20:22 which after 2 hours had not arrived. I called up to be told that it was already "on its way". I live 6 mins from the shop. Half an hour later I refunded on just eat doubtful it would ever arrive. It ultimately arrived at 22:50 (30 mins after shop supposedly closes). Two and a half hours after ordering in total. The food was ultimately delivered cold, with the boxes for some reason looking like they had been beaten up badly. The pizza box was so damaged (and for some reason wet) you could actually see the pizza through the lid. The food was a mess. Its a Saturday night so you don't expect quick delivery, but this is way beyond that. A quick look at the reviews shows the degrading of quality and service is a common theme. It also shows the owners like to reply to reviews with sarcastic comments. Doubtless mine will get one, but that's okay, this was my final order anyway. Sad, because this was my regular 'go-to' place and now I have to find a new one. My regretful advice: avoid.

I defy anyone to walk into this shop and be actually acknowledged when they walk in. These people have the most rudest, ignorant and non existent customer service I have ever experienced anywhere I've ever shopped. They get my back up as soon as I walk in the premises, so much so, I will never ever purchase anything from them again. When they actually realise that a customer has entered the shop, you're looked at then ignored until they can be bothered to serve you, which is when they've finished talking amongst themselves, conversations which are usually peppered with expletives in front of customers. So in my opinion, if they've got no regard or respect for the people who enable them to remain in business, I'll spend my money elsewhere - permanently. They are a really good example of a very poor experience.

So if you order a large pizza. They give you a large pizza box with a medium pizza in it.. I opened my pizza box to be so disappointed that the pizza did not match the box. Could give it to my 4 year old nephew and he would off still been hungry.

What an amazing bit of food this is. Staff is amazing and helpful especially the young lad seems to be doing anything what a grafter 😉😉. Will be going here again

Ordered from Washington bits n pizzas takeaway and it's the first time the order came on time and lovely and fresh and very hot. Pizza was great for price charging unlike some other takeaways charging more, it has great flavour the sauce was just tasty and great choice of half and half enjoyed it also the chicken nuggets and onion rings were hot. The cake for dessert was fantastic as wide portion and taste was excellent. Will again in future order from here.

I’ve always had great food from here today I received something that looked and tasted like it had already been fried went cold then was stuck back in the fryer again burnt to a crisp taste the chips rock solid and inedible I’m afraid to eat any of this incase the fish has been cold and refried the chips rock solid clearly something that was return or old stock that has been stuck back in the fryer you can smell the burnt food before opening the box dreadful Very disappointed in this

Ordered 2 pizzas, one of which was Kiev, no taste or smell of garlic, rang to be told it’s just a thin layer and it’s at the bottom of the pizza, that must cancel out the smell and taste I guess. First and last visit.

Literally the worst service. Called in tonight sat 15 minutes waiting for one small saugage and a few scraps of chips. The 2 women behind the counter just paced back on forth with earpieces in chuntering and ignoring us while the young lad ran about seeming doing everything. The women didn't even look up and acknowledge the fact we'd sat there so long. I saw the younger woman literally fling the wrapped up sausage in the top oven to keep it warm then a good ten minutes later the lad was told abruptly to "get the chips" which he scraped from the bottom of the fryer so we'd clearly sat the whole time yet the food was ready. The two women were obviously too busy chatting on the phones to take any notice Got them home and the chips were rotten threw half in the bin and the sausage was so over cooked it was almost inedible. Avoid like the plague such a shame because when it first opened it was smashing. Clearly the owners couldn't give a stuff anymore Place didn't exactly look clean either. Will be going back to my usual take away in future. ROTTEN

Ordered here a few times over the last few years and the quality has dropped over the last few months. Chips are undercooked, have no real bite to them. Rest of the food wasn't great and was luke warm when we received it. Order took over an hour to come to somewhere not far away on a Thursday night (not as busy as a weekend I would assume) Disappointing.

I cant actually believe this place is still open. What I experienced last night was horrific. The customer service is shocking and the way I was spoken to was vile. If that's a business ran professional god knows what goes in there food!

