Very dependable French restaurant. It won't blow your socks off, but perfect if you want a low-key French meal that's not too expensive. They also have colouring for children

Amazing night had, we came for a family members birthday as we met in the bar we greeted by a very polite young man who served our drinks at a great speed and each done to perfection. Once everyone had arrived we made our way upstairs to be greeted with a smile by another gentleman who showed us to the table, he was happy to go through the menu with those that had never been before. Our order was taken and the lady was very patient with the whole table. The food arrived and looked fantastic and tasted even more fantastic, there was nothing that was too much trouble for the people who served us. Then came dessert time and as a special treat there was a little candle in the birthday persons desert. Everyone said how great the meal was and all were looking forward to visiting again.

Lovely location and nice interior. Came for breakfast. The place was very quiet (maybe 4 other tables) yet the 2 scrambled egg on sourdough and bacon bap took about 30 minutes to come. The scrambled egg was poor over-cooked, not very tasty, a pale yellow colour and poor sourdough toast. The service was quite poor and seemed disinterested and no apologies for the long wait - perhaps 30 minutes for something so basic is normal? Payment by going to the bar also seemed to be taking an awful long time with so many buttons needing to pressed to come up with a bill. Also didn't like that the fact the service charge was built-in, rather than itemised. If I'd have known that service charge was included, would have asked for it to have been taken off.

We went out for a family meal here. The atmosphere was really nice. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing. Our waitress Nat, was exceptional. The food was amazing for the price paid. Overall highly recommended.

Circular building with tap beers available. More eating place than drinking but very nice place indeed. Clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Absolutely stunning Sunday roast today. All fresh and hot! Service was 10/10 with an observation made of all staff working hard with GREAT customer care and service. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely, lovely afternoon. Lisa & Martin

Pre-booked without a hitch. Spacious restaurant with great food and friendly professional service from staff.

I was extremely disappointed as we were there to celebrate Mothers Day. We ordered our drinks and water for the table .The drinks came, but the water did not until we had reminded the waitress 3 times . We then ordered our food . Well, what a farce . Everyone in our party received their starters apart for myself . We again asked where my starter was . The response will be five minutes . Ten minutes later, my starter . did not come . Asked again, and the Response Oh have you not received it . Took them another five minutes. The main course well what can you say . My wife ordered the Fruite de Mar risotto . What a joke!!!. My school dinners were better than that. 1 prawn and four clams and a fillet of soggy bass, which had no flavour and was a complete mush . I gave my wife my chicken dinner, and in fairness, that was nice. Called the waitress and told her that this Fruit de Mar risotto was a joke. She asked if I would like something else, and I said the chicken would be great (it may take up to 30 minutes). This order did not get to the kitchen . 40 minutes passed, and still no main meal . We called the waitress over, and she denied that I said that I wanted anything. I asked to forget the cheese and biscuits as I was not happy but son yes he wants it. Conclusion. 1) Please take off the Risotto as it let's down the restaurant. 2) Perhaps the Manager should get involved with the customer who has a complaint. 3) Very poor training in Customer Service. On a positive note, there gave the squid and cheese and biscuits free of charge. End of rant needs sorting.

Visited today 31/3/2025 at 14:30 We sat and waited to be served but no one even acknowledged us! There was a young male server/barman and a woman behind the bar. No one said hello or bring menus. We waited 20 minutes, then asked another table if it was self service? This is not professional at and for the prices they ask for a meal it certainly shouldn’t be self service! Not sure if they know what Hospitality means as the woman only knew how to vent that she didn’t get enough time off. Management should train their staff properly, starting from the basics, greet your customers when entering the restaurant!!

Went for the murder mystery event, had an absolutely amazing time. food was great as was the service.

This was a very nice restaurant with views of the sea and the pier. They kindly fitted my dad and me in for a birthday lunch with just one day’s notice and gave us a table with a nice view. We shared some small plates which were very nice, and later came back for cocktails which at 2 for £14 were a good bargain. The service was very friendly, I would recommend a visit here.

