Made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived by the lady who greeted us. Excellent service from Jakob and Jack. Efficient and friendly. Chicken very tender and beef ragu full of flavour. Hope to revisit. (And have to say toilets were immaculate.) Thank you for a lovely evening.

I found too many tables very close to each other. Food was ordinary and didn't have a taste. Maybe chef had a bad day.

Have been for several family get together, 6 adults 2 children. The food is always good and the staff attentive and friendly, and work hard to accommodate a wheelchair. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. The kids menu has a good selection and there is often a seasonal menu along side the staples.

The starters could have been a bit hotter. Food was tasty though

Always get really great service in here. Staff are always so polite and helpful and Today especially Jakob was really helpful and went above and beyond. Great atmosphere, good for families and kids too.

Ordered via deliveroo. Bag was in a state, lids not on properly so food was out of the pots and in the actual bag, and when I rang the restaurant to find out where our desserts were because they were missing, I was told they couldn't be redelivered! Lazy, careless, and disappointing. Food wasn't even worth the near £50 I spent.

We love this restaurant and we always come here, the food, service and atmosphere is better than any other restaurant. Great with kids. Staff are amazing with children too.

Have been here a numerous amount of times over the past few years, eaten pasta, pizza and various desserts. I thought to leave a review to let other people know what a delight it is here! The waiters/waitresses are always kind and have never gotten an order wrong I have been for birthdays, with family AND just with friends. The food is always delicious, the decorations are also very welcoming, atmospheric and beautiful, so it doesnt feel dead inside. I highly recommend coming here with someone of any age if you're in town and want a nice meal. Definitely coming back at some point. Also, the wait is never ridiculously long.

Had an incredible meal at Ask. Jacob was incredibly attentive as we were sat near the bar. Our waitress Shea was delightful letting us know about all the new vegan food available.

Jakob was a great host and gave us a surprise birthday celebration for the table which made the birthday boy very happy, he will cherish the memory forever.

Food was mediocre, calamari very greasy, lasagne burnt on top, sea bass overcooked with bits of potato, mushrooms and sea bass stuck to side of plate. Risotto was ok could of had more prawns.

Great seasonal additions to the menu. Service was quick and attentive. Extra points for the desserts having the option of mini versions. We were served by Joss and Jacob who accommodated for a large table of 7.

Jake and Josh were the hostesses with the mostesses! So friendly and went above and beyond. Josh was so attentive with my friends allergies and ensured she was completely catered for, double checking all the food and drinks to ensure she felt completely safe. Great evening and the food was spot on

We went to dinner with two families. Questions about allergies, which are normally asked after we settled at the table, started at the entrance and we were kept waiting. They took away the lemonade glasses, which they normally brought for tasting, without filling them. Then they brought it accordingly. My seafood tagliatelle was very cold, served with lots of fingerprints and dirty plates. Pasta was tasteless and not special. It was no tastier than the £1 pasta that you can buy from the supermarket. Even seafood was counted by the grain and I paid £16.35 for such a plate…ı used to go to this restaurant before but it wasn't like this. It is so disappointed.

Wonderful welcome from Jakob and Emma, who were helpful, cheerful, and efficient. It was my birthday and they so sweetly surprised me with singing (and very well, too!) Happy Birthday, but Emma even managed to pop a lit candle on my delicious raspberry sorbet. There were three of us, we all had a great meal, and will be back lots more times. Thank you, Jakob and Emma!

A fun Christmas soiree with uni lot! We were warmly welcome from the get go. The tables were beautifully decorated and we each got some Christmas glasses to wear! Our waitress was extremely attentive the whole night. The relaxing ambience was lush! The Christmas menu was great and it was really good value for money. I got 3 courses with a large glass of wine for £47! By the way the warm chocolate brownie was insane! 🤤

It was a really relaxing and enjoyable experience I had on Saturday night. The service was excellent I didn't feel rushed but when I ordered food it was served within 15 minutes which I think is excellent for a party of 6 on a Saturday evening. Keep up the good work I will definitely be back.

Incredible place. Been coming here for years and love the food and the atmosphere. Worthing is lucky to have such a place. Great service and very friendly staff.

