I got scammed by the pool table and I was very disappointed by the service and never got my money back I wouldn't recomend yo go there for anything

This sports club was used for my daughters evening reception for her wedding, The staff could not have been more helpful, all were friendly and keen to make this evening a lovely party The food was served on time, and was very tasty ,it was all nice and hot and served in an easily accessible area for the 120 guests Bar prices were very reasonable and efficiently served which considering the amount of guests there was never long queues at the bar. All in all they provided a very good and well staffed venue for this reception

Attended a business networking event, a vegan breakfast having been booked well in advance and reconfirmed by the event organiser with the venue numerous times including the day before. Nothing had been made, I ended up with poorly cooked mushrooms, uncooked tomato’s, luke warm beans, a hash brown and a peice of stale bread. In fact these were just ingredients from the main breakfast buffet. Kitchen and didn’t seem to know what a vegan diet was and there was no apology, customer service was a best poor/unfriendly. Stay well clear of this place if you’re a vegan

Played football here as the away team. Turned up to find our pitch waterlogged. Staff member came out with a few brooms which we had to try and brush the water off ourselves. Staff hadn't even checked the state of the pitches so they could either try and make them playable or call the teams to call the match off. Then!!! They make the football teams get changed in rotten, stinking, smashed up kind of porta cabins that were standing on a muddy bog. So this was trodden in everywhere inside. The changing rooms were freezing with a kind of heater hanging off the wall. Absolute disgrace and health and safety nightmare. Sort it out management. Or close the pitches for good.

It’s all good .Lots to do and see .Enjoy the pitches and 3G .The gym is exceedingly good and you will love it .

Decisión de último minuto para asistir a disco, y me alegro de que nyeve porque nos lo pasamos genial, fácil de aparcar, en un bonito edificio club deportivo, un área de bar muy acogedor y una decoración agradable. Habitación de buen tamaño para disco, el equipo en el pequeño escenario, DJ, una vez a su paso dieron la fiesta y trabajó duro. Árbol de Navidad y luces bastante, galletas saladas, sopladores y fiesta en la mesa, buffet poppers muy bueno, un montón de carnes, pasta, quiches, ensaladas, pan y mucho más además de dos postres. Todo muy agradable, sabroso y sugerente y una buena relación calidad-precio, como la admisión de la noche era sólo 10 libras, bebidas de precio sobre el mismo como los precios normales de pub, no superior. Zona restaurante parecía muy bonito - nunca he comido allí, podría valer la pena probar, esta fue nuestra primera visita. Sin duda un buen lugar para un evento como este, o una boda, conferencias o fiestas infantiles. Buenas tardes.

Had a lovely meal was visiting family who are members at the club & couldn't recommend it more. Food was excellent & the puddings were handmade

I appreciate that these things happen and if someone is sick then they are unable to work. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop 2 hungry children from wanting food. We had brought snacks but not enough....Anyway it was very clean and tidy. It was also very quiet but nice filter coffee or machine drinks available. Very good selection of bar drinks at good prices. The toilets were very clean and well stocked. Reception staff seemed friendly. We came for an event. Hopefully, chef will be ok next year!

Was at BayPoint for a fencing tournement, after travellng for hours and arrivng late Sunday morning was looking forward to a breakfast or brunch. However on arrival was informed that kitchens were closed, and only drinks were available. Thankfully there was subway branch nearby to satisfy hunger.

we had our annual xmas party on Friday 18th I have to say ive ben going to these events for the past 4 years and each year has got worse there wasent many people in the place and the food was poor a prawn starter that was so hard and dry a bread roll that was rock hard a small main course and a small xmas pudding not worth £30,00 I don't know why this place is so dead other years the place has been packed out unless things change I cant see there will be a 2016 xmas party night its a shame as this could be a great venue.

I use the gym ,fab,equipment spotlessly clean as are the ladies changing rooms and steam room etc. what a shame this is not a viable concern .a lot of hard work has gone into this. Attended a function last week which included a bar b que ...food was excellant apart from tasteless burgers. Service as a buffet efficient and plenty of staff in attendance for clearing away. Plenty of parking ideal for any functions....hope someone keeps it going. Good luck

FAB food and staff a must go, the steak and Chips was done exactly how I asked for it to be done, what a FAB meal

We booked the dance hall for a party with the ceilidh band 'Bowstring' . The staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The band ate in the restaurant and they were extremely impressed with their meals.

3 of us ate here and we were all surprised by the choice on the limited menu, all the food was cooked well. Very informal dining as part of a health club.