Absolutely awful, we ate here this evening for our anniversary, awful does not cover it,you cannot give a no stars review for some reason.We sat down to a wobbly table, we ordered our food,we were told 20 - 25 minutes as they had to cook it,ok, no problem, 55 minutes later I asked the lady if she knew where our meal was? She said it won’t be long now…It finally turned up and it was not good at all,and should of gone back.We tried to get drinks at the table,but were not able to do ,so you have to go to the bar and order a drink and point to your table in the hope they will bring it over,but you’re better off just taking it yourself. We have been here once before and it was lovely ,but not any more and we won’t be returning,it has gone seriously down hill.The couple on the table behind us sent one meal back as it was not edible,so his wife ate alone while he sat there waiting.The couple to our left had to send their drinks back as they were as flat as ours.A what should of been a great anniversary evening was just rubbish all around,if you’re thinking of eating here,think again seriously about going somewhere else,it’s an absolute waste of your time and money.No doubt they will claim it was a busy evening blah blah blah,but there are over 30 tables in there and only 14 were occupied,so no excuses there ! On the plus side we got a 20 % “ discount “ on our over sized bill…for the “ long wait to cook our dinner” You can eat here and take your chances ,but you’ve been warned what to expect, so,it’s up to you, for us personally,never again, an absolutely awful experience. It’s both astonishing and a shame how a once very good restaurant can go downhill so fast and no one seems to care about it….

Mouldy bread rolls, red tinged cider and long wait for food. Some food was good, but you can’t serve mouldy bread to a pregnant women! Other tables also sent food back. Might try again.

We had the Sunday roast, which was very good. Especially the roast beef, which was more like medallions.

We had a lovely time here, the food was great and we had amazing service from gerda the hostess/waitress which made our anniversary very special. It had a positive and and relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend this place also the view you get from the restaurant looking out to the beach is beautiful.

We had breakfast this morning. I had English my husband steak and eggs. The coffee machine was playing up so the staff were struggling. We had tried to order two americanos. Whilst we were eating the lady taking orders behind the bar came with two coffees. Her service to us and the breakfasts were very good. Thanks for a lovely morning! We will come back.

Lovely place to eat and drink. Upstairs has lovely views. Downstairs bar is great or there is outside seating. Fast and friendly service.

As always food offer was excellent as was service.

Went for an afternoon tea for a friends baby shower. Service was slow, and the restaurant over charged and mishandled deposits, which dampened the mood. Food was decent, views were great but make sure you check the bill, better for small groups.

Great food, lovely view and atmosphere l.

Portions have shrunk massively since our last visit. This especially is felt when you order the sourdough bread and mushroom starter. It now feels like the portions are nowhere near worth the cost. £7.50 for a single slice of paper thin bread with half a mushroom? For the third time in a row we have left feeling hungry after having a starter and main, which was never the case before. During our last visit my steak was overcooked and the two tomatoes were so burned and covered in a thick layer of burnt food from other grilled dishes that it wasn't even possible to eat them. Moreover, the waiting staff wanted to charge us for the soup, which they didn't have and was included in the bill. This wouldn't normally be an issue as mistakes happen, however, this is the third time this has happened to us in the last year. Must check the bill at all times. Service like that doesn't deserve a single tip. I was a fan of this place but feel like it has gone down the hill so much that I won't be recommending it to anyone.

Claire the waitress is absolutely lovely, so welcoming, and chatty, made us feel so welcome. Food lovely well worth the money - Happy New Year xx

Nice place, only popped in for a drink

Our table was booked for 2.30 but we weren't seen until 3.15 the service was very slow which had the food been great (as it was one of the most important days of the year)we wouldn't have minded but it wasn't, I might add this was the first and now the last time we'll be trusting someone else to cook such an important meal for us the food was cold which wasn't surprising as the carrots were stone cold as were the potatoes, the sprouts were uncooked and shredded, Brockley just warm and hard even the gravy was cold and hardly any on our plates, my granddaughter was told that she was having a Christmas tree choc ice for dessert well that was a magnum ice cream to be honest we have been he on previous occasions and the food has been fine, what a day to mess up. Over all VERY disappointed.

