Lovely venue, great food and delicious cocktails. Friendly staff, great service and lovely decor. Will definitely be back. One request - can the heating be a tad higher? I’m a very “cold” person no matter where I am but even with my puffa jacket on my teeth were chattering. Otherwise - faultless (even though it specialises in meat/chicken the veggie options were fab) 😊

I has such a good experience at this place. The staff were so friendly and polite and kept checking on us. The food was so delicious, the ribs were nice and tender and the cocktails were good too. They also had a good vibe with nice music. I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely go again, Thank you so much!

OMG!!! Unreal - I have always loved this restaurant, we use to eat in regularly, as we are fortunate enough to be able to walk in, but since getting our Frenchie we have been use to ordering in take out. Tonight we dined in - and so glad we did, the food was unreal! Coupled with amazing service and a very buzzy atmosphere- have never ever been disappointed but this was another level, after a shocking week of work tonight's food started the weekend just right. Duck taco , a fairly new edition to the menus starters was incredible and we could of easily polished off another 2, followed by the trio of faijtas - just yum. House champagne, as the veuve I was honestly told wasnt cold enough for me (I like it ice cold) was lovely and so reasonably priced, just like the food. You will not go wrong picking BnB for dinner, good food , excellent service , and reasonably priced - don't ever change what you are doing ! Loved every minute - thank you for ending a rubbish week on a natural high! 🙏 dawn x

We very rarely eat in Bromley but we met with family here for a Sunday dinner at 5pm. The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated - hard to believe this was the old post office! The menu is extensive and on Sunday they do a roast dinner. The prawn cocktail, I had to start, was served warm and with large prawns was delicious and the roast lamb was lovely. Others in the family had roast beef and one the fish of the day. The portions were plentiful and flavoursome. The serving staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Overall a very good choice and will certainly return. Thank you.

Wow. What a great place to eat! The first thing you notice when you walk in is beautiful decor such as plants, low mood lighting, clean round spacious tables. The second thing you notice is how friendly and attentive the staff are. They seem like they are genuinely interested in making sure you have a nice time. Nothing was too much for them! I was struck by how empty it was on a Monday night, as I thought even on a weekday, it would be full. The food was not only affordable, but absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. I had the fajhitas which came out sizzling hot and tasted lovely. Then the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream which was amazing. I think this has to be my new favourite restaurant. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place by accident on a visit to Bromley and we're so glad we did! The ambiance is lovely, the service was great and the food was excellent value for money. We'll definitely return when we visit again.

Fabulous multi generational family evening at the Bird and Bun on Saturday evening! Had walked passed many times and written it off as ‘another burger place’ but it really exceeded my expectations and was perfect for a family celebration which included older and younger children as well as great nanny and everyone inbetween. Food and service was excellent and portions were generous. The chicken in everyone’s dishes was really fresh and tasty. The team were very welcoming and exceptionally patient with taking the orders. Will definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed their meal, had the chicken and chips with their hot sauce/gravy with a small side salad. The staff are very attentive, they are warm and welcoming and give you time and space to order without coming across as intrusive. The food was really good. The chicken was piping hot as was the chips and the sauce/gravy is literally drinkable! Even the cola is amazing ~ ice cold and with a wedge of lemon. 10/10 across the board and a really nice interior and vibe ~ highly recommended!

The food was lovely, one of the best rack of ribs I’ve had fell off the bone really effortlessly. Service was great, they recommended the ribs which was a very good choice! Staff were all so friendly and great service would 100% recommend

The restaurant looks great from the outside and the decor inside is equally nice. We were particularly drawn to the restaurant due to the extensive cocktail choices. Despite pre-booking a table, the seating arrangements meant that my partner and I were sandwiched between two other tables of 2. The burgers were dry and tasteless, and the cocktails were watered down. The service was way too quick and felt rushed. We were in and out in under an hour. Could just be a bad visit but in my opinion not worth the visit. A tip was not left.

im disappointed that the waiter service wasn’t as good as the food, lovely burgers, unfortunately not many vegetarian options but we had about 3 different waiters and only one was nice the others left us waiting for the bill for almost 30 minutes after Repeatedly telling us they were coming, forgot our drinks and was overall not friendly. then they tried charging us extra. safe to say no tip was left.

