Bistrot Pierre Eastbourne in Enfield

Lovely atmosphere, good food, well looked after by Mia even though it was a very busy Friday evening..................

My choice of well done beef was cooked perfectly (no blood) and sweet was lovely. My partner's choice was less appetising as the roti chicken was dry and we were disappointed that the wild mushroom sauce was at extra cost which we declined.

We had an evening meal in the bar and two breakfasts at Bistrot Pierre this week. Each time the food and service have been outstanding. The value for money is extraordinarily good compared to other places in the area. You really are plugging the gap left by the seafront hotels who think everyone wants an expensive and enormous breakfast; we'd rather eat the small portion we want, at an appropriate price. Thanks for serving a small breakfast, even though it wasn't on the menu. This morning's eggs benedict was perfect. And whoever decided french toast made with croissants should be a thing deserves an award. Top marks for cleanliness and nice loos too :)

Great food as always, and lovely staff too, I never have a bad experience here! I’ve had breakfasts and also dinner, I’m gluten free and there’s so many options ☺️

Our host Mia has been lovely. The food was very nice & atmosphere. We went for a set menu, two starters, main, dessert and coffee. Great way to experience more different food. Bistro has nice location at sea front, which is a bonus. Overall highly recommended.

Food was very good! Great service by Chad. Reasonably priced too. Had the Beef bougingon and a pint of Mahoo. Will come again.

Saturday night when we got there the restaurant was busy but the manager offered a drink at the bar until we waiting. We got the first available table from Jirek. Thanks a lot for the warm welcome we will be back for sure

Went there with friends for a coffee and dessert. We ordered creme brulé. It was huge and very tasty. The waiter Yarek was amazing, the service was quick, he made us feel very welcome even though we just wanted a coffee and dessert. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

On 25th evening I have Met with friends for a long overdue catch up. The restaurant was busy and had a nice atmosphere. The food came out relatively quickly and was all tasty. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and although it was busy we didn't feel rushed. An enjoyable evening. Thanks management and all staff

Did everything very well - good good, service and ambience - it’s clearly a well managed outfit. Do visit and you’ll almost certainly do so again.

Nice food reasonably priced. Service sometimes a bit hit and miss depending on who is on duty. We really like the quality of the food and portions are ok.

The price range is wrong on this site. PRICE RANGE £3 – £25. Fillet steak PLUS EXTRA for truffle fries and a sauce costs £32.50, plus your starter and pudding - the place is expensive. The food we had was okay - nothing special. For two people we spent £150 - inc four drinks and service. The staff need training and they need to employ an experienced manager. I saw many servers taking food to various tables asking if it was their food - which it wasn't. Most restaurants have tables numbered so I don't know why they couldn't get service correct. Kerttu (server) was the only person who seemed to understand what was what. The couple next to us had a hair in one of their burgers, which they didn't have to pay for. I don't believe the place is accessible - it's on top of Wishtower Slopes (a huge hill). There is no mention of accessibility on the website. Would I return or recommend? NO

Nice setting, there were 5 friends. We came to this restaurant after a dear friend’s funeral. All looking forward to a nice lunch only to be bitterly disappointed ☹️. My husband’s gammon steak was dry and very over cooked, served with dry warmed up mashed potato. Yuk! Not very big portions either. Don’t think it’s proper French food. The rest of the meals were only just edible. Certainly won’t be going there to eat again.

Once again, enjoyed our visit to Pierre Bistrot. Lovely staff and ambience. Just wanted to point out that on the last two occasions our food could have been hotter.

Wow, wonderful panoramic views of sea/south downs/garden and elegant Grand hotel in one vista! Delicious food, great service and I thought good value too. This is the spot to dine and socialise in Eastbourne for any occasion!

We went with friends and had an Excellent meal and service. Our waitress Ola made are experience really special. The venue is stunning.

Situated on elevated ground on the seafront, this is an excellent informal busy vibrant restaurant to enjoy at supper time. The menu is very diverse and the quality of food is excellent.The wine list is sensibly and affordably priced. The gambas were really excellent and all the portions were a good size including the starters. The chicken dish was tasty and succulent.We were there at a very busy time with some groups but the staff were smiley, efficient, very alert and the food came quite quickly after ordering. The head waitress Miranda was outstanding as was our server Kerttu. All in all a lovely happy experience.

Really disappointing lunch today. Very small portions. Starters, five thin slices of battered calamari was 'passable'. Fried Brie was more substantial. Steak and chips arrived without any veg so meal looked lost on the plate and certainly was not a filling lunch. Requested one 'medium' and one 'medium rare' steaks both arrived 'medium rare'. One fishcake served on a mix of lettuce and chopped green beans with a few bits of chopped red pepper, plus one cold potato cut into three pieces? Yuk, really unpleasant. Asked for Pepsi without ice, drinks arrived full of ice. Pot au chocolate for dessert was very nice, Sadly, rhubarb and apple tart was a bad choice - it arrived with one teaspoon of ice cream and the tart smothered in enough muesli to choke on, hard pushed to find, or taste, the rhubarb! Beautiful sea views, lovely staff, lousy food. £93.00 definitely not close to value for money. Really disappointing.

Fantastic setting !! table waiting for us website easily to use for a bank holiday Sunday they had spaced out the bookings very cleverly so it didn’t feel overwhelming any point. We were served by a very pleasant waitress called Chloe and Adrian who was super enthusiastic and very very helpful. The food was very good and surprisingly good size portions. Surprisingly reasonably priced for the quality of food, and overall very very good value. Will definitely visit again!