A lovely restaurant by the Pier serving French style cuisine. The service was very good and it has a lovely atmosphere. We had the Chicken Normandy and the Salmon fishcake. Both were really tasty. I was a little confused why the chicken Normandy only came with a tip of a sausage on top of the potato dauphinoise when the menu said a Toulouse sausage. Otherwise excellent.

Me and my partner had a lovely meal here tonight with our 2 children. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was enjoyed by all. Good, friendly service, will definitely return.

Worst meal we’ve ever had. Waiter was sound. Edit: The Papaya salad had one piece of Papaya cut in half and one piece of white bread. That’s meant to be the special. The fish cake didn’t taste of fish and the salad that came with it had a horrible dressing on. Steak Frites was average at best. Shame as the staff were very friendly and must be unaware of the food that was being presented.

Food was great, despite the order being wrong. The service however was lacking which let it down, little things like having to ask for cutlery, and one staff member being in a constant rush despite there being very few customers in.

Popped in on Saturday to have breakfast with friends. Beautifully cooked full English breakfast, service was great very friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit can't recommend it enough!🍳

Not the best experience. We were looking forward to this meal as we had family visiting but they definitely need some help in the kitchen. The meals didn't turn up at the same time and when the fish cake salad did turn up the fishcake was very underdone and tasted odd. The pork medallions were overcooked and the two small slices I received didn't feel like a main meal. The service was good though and the manager agreed to take the salad off the bill.

A great evening out and excellent food. Really good service. If you get a window seat you will have a great sea view.

Delicious food and most of the servers were great, however, one of them absolutely reeked of smoke, which was very off putting. The atmosphere was relaxed but sparse , but then it was lunchtime and we booked early. Just make sure that if you get a Groupon (which don't seem to be as good of a deal as they used to be, so check the deal against the usual price as well), that it is accepted at the Weston branch, as they only seem to accept the cream tea Groupon and not the main meal deal one.

Went there for Sunday dinner, one of the best Sunday roast dinners I have ever had everything was hot and very tasty.

We enjoyed our time here. The food was good and the service was excellent in a very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a lovely dinner out, our waiter was very kind and friendly throughout our meal which made our evening feel very special. We recommend the strawberries and cream martini!

We booked for a suprise 40th for my daughter and family. To say they accommodated us was an understatement....the staff were amazing, looked after us so well. Especially after loads of emails with things being changed all the time. Loved the place as never been before. Just brilliant all round. Thank you clare and team.

Stopped for a coffee and cake. Sat outside. Only had 2 cakes to choose from .the raspberrie and white chocolate sponge was very nice. Coffee was ok.

Was looking forward to a special meal but unfortunately we were not impressed I had pork medallions not sure what cut of pork it was? Very thin very dry slices that was clearly reheated under a grill not freshly cooked very disappointed and the sauce different all I could taste was garlic, spent the night in the bathroom, My husbands had sea bass, no tomatoes no new potatoes just a mountain of olives which he doesn't like. Not worth the money, in weston for five days but will not be returning here.

enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal. WsM has an improved restaurant offering, but so many options are closed on a Sunday. Bistrot Pierre was open and despite it looking a bit worse for wear on the bar terrace with more empty glasses than customers, once we were upstairs it was better. All tables were properly cleaned and laid up. Waiting staff were friendly and mostly alert, even if they did need to discuss things amongst themselves a little bit too long. Lots of food options and specials and deals but still I missed the Sunday roast menu. The gambas were tasty, spicy and a good portion size. The medallions of pork was similarly tasty, with a lovely honey mustard glaze, but the promise of Morteau sausage missing, or as the waiter said "hiding underneath", hmmm. £7 kids steak and chips a good deal, even better when it's only £1. Will choose this place again.