Ordered fish'n'chips for delivery. Opened box both fish were in pieces, over cooked, and cold. I've never seen fish so thin. Scored them 2 stars as the chips were ok, fish worst I've ever had.

Was in the process of ordering on the phone when i got told they only accept card payment. Tried to explain that this order is for vulnerable adults who can only pay in cash. No effort whatsover from the staff who answered the phone to accommodate this order. Was also rudely told that i can't order if i can't pay by card. Have ordered here so many times with no problem whatsover before but from now on, we will just order somewhere else more professional and from a business that doesn't discriminate against people with disabilities.

Waited to order for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged, the lady that presumably runs the place is borderline psychopathic but the young lad in the man united shirt was a great help. Chips were lovely (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) but I didn't finish the fish out of fear of food poisoning, it didn't feel cooked at all

Never had a bad takeaway from here. Pizzas are decent, good fish and chips, and value for money is spot on. Delivery is usually quick too, even on a Friday or Saturday night. Only had 1 occasion from numerous orders where they have forgotten an item. Rang them up on a Saturday night and replacement was with me quickly.

Absolutely horrible service, two hour long wait for the food which we were told was with the driver and hour through for it to then show up and the driver to ask if it was late and him saying he's on my just picked it up. Opened it up and almost stone cold. Never ordering from here again.

Absolute joke tonight, £40 worth of food that the dogs wouldn't even eat! Normally the food is decent, but tonight the kebab was disgusting, the chicken was freezing! Worse food I have ever had delivered. We used to go here quite often, but never again. The only thing that was half decent was the chips. Normally wait forever for the food, but the food is good. Tonight is was delivered in a decent time and the food wasn't eatable. I personally won't be taking the risk ordering again, and can see the place going out of bussiness very soon if they keep sending food out like that.

I visited tonight with my associates to order some refreshments, and recived a frosty reception. The Food Was exorbitantly expensive, the restraint operates a BUY ONE - GET ONE FREE offer tonight,,, didn't recive this offer, we ordered 3 pizzas, did we get the discount 3 for £15???? NO!! TWO offers deliberately skipped out on by the scheming, highwayman of an owner. I will never ever be back. And I will be warning others not to go!!!! £38 for three pizzas and three chips that should have cost less than £25!!!!!!!!

Decent food but staff attitude, he put so much spicy sauce on my kebab that it was inedible . I wished id took a photo it was swimming in sauce and completely spolit a 12 quid kebab

The chips were white and weren't cooked correctly. The kebab was like rubber and over cooked

I have just ordered for collection, I had to repeat my order & after confirming when collecting after opening the chicken burgers in a bun were put in the box upside down, they were drenched in garlic sauce, buns were soggy off it & it was all over our hands & I ordered curry & chips but there were 2 soggy buns in there which was not ordered as I did not order a curry & chip butty, they need to listen when taking orders as I often have to repeat myself

I rang up about a question on my food and I was shouted at down the phone and listed the ingredients in an angry manor “here mate listen” “I don’t know what’s in the sauces” “do what ya want” which I think is disgusting

Nicest fish and chips in a long time. Chips weren't white greasy things and batter on fish was crispy - rare as not many Chippies know how to cook batter these days

The food is really good, I took a star off as every time I've had to ring in an order their attitude is terrible. I usually order via just eat. I haven't yet collected any food where anyone has actually seemed happy to see a customer. I'd selected garlic sauce with one order but they gave me bbq, I said "ah, that's not the right sauce" the guy started arguing and made a massive deal out of swapping the sauce over. If their food wasn't good, I'd never go back.