We had an excellent meal at Baypoint, food was served quickly ,was hot and very tasty. Staff were very professional and cheerful. All in all a great time was had by all. Would definitely return.

Fantastic attention to our needs and willingness to adapt the environment. Lovely food and plenty of it. Attentive and friendly staff. Great venue for car parking. Prompt responses to my emails. 100% would book again.

We ordered 2 Pizzas from the specials board, when they arrived one was still cold with unmelted cheese in the middle, the other had Pineapple chunks that had gone off. The waitress was very good and replaced the pizzas and refunded the cost of one of the pizzas. Despite the replacements being hot, they were still a poor imitation of pizza; a dry, mass produced bass, with a thick layer of tomato puree and cheap cheese. We wouldn't recommend and won't be returning for a long while.

3 of us ordered fish and chips off the specials board. When it arrived it wasn't cooked enough. They took the fish back and when it came back out of the kitchen it was a lot better. Good prices.

Have eaten here a few times now, fantastic healthy food that still tastes good, Mushroom Stroganoff was beautiful !

Attached to my gym, the Bistro has a good selection of food from it's menu..it has recently launched an eat-in/take-away service on eight different healthy options..veggie, chicken, beef, couscous etc..only £5 each..#lovely..A perfect way to chill after a work out..better still, put your order in pre gym, and collect it when you leave..#simples...

Baypoint not only has a great gym facilities they are open to the general public to eat and drink in their Bistro. We have had breakfast, lunch and last night an valentines evening meal...all I can say is " lovely" the staff are friendly and the meal tasty and very reasonable in price. It's a relaxing atmosphere with comfy seating in the bar area and a clean modern dining area...well worth a visit,they have a healthy eating menu and ordinary bar/restaurant menu plus pizza, steak and curry nights...I've yet to try their roasts :)

Many moons ago, this site was the Pfizer Sports & Social Club. Play tennis for my club I came here, was thoroughly thrashed, and went home rather disgruntled!Early in 2013, my wife and her girl-friend came here for a special Psychic Evening, and was impressed. The site had been taken over, totally changed, and is now a sports and fitness club, special events centre, has an impressive bar and restaurant area: and is Open to the Public. The last point being why we took my ageing in-laws (who live nearby) for lunch.Parking in Disabled Space right by front door, we entered and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff in Reception. Along corridor and turned left into large open area having nice bar, with impressive and varied seating areas. Great Ambiance.We'd hardly sat down before more friendly and helpful staff arrived. The menu choices were excellent: whether one wanted a coffee, half a pint, a glass of wine, a snack, a sandwich, a set meal, or an A La Carte Menu, there was something for everyone. We enjoyed the experience so much we have returned five or six times in 2013. Super food - excellent value - and staff that all want to please.So far, we have been once this year - but we'll be back!!!

Used the Bistro both for meals and just for a couple of drinks.The service is very good and friendly and the meals have been great.

My wife and daughter have just become members of the gym. We have since eaten 3 times in the restaurant and each time have enjoyed the food. We first visited to eat on a Thursday evening which is steak night, 2 steaks for a tenner, great value and steaks, cooked on a griddle. We have since had the Sunday roast which changes weekly and tonight the Japanese taster menu for a fiver, excellent value. We are now going to book the Mediterranean evening and Greek evening for a tenner. Get down there you will enjoy.

We visited Bay Point with friends and had a lovely lunch. The food was very good and the staff were excellent.

Having recently become members of Baypoint Leisure, we decided to try the Bistro one Saturday evening. Very impressed with service, standard and presentation of food - had the steak which was superb. Great value for money so will certainly be back again soon. Would certainly recommend to others.

This was our first visit at the new BayPoint Club which was formerly Pfizers Social Club. The bar area has an informal seating arrangement which is comfortable and great for a business meeting. We had actually hired their Banqueting Suite for a Charity Function which ran all day, and the light lunches went down very well with our invited guests. Having organised such an event we were exhausted once everyone had left and decided to try the Bistro for dinner. Being a Sunday they were serving a full roast meal, we opted for the Roast Beef and all the trimmings. When they brought over our steaming vegetables I thought there was more than enough for the two of us, but then they brought over a second dish of vegetables which was more than generous. As they had been dishing up Sunday Roasts all afternoon, I was a little concerned it may have been overheated, overcooked or just dry but no it was wonderful, really tasty and lovely and hot. The dessert was really nice to finish off the meal, we decided on the banoffee sundae.We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant. The service was good, and the girls serving were very attentive.I would be happy to come back with a group of friends, with family or for a romantic meal for two.