We ate here Sat 31st Aug 24, we were treated by our friendly waiter upstairs and seated. Welcomed with a smile, is always nice to see. We ordered our drinks, Non alcoholic larger and a Pimms and lemonade. Upon ordering our food, ai notified our waiter about my soya allergy. Right away he grabbed the manager/supervisor, he told me that it was not a problem and I ordered what I wanted, they checked all the ingredients of my dishes to ensure it was OK for me to eat. We both had Mushroom Soup with rustic sourdough toast. This was the best mushroom soup I've tried, flavours were beautiful and every mouthful was a delight. For our mains we both had beef bourguigon, with vegetables and creamy mash. Again beautiful flavours, well presented, beef melted in the mouth. Then for dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream and my Grandpa had the Cherry perfiterole and he loved it ! This Bistro is a favorite for my gramps, Mr James and was keen to take me. I have to agree this is the best place to have a nice quality, flavoursome meal with a lovely atmosphere, pricing was very good too. Our waiter was excellent, sadly I didn't get his name but we were impressed. I will be back again !

It was a quiet night and service was excellent. The food was of great standard. Wine prices a bit high but an enjoyable evening with lovely views over the pier and seafront.

A very lovely place for a quick drink and a nice view on a hot day but practice your French before going in as everything is in that language. A little pricey for wat it was.

I Visited weston last week with family and had to write a review as I was served by two amazing young people on the bar of Pierre (believe names were olly and sara). They advised me of what wine would suit best and where so enthusiastic. I’ve not always had the best experience with young workers in hospitality, so honestly was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be returning on our next trip as the bar itself had a lovely atmosphere.

Always found service on the slow side here, but went in for a drink and after the first one I went to get another to find the only barman making a coffee. After 5 mins of him thinking he was a world famous barista, swirling every bit of the process I gave up and went somewhere that wanted me in there bar!

Ordered a cappuccino coffee. It was undrinkable. It was so weak. I've never tasted a coffee like that before.

Everything was lovely only gave a four star for the food because the beef bourguignon could have done with some more meat in it for the price. The Polish waiter was great at his job. Watch out for the service charge on the bill.

Staff were nice, helpful and friendly. Had the valentines day menu on our first visit. Starters and pudding were lovely on that visit. The main course I had was there special 27 years Beef bourguignon was not great. The sauce was lovely, the beef overcooked and some of it really hard, the mash tasted like it came from a Tesco chilled tray ready meal,was tasteless and the carrots were bland also. Really dissapointed and feel let down as the meal cost over £80.00. Be careful what you order is what I would say. Our second visit on Sat 10th Aug was much better. Our server Danny was lovely and attentive. Our starters were OK but far too expensive for what you actually got. The bread needs to be cut all the way through and you need more of the Olives and Chorizo sausages. Olive oils etc need to be bought out when serving starters along with small plates. All our main meals were great. X3 King prawn linguine and Honey Pork. Lovely sauces and ingrediants. Much better on this our second visit I am glad to say.

Food was ok but the greens from supermarket pack lets all the plate down. Im sure its not that hard to keep salad leaves in water bowl to make it look fresh and vibrant and not all dry sad and wrinkly.

A really nice venue with great views, food was good. Staff were very friendly. The only reason that I gave a 2 for service wasn't the waiting staff but the kitchen who were very slow, as it was a lunchtime and not at all busy and especially as we had a 5 and a 2 year old with us.

Very disappointed,no Sunday dinners left,very little choice telling us after we brought drinks .Waited 50 minutes after ordering to get food when the place wasn't busy.Half a chicken was not cooked enough pink chicken still stuck to the bone.Relunctantly paid bill and complained to waitress about our experience which really the chef should have been told.I know they had been busy in the day but noway you should serve food like that at any time disgusting.