I've always been a regular here but tonight has been by far the last I order a mixed wrap with salad only recieve chicken. And normal food is outstanding can never fault it. So ring up to be told I've robbed them by pound in fact I got told 22.65 at then end of my order so I work it out for my self with witness as well, when you spend £15 you get free 2litre bottle of pop and well I was charged. And also its always been £2.50 for delivery and well I've been charged extra tonight. Spoke to like crap by manager which I think he need to learn to speak to people with a little more respect and maybe he might get it back.Don't call me a liar when your menu tells me that my order was different and if u think I robbed u it was u robbing your customer. I hope one he learns respect

If you want spoken to like something a dog has dropped in the garden then this is the place to go foods ok but ring up and complain about something missing off your order mystic megs son works there and knows your gonna rob him of a quid so then doesn't put the correct order through to then scream like someone who hasn't had the daily dose of antipsychotic medication when you ring up and doesn't care that you are or were a regular... buy cheap i spose you get cheap i read so many bad reviews all the time but tonight I've herd it lesson learnt keep ya quid shove it in ya meter to keep warm i dread to think what the bloke speaks to his mother or wife like.....

Clean, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Update: Our 1st few orders were spot on. Nice, hot and delivered on time. Alas, all of our subsequent orders have gradually worsened. From barely hot food to missing items. Our latest order was both of the above and a call to the shop was met with poor customer service. That became our last order!

Horrendous! We have ordered regaurly from here and usually fine but has gone massively downhill now. Food was 2 hours late and obviously cold by time it arrived. Staff on the telephone very rude. Delivery driver admitted they were given the food order an hour and 10mins after ordering but were asked to travel to gateshead before washington so this added a further 35minutes to wait. Food was cold and dry, absolutely vile. If I hadn't already paid I would have cancelled.

Thought I would review in here since they have removed my comment form Facebook. Ordered a tikka chicken kebab. 1 hour 40 mins later it turned up. Chicken was decent but it had the smallest portion of salad I've ever had on a kebab. More like a side salad. Mostly lettuce with a few pieces of red cabbage so I had to add more plus onion myself. If it had been decent I wouldn't have minded a bit of a wait but I'll stick with Classic from now on

Very poor service tonight. Ordered via just eat and only received part order. Called to inform that we were missing certain items ( part of it was my daughters food), lady on phone admitted her 'boss' never made up daughters food and refunded us and the other items I'm missing were put in the box with food ordered. I told them it's not there and she gave me attitude that delivery driver will not be sending out missing food. AVOID THIS PLACE, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!

I am used to having Tikka Chicken on my "Indian" meals; so to have it as a Chicken Kebab, was strangely different but rather pleasant. The meal comes with two large pitta breads, a choice of chips or salad and a choice of two sauces. It also arrives in a large box, keeping everything compact. The regular size is large enough for the amount of Chicken but you can get a large size for two pounds more. My only criticism is that the amount of salad, is a bit on the small side. I'm pleased that we ordered an extra, large salad between us.

Lost for words for the customer service. My order came with items missing. When I called to ask if They could send them an awful man with a terrible attitude reluctantly agreed before disconnecting. No apology. Lost a customer. Couldn't pay me to return. I am so disgusted with the customer service

I have been a loyal customer for months. Just eat have have trouble changing my address and it is never a problem to correct with numerous previous orders. I rang to alert the change as usual however tonight i has the misfortune to speak with really arrogant man. I was told it was my fault and wasn’t prepared to update my order to the correct address. He would rather lose the order. Massive business lost from us

Unbelievable how poor quality the service is from this place. Ordered a couple of pizzas from them tonight through just eat, nothing turned up. Rang them and apparently they tried delivering twice, which is impossible as we have been in the front room waiting all evening. They then said if we wanted the food we've already paid for, we would have to pay for delivery again. Now just eat and bits pizza are refusing a refund even though we received no food.

Week b4 spot on, today a joke, ultra frazzled fish, raw soggy chips,so called mushy peas nearly took a filling out, in the bin, obs ordered too near to closing time, shan't use again.

The food here is lovely. Top notch fish and chips and the pizzas and kebabs are lovely too! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Can't recommend the place enough! Just came back to edit this review. Today Bits n Pizza gave me a free large pizza for being self employed and out of work during the lockdown. A truly lovely thing to do. Brilliant food and a sense of community! Keep up the great work and thank you so much.

