Overpriced and bland....also beware they don't take card cash only or bank transfer....I mean iv had better elsewhere and cheaper ...suppose u paying for the postcode..also no complementary prawn crackers..

Std chinese takeaway, seems expensive but as we don't normally go to takeaways they all might be.

Food was lovely, especially liked the Singapore chow mein. Good spot an delivers quickly in wetherby!

Salt and pepper chicken like a chicken burger Sliced up overcooked dried out and too many chillies frozen chips not fresh potatoes again overcooked not worth the money I've just paid you avoid at all costs

I always ordered from here and since moving to Leeds we havnt had one in ages, decided to drive over and wish we hadn’t of bothered, they must have a new chef as not one thing was nice the special fried rice was just fried rice no meat at all the salt and pepper ribs was so overcooked they was burnt and couldn’t eat them and the curry sauce was watery and very very sweet. Prawn toast was burn with no flavour other than burnt. Very disappointed use to be the best Chinese around Boston spa.

Ordered 3 beef curry 2 chips and 1 rice and was extremely disappointed. When pay close to £8 would expect more the 5 piece's of beef and the curry sauce looked tasty but it was completely bland didn't even taste of curry. honestly best part of the meal was the chips which was an extra £3. So close to £12pp for something that ended up in the bin. If they served this in China they would be kick in to the sea.

We have used Birds nest for many years and been very happy. Unfortunately this week when ordering our usual meals the price of our order has increased by nearly £10. When we checked the menu online and compared this to our menu we found some dishes had increased by more than 50%. When I rang and questioned this I was told prices went up in May. I cant understand how it has suddenly gone up again since last week. Unfortunately due to this vast increase we will no longer be using Birds nest.

Lovely food and good sized portions. Very popular takeaway so can sometimes wait to get through when ordering by telephone but it is always ready for pick up at the designated time.

Most moist and hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient and helpful❤️✝️

We ordered a takeaway at 7.30 which didn't get delivered until 9.15 which was over 40 mins from when were expecting it at 8.30. Half the food was cold and the crisp beef was 20% beef and 80% crisp with no flavour. Some of the food is intermittently good but hasnt been the best recently. When we rang the takeaway to tell them both these things,the woman started off apologising yet when we said they food was cold, she had the audacity to laugh down the phone offering no sincere apology. For a local business this is shocking! We won't be ordering again.

Decent takeaway - always friendly and fast service! Worth travelling to if you otherwise have to go to Wetherby for a Chinese.

Will never use them again. Chicken foo young Was Nothing like it. Just chicken pieces.not sure what was covered in. But certainly wasn't a ( omelette)

This is my 2nd time trying the aptly named, Birds Nest. 1st time was OK I suppose, but 2nd time certainly was not a charm. Not sure exactly how you can get Chow Mein wrong but boy they did. Large portions of my noodles were yet to be hydrated (just like a birds nest), and if these vegetables were ever fresh, it certainly wasn't before these guys cooked them. Ordered crispy chicken and got the normal. The only saving grace is that I added pork and that was the only bit with any flavour.

Having used Birds nest for many years after tonight I will not be using again Food cold , missing ingredients and hardly anything plus a 2 hr 40 mins and a very rude delivery man . I will not be using them again

I get when business are busy but 2hrs wait only to be greated to a bag leaking with sauce and no explanation safe to say I definitely won't be ordering from there ever

Loyal customer for over 20 years…care and quality has gone vastly down for the current prices. Even just chips and gravy tonight was as much as getting the dishes separately…but half as much portion of barely cooked chips swimming in gravy/water that went everywhere. Ego of the owners has ruined this place.

Saturday Night Takeaway ( no, not Ant & Dec) the real deal at Birds Nest Boston Spa. Best Chinese takeaway for miles around, very, very busy, great menu selection, great value for money, great flavour & taste. Cannot fault it in any way. Can recommend the Birds Nest Special in curry sauce, also Birds Nest Special Red Thai Curry, egg fried rice, prawn crackers, all for under £20. Result. Thanks, we will be back

Best spare ribs I’ve tasted cooked to perfection melt in the mouth loads of meat! The special chow mein was equally good very impressed! Keep it up !

