Bistro 51 in Worthing

Well, what an experience, to actually be invited into the kitchen by the head chef to see where the ‘ magic happens ‘. Then to top that, to then be offered to help with dinner creation, given a free cooking lesson by one of the services top chefs, thank you so much, not charged for food either, does it get any better.

The chef served up a ‘posh’ chicken Kiev, layered with herbs and spices. Very soft chicken, will definitely go back with the reds again

Made a last minute reservation, and was accomodated well! A great selection of locally sourced sausages, mixed mash (white and sweet potato) accompanied by a home made gravy, a great twist on an old classic. Very generous portions too. Being ever grateful for the last minute booking, I bought a round of pudding (Viennetta)

Had a booking with Blue for a Friday night. Was very disappointed when I arrived to find that the kitchen was closed due to filming an episode of the Undateables. Had a takeaway curry instead.