Absolutely understand Saturday nights are busy but ringing with a genuine enquiry about why the food has taken over 20 minutes past the maximum amount of time on Uber Eats... met with rudeness, using lockdown as a blanket excuse (well practised script) then blaming Uber eats (don’t register with them if you can’t do the orders), hugely aggressive phone manner and hung up on me when I asked him not to be rude to me.

Dont think I've ever received a smaller fish piece from a fish shop before... basically paid full price for a half portion and it didn't taste fresh. Chips were dry as owt. Missed item off order. Not worth the wait.

I ordered a pizza from here and it had mould on, absolute disgrace. The only person I’d recommend It to is a murderer. Rotten honestly chips were dry as a desert, then rung up and they said they couldnt do anything about it! Is that a joke it’s mouldy as out! We are neighbours of yourselves and are wonder if you could please ask your delivery driver to turn down the music in his car. It's almost impossible to watch anything on tv without having the constant boom boom of the music up and down the road all night. Many thanks

My sister ordered from here, kebab and pizza bites. Coming to a total of £5.95 When the order arrived the kebab was cold, as if it had been left laying on the counter for hours, the pizza bites were hardly anything near it, cheese dipped with breadcrumbs. The morning after, she called to complain about the food, and the man who answered, demanded that the order was correct. After telling them that we would be contacting their delivery service (Just Eat), the man angrily shouted at her, telling her to "Do whatever she wanted". As a business man, working in a takeaway, it was unprofessional and outrageous.

Tasty battered burger n fab chunky chips will defo return better portions than other places

I order at least twice a week from here, food has always been nice but this time it’s like you've spilled the garlic mix all over my pizza so struggling to eat it and it was delivered within 5 mins of ordering it so when I questioned how it was so soon and that I hope it’s cooked ur driver he was an absolute cock to me.

Ordered a tuna pizza .ended up with a tuna pizza with prawns then found out it also has cockles on it. Second time we have been here and second time order messed up. Never again even if they did refund.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from bits n pizzas tonight.. ordered food 8.22pm waited an hour and 5mins and called up to see what was happening to be told it would be with us in 10 minutes that being 9.37 its now 10.02 and they are ignoring all contact and it closed at 10 so unsure if food will even arrive... food arrived they didnt listen to the request of no mushrooms on the pizza the pizza was over cooked the pitta breads are like rocks etc wtc absolute rubbish

Usually order pizza from here and usually lush. Ordered chips too this time. Not only did our order take 50 mins ( we only live 10 min walk away) our chips tasted like they had been re-heated and then gone cold again. The portions were literally 2 small handfuls. I have hands like a 12 year old son small! And they costill 1.80. 😠

My friend ordered a vegetarian pizza with NO mushrooms as she is alergic...... i also asked fornit to arrive at a specific time so someone could collect from downstairs...... it came before this time and the pizza contained mushrooms. Rang to make a complaint and get them to send a pizza without mushrooms and the woman on the phone was very very rude and put the phone down. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has took me 35 calls to get threw to this shop after ordering of just eat i have waited 1 hour 35 mins 4 a delivery and it is still not here its a dam disgrace the customer service and a 6 min call of just ringing when i finally get threw to be ecnored never order from here again would not recomend

I ordered food from these guys after looking at the menu and decided on fish chips and a spam fritter delivery took little while but what can you do when in traffic, food was delivered to my lorry as I'm lorry driver from Essex really enjoyed all of it lovely feast to end a long day love the garlic sauce is mega garlicky 😍Thanks guys will order again next time I park up here

The best I've tasted in Washington for a long time. Customer service very good and made to feel comfortable while waiting as they fry to order which is the best thing too. All nice & fresh. My regular from now on.

Owners are absolute scum, who think it's fine to tell someone to 'go and die of cancer' all because the store messed up and delivered the wrong order. One can only hope the scum develop the horrific disease themselves and see how they'd feel about dying a slow, painful death.. We can hope. And since the owner is so god damned pathetic as to reply to any form of negative review, can't wait to see what he's got to say on this bombshell. (Not that there's much he can do, since it's ALL OVER FACEBOOK.. Goodbye business!)