Guy who answers the phone and does the til is very rude also no matter how much you spend you never get given complimentary prawn crackers which is odd to me 🤣 food is ok

First takeaway in moths, Not disappointed

I looked at the Google reviews and gave this take away a go! I have to say I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and the collection time was not long at all. I will definitely be getting the food again from here. Really nice!☺️

Absolutely shocking!! Ordered food for delivery, was informed 45 -60 minutes for delivery. After 1hr 15 I decided to chase up my takeaway only to be told it would be another 45 - 60 minutes.

It's been a long time since I pick up my takeaway but yhey have finally sorted out the long waiting time you had to experience, it took no time a tail , very good 👍 Pick it up has the delivery charge is getting expensive, live in Boston less than 5mins drive and it cost £3.50 to delvier

Always a long wait; male staff aren't the nicest; vegetarian food came with prawns; now the prices have gone up you really don't get your money's worth Not going back

I always take google reviews of takeaways with a pinch of salt, mostly because I tend to find that people are generally more likely to leave a review to complain rather than compliment. Anyway, we’ve had 2 takeaways from the Birds Nest recently and both times, we have been very happy. Service, delivery and food has all been great and there is nothing we could complain about if we wanted to. I’m glad I ignored the reviews and tried it myself as we will definitely be back

Very nice Chinese takeaway food.

Everything was hot and it was the best curry I’ve had for some time.

Usually good but past couple times been very poor! My and my partner ordered special in o.k sauce and special in sweet n sour. Batter was doughy and meat inside was tough as anything! Took a good 2 mins to chew through 1 bit!

Ordered Meat Spring Rolls, no meat!,tasteless, Shanghai Beef, beef overcooked and sauce was gelatinous and oversweet,Fried mushrooms,not bad but gelatinous sauce again,Deep fried onion rings were revolting, thick doughy batter, undercooked, finally chips which were cold. Cost £19.90! Threw most of the meal away. Ordered to collect at 5.30pm not ready until 5.50pm. Has this takeaway changed hands? Always been good until now, won't be returning. Possibly the worst food I have ever eaten.

Gets busy at the takeaway and phone , but worth the wait . Not been disappointed with the food we've had.

Very poor, food was luke warm, veg spring rolls had nothing in them, the sweet and sour chicken balls doughy and undercooked, sweet and sour sauce couldn't be poured out of the container as it was a thick gelatinous blob... disgusting! Do not recommend.

Food normally nice and hot ,this order cold when arrived ,the spring rolls Iceland specials and nothing in them ,i rang up to complain was told it not there problem, don't do refunds ,in the end after 2 phone calls one where the lovely rude man on phone put phone down on me ,I got a new meal nearly 3;hours after I 1st placed the order and told I was banned because I made a complaint and he did not like it .

Absolutely horrible food ! This place is possibly the worst Chinese around I ordered dinner and 2 items where not in the order when asked about it the man became very aggressive sswearing and said he didnt understood what I meant with my order which I find hard to believe as it's a basic order I was charged the same even without the 2 items The other fried rice was dry Chicken was obviously old and recooked it was just awful from start to finish

Very poor quality. Half of the crunchy beef was clearly pre-cooked yesterday and rock hard. Beef inside was almost invisible. Sauce was just a sickly thick vinegar. Disgraceful. Would have given nil stars if possible. Not the first time I’ve had a poor meal from here but will be the last.

Poor food. Chicken fried rice had a bad taste - don't know how it can be done wrong. Tasted like everything was cooked in a fish oil. Definitely don't recommend.

Recently the meals here have deteriorated. Pork fried rice far too salty and other dishes poor. I would avoid if possible now.

Awful , gone down hill big time I had a hair in my food and when asked about it said he didn't have time to change my food , which was unhelpful When I then said well can I have some money back for the dish he became rude and was just all together not very nice Wouldn't go here again
