I've been eating birds food for years,never had a bad experience, food is always top notch,and the the staff are always pleasant

God I love a big fat sausage cob with all the trimmings from Birds 🐦 Washed it down with a cheese straw and elephants 🐘 foot.......nom nom nom!

Brilliant service, I live closer to the Oakwood branch but use the Nottingham road store cause the staff are so lovely, they go the extra mile. If you want a certain sandwich making that’s unavailable they’ll do their best to make it for you fresh! Can’t beat these guys

They shut the coffee machine at 3.30pm today despite the advertised closure off the shop at 5pm, when queried they said shop shuts @ 4pm! Opening timing needs updating online, staff were bit rude. Why do they start cleaning the coffee machines 1hr before closing, surely this is not business sense as your loosing sales here!

We was in derby for a hospital visit so my son rang to ask if they could save him a pork pie we were quite late and the shop was getting ready to close but the staff was lovely and kind and said next time call them and they will save us anything those gals are a credit to birds thanks

Everyone knows how good Birds are, their produce always speaks for itself from the very top. The main reason I'm reviewing it is because of the whole package here. The service was so friendly and helpful it would brighten anyone's gloomy day. The shop itself is lovely, laid out well and makes you feel a bit nostalgic when you step in. Top marks. You should be proud.

Have grown up with Birds, never had to complain before, but bought 2 brown tuna and cucumber rolls, and 4 cheese scones today from Chaddesden shop today July 9th 2024, brown rolls certainly not as fresh as they should have been, and tuna filling really quite dry, certainly not up to Birds usual standard! The cheese scones unfortunately also not up to standard, in fact if it wasn't for a sprinkling of cheese on the top , they couldn't be classed as a cheese scones! Very disappointed! As lovely as Birds as a bakery has always been, it's also quite expensive, so pleased take note "God's Above" you will lose a lot of custom cutting corners like this!

The sausage roll appears to have shrunk by half and was stone cold. Not enjoyable.

Quick efficient staff inside store and speedy delivery when ordering. Cakes are always top quality amd tasty. Never had an issue.

Seemed nice and the staff were lovely but found a hair in my lamb and mint pasty so i won't be back.

The food was lovely but i got a bacon roll not a sausage cob.

i ordered a caramel doughnut as well as other things, the caramel on top was rock solid and tasted awful. it tasted like it had been on the shelf for ages. normally birds is very nice but this time it wasn’t. there is also a very rude woman that works there she has black hair and wears glasses think her names Lisa she is always very rude towards me and i feel as though birds would be a better place without her

Birds is by far the best bakery in the land. Fresh pastries, sandwiches and hot food. But everyone goes in for their cakes, from far and wide. Our weekly treat us always a birds cakes. Helpful, friendly staff too.

The best bacon rolls I’ve ever had. They also leave a lovely message on the bag :) 10/10!!!!

Out of this world delicious. The prawn mayo sandwich on chia bread is outstanding. Amazing quality every time.

Nice food just a shame about the rude miserable staff. The young girl Nicole I think her name is has a real attitude problem and brings the mood of the whole place down with her. Talks to her staff like they're dirt on the floor and that's infront of customers, only wonder how she speaks to them behind closed doors! Wouldn't hurt to smile or at least say 'hi' to a customer when serving them! No manners and sighing at customers. Rude staff with no respect. Birds management needs to address this!

Lovely fresh tasty cobs with plenty of filling.

Normally excellent service, unfortunately today we ordered 2 bacon cobs and one sausage but 3 bacon cobs sent and still charged for the sausage cob which is more expensive than the bacon cob.

I thought I'd ordered a plain ham sandwich due to it saying sliced ham in the sandwich section but to my surprise I received a packet of sliced ham. No bread rolls! Why was that in the sandwich section?

I received the wrong sandwich roll. I ordered egg mayo and received mixed cheese and onion. Still tasty but a bit disappointed as it wasn't what I ordered.

Was lovely and fresh. All packed neatly so nothing was squished. They used a tamper proof sticker on the bag which I love! Also had a personal hand written “thank you for your order” message on the side which was really nice 😊

I received someone else’s order instead of my own, the driver should really check order numbers or confirm the customers name before handed it over. Called the store and they were super helpful and suggested I request a refund and reorder. However JustEat are refusing the refund as I did not take a picture of each and every item that I received in the wrong order before I threw them away, threw away because the store can not take them back and I am allergic to one of the foods delivered. Poor just eat customer service But amazing service from staff at birds

Received the wrong order, but Maria at Birds was a star and sent out the correct order and a few chocolates to apologise for the mix up. Brilliant customer service (Thank you Maria), amazing food (as per usual for birds)