Have visited here many times with friends. This time, I took my family. Food ,cocktails excellent but I don't get what's going on with the service? Each time same thing, walk in loads of vacant tables but they make you wait while they check their system, then minutes later seat you somewhere? Then asked many times if ready to order. Once taken its ages before drinks arrive, had to ask. Then take food order and again is same thing,what is going on ? If you are short staffed then don't open, honestly if the food wasn't good I would go elsewhere but it's fantastic 👌. I just hope they sort things out and can say we were not the only ones complaining.

Visited on a Thursday, plenty of nearby parking available and free after 6pm in some locations. No parking at the restaurant itself. Very nicely decorated and clean. You can sit downstairs for bar food or upstairs for the main restaurant, a huge bonus upstairs, weather permitting, you can sit outside on a beautiful veranda overlooking the beach. Good choice of food that changes quite regularly from what I understand. For starters I ordered FRITÔT DE BRIE Deep-fried Brie with dressed leaves and our homemade plum chutney , this was superbly presented and was lovely, however for some reason one of my pieces of Brie was tiny. ( you get three pieces ) my partners was fine, so I bit the bullet and carried on. For mains I decided on the sirloin steak, medium rare. Presentation was amazing and it looked beautifully cooked, however on getting into the steak it was blue !! Very very undercooked. I informed staff who immediately took it away, and after short while they informed me they were going to completely redo the meal. Whilst this was good it meant my partner has finished by the time my newly and beautifully cooked steak arrived. For deserts I went for POT AU CHOCOLAT, A rich chocolate mousse with a raspberry coulis layer, fresh raspberries and a sablé biscuit. Again presentation was superb, the mousse was incredibly rich and flavourful. The staff were very professional and polite, very attentive and helpful. I would recommend a visit, despite the issues I had. Location and staff made up for the issues. I would definitely book a table as it was very busy, ask for a table with a sea view if you can, and if you time the weather right ask to be sat outside on tbe veranda.

We went into the Bistrot Pierre as we were meeting a little boy that we would be looking after later in August and wanted a hot drink. Everywhere else we had tried would not let us take Freddie our dog in.However they were very accomadating and even had water and treats for Freddie

My husband and I came out to dinner. On arrival, the area downstairs smelt of stale beer and unhygienic. We were shown to a table (we had booked) by a waiter who didn't wait to seat us or explain the menu . After a long wait, we ordered our drinks.....and then the meal!!! I ordered 'grilled asparagus,' which was limp and overcooked and stringy. It was disgusting. Thankfully, my husband's calamari was okay. We both ordered steak frites - one pink and one well done. Another very long wait and two pink steaks arrived! We sent them back for the waiter to return in seconds with the correct order, but the steaks were cold. The manager asked how our meal was, and defended the steak by saying it's hard to keep a thin steak hot!!! We know our food well and know a poor meal when we are served one. Unfortunately, not a place we will be returning to.

The food was great 👍🏼 except that waiter that day serving us keep following up when to dish out our plates even we still having our drinks to finish. I felt in a rush to finish and leave while enjoying Thier beautifull ambience. But nevertheless it's nice to chill with some ciders during sunset in the middle of town.

Extremely small portions of food. 7oz fillet was more like 4oz and came with salad, (no veg) which was limp and brown. Salmon fillet was tiny and came without the edamame beans or asparagus as stated on the menu. We never complain about food, however on this occasion we felt the need to.

We came with our company to have a meal booked for 730 heard they will be shutting thr kitchen soon so we went upstairs to start ordering. Somethink we didn't wont to hear. The service was a bit bland we were all happy and chatty and the lady could of thrown in a smile or somethink. Service was slow took a whille for any of it to come through. The food was stunning though so that was the best. The manager was happy 😊 We did spend quite a lot of money in there as there was 14 of us .