Tucked away down a pedestrian street Ask Italian is an older building with a nice character. The service was spot on and our meals were delicious we considered the drinks to be rather overpriced

We were visiting Worthing and pop into Ask Italian for an unplanned impromptu lunch. We were pleasantly surprised all round. There was a good choice on the menu andour meals were excellent served quickly and hot. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Only slight negative was we thought the drinks were expensive. If we are in the area again we would not hesitate to return here

We have been here before and the experience was pretty good, but on this occasions less so. The lasagne I had was a bit dried up but was okay, however the chicken lasagne my wife had was not so good. The menu says it includes peppers and is spicy, it does not however say that one of the main ingredients seems to be chili which made it very hot, and not what was expected. The service was quite good and the biscoff cheesecake desert was very good.

The food is bland and expensive will never be eating here again. The chicken in breadcrumbs was like eating cardboard the broccoli wasn’t cooked the roasted new potatoes were soggy and tasteless and finally the so called mushroom sauce was revolting. Will not be going here again

Best of the Italian chains around. Service is always good & waiting time isn't long. 2 for 1 with a Taste card makes it a cheap dinner.

Our pizzas were delicious and I can't recommend too highly the Biscoff cheesecake! Although the restaurant was busy, we had excellent friendly service. Our first time eating at Ask, but we'll definitely be back for more!

Not usually one to complain but I have to admit my partner and I were very disappointed in our visit. We booked in advance and were seated fairly quickly which was good, though we were ignored for about 25 minutes and watched people who came in after us be served before us, tried to get the attention of x2 waitresses but seemed as though they were purposely ignoring us, had to go inside to ask that someone comes to our table. I then ordered the Bruschetta to start, when it arrived at the table i was shocked at how it looked, definitely not like any Bruschetta i’ve ever had before, looked like 2 pieces of Kingsmill bread with a tin of chopped tomatoes dumped on top. To add the taste was absolutely revolting and the bread was completely soggy, perfect to feed to the Seagulls. It was clearly not freshly made, and must have just been sat around for when someone ordered it (unfortunately me). We then received pasta mains, which were fine but nothing special either, but they did forget to add our side of garlic bread to the order, and again we had to go inside and ask for it.. Overall we were so disappointed. I remember coming here years ago and never having a problem, clearly things have gone downhill. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend anyone going here, as there are plenty of lovely authentic Italian eateries in the area to go to instead!

We had a great lunch at Ask Worthing today. From start to finish, great food and service, especially from our waiter Ollie, who looked after us very well, keeping us up to date with any delays etc. Not that there were any to mention! Special mention to the trio of desserts - delicious and a great way to end our meal, one portion did the pair of us. 😊

We booked a table for my daughters 16th. The service was awful, really rude waitress was impatient rushing us to make a decision on our meals, tried to clear the table before we had finished our food. Actually said “what do you want?” And was argumentative! The food was awful, I had asparagus Parma carbonara which was bland and dry, my husbands ricotta ravioli was disgusting!! Grainy and bland, daughters boyfriends calzone was split open and dry, no side salad it looked very sad. My son had the kids menu, veggie fingers and bread starter looked like it had been sat out for days dry and unappetising. My son didn’t eat his main, which was chicken and chips, it looked awful, frozen fried chips and shrivelled up peas. We had a calamari starter was supposed to be a large portion and was measly. Our meal cost £125!!!!! If it weren’t for it being my daughter’s birthday and my husband talking me down I would have complained and refused to pay! And I have never felt that strongly after eating a meal but I felt completely ripped off!!!!! Also I went the the toilet and they were filthy! Toilet roll all over the floor and defo hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I will NEVER go there again and will not recommend to anyone. If I could give No stars I would. Horrible experience ruined my daughters birthday meal.

I took my daughter and her 3 friends here.. £91 pounds later I came home in shock.just wanted to treat them as it was my daughters birthday.. well I wouldn't mind paying that much but the quality of food was just appalling for what I had to pay!! This is the second time I've been here and the second time I've been totally disappointed.. never again.. We had 4 glasses of pink lemonade 2 portions of plan bough balls with a side of garlic and margarine (yuck) 4 spaghetti la pomadomo it looked like tinned tomatoes not fresh cherry all the girl portions weren't the same in size nothing like the pictures on the web site! I had a glass of wine and some calamari.. bloody place it totally ruined my day especially knowing I could go over the road to g lite and get a fantastic meal for £100.. just don't bother it's another over priced chain. I feel sorry for the staff I'd be embarrassed serving customers with that food and charging those ridiculous prices.
