Biscuiteers Icing Cafe Belgravia in City of London, Westminster

An adorable little stop in Belgravia. We had tea and pastries here. Their flagship cookies are pricey, but pretty and delicious. They'd make great gifts. If I'm ever back here, I'd be down to stop for their afternoon tea service or try one of their cooking decorating workshops.

Festive Afternoon tea was terrible. Sandwiches were tiny, very little filling and stale. A very strange scone recipe created an unrecognisable scone. I ate a quarter and gave up. Cakes had been out ages and were just not nice. Even the famous biscuit was hard and over sweet. For £96, it was really just a waste. Service was also terrible. Priority was a largetable of children doing icing. Fine, but I was spending my money too. I’ve written to complain to them but they’ve ignored me. Cannot recommend.

We booked an afternoon tea and an icing biscuits session. The cafe is quite small and were seated on a small table opposite the serving desk. The afternoon tea was pleasant - the sandwiches were OK but a bit dry as they had been kept in the fridge. The scones and cakes were lovely though - some of the best cakes I have tasted in ages! We had to ask for tea re-fills and they used the same teabags. This really annoys me as the tea isn't great second squeeze around! We had an icing session afterwards which was great fun! I don't think we will be invited back to ice the biscuits for the shelves anytime soon. Really cute cafe in a great location. Good value for money.