This was our first visit, we found a lovey atmosphere, but not pretentious, plenty of room to make you feel comfortable in covid times, choice of cocktails, beers and wines, great food and great service

Was nightmare from start to finish ordered starter and main meal 30 minutes later had to ask where starters were 10 minutes after waiter come back said lost order started again starter come mine cold took it back they looked at me if mad it come after boyfriend had finished then just as put knife down main arrived told them I just finished starter but they did not care put it down and walked away not once was a sorry used thery are rude. Unhelpful. And new customer service satisfaction review I paid £70.00 for nightmare meal

Its been three years since I wrote my 5 star review for Bird & Bun and on subsequent visits the experience was equally good - until a week ago. - The staff remain friendly and the decor looks as fresh as our first visit. Sadly...

Great surroundings , pleasant waiting staff but unfortunately the food didn’t match the decor . Menu sounded great but at four times the price of fast food chain, the chicken was dry and tasteless , the frozen chips were under cooked, hard and just tasted...

Hunting around for somewhere to eat when we came across this place, polite staff, nice ambience, Very cold beers and nice food.

I have eaten in this lovely bar a numberof times and I was delighted to see it has now extended its space outside with tables,chairs, a large awning and heaters!! The food, as always, was excellent - can thoroughly recommend the chicken fahijtas washed down with a lovely rose wine. It's not a huge area and we didn't book. Brilliant friendly service. Can't recommend highly enough.

Nice modern venue, staff friendly and attentative and masked up. We say in a booth which was comfortable and clean, they also have outdoor seating also. Food was standard fare, i had fajitas which was nice and good price. Starters of panko prawns were really good, hummus ok and calamari slight thick and rubbery. Mac and cheese good also. Drinks wernt watered down Cheesecake was pretty bad tbh and the coulis was obviously a bottled syrup you may get from the supermarket so wasn't overly impressed by desert course, all in all a nice place though. 3of us 2/3 courses each, one alcoholic drink each £103, more than we thought it may be.

We first came on a Saturday for cocktails and decided to come back on Thursday. The service was amazing!!! We were served by Ben and the Manager David. Sorry French waiter we don’t know your name but you were also Tres BienI cannot remember the last time we met a team that were so brilliant. Defo worth a visit and a second and a third.

Had a banging date with an absolute sort, food was on point, service even better they offered us free shots at the end of the meal which i found extremely courteous

Myself and my partner have been here twice since things started to reopen after lockdown. Once for food and the other was for drinks only. On both occasions we had a very lovely evening and the staff were amazing. One staff member in particular, Corentin, was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be retuning for more tequila rose

Me and my my friend come here very often, the service is amazing along with the food the people here are friendly and make us feel so welcome, we often come for cocktails and wouldn’t choose anywhere else, we highly recommend to anyone who wants somewhere great to go!!

I was a bit early so I was allowed to wait in their seating area away from the restaurant. You have to hand sanitise and scan your phone to their track and trace device.Didn't wait too long for food or cocktails and I was not disappointed.I had lunch and looking at my surroundings, the setting up of the tables and chairs seemed distance enough for me.

I didn't enjoy our meal here. The tables were too close and serving staff were too close. The place was mentally busy. No hand sanitizer. Delivery making staying 2 cm away impossible, let alone 2m. Too many diners. Too many staff. And ironically signs saying they are Covid secure. But how I wanted to ask...!

The staff ruined our experience and we will not be coming back.The queue was out the door on our arrival but we had a booking and were seen to our seats. We were then rushed with our food choices and drinks, the food arrived almost immediately and the waiting staff took it in turns to constantly harass us throughout our time there as they hurried us and were asking if we had finished when we clearly were still eating, asking us if we wanted dessert when we were still eating our mains and then when we were discussing whether we should have a coffee we were given the bill. Our experience was rushed and harassed.Don;'t get me started on the food.

I must say - the guy who welcomes you and escorts to the table was trying too much to be funny. Since our company came a little early, we had to wait for our table and this person tried to talk to my female colleagues so much, he ended up annoying few of them. For example, one of them had flowers and he kept asking, can he take one flower to himself. Not sure - was he trying to flirt, or just joking, but he over-tried :) The food portions were big, but they didn't have ribs and salmon and the cocktails were very average.

Booked for 8pm but was left outside for 15mins waiting before anyone came to apologise. Nachos were OK to startI had the beef rib which was a bit too fatty and smaller than I had imagined, the sweet potato fries which were tasty and the mac and cheese which was terribly bland.Dessert I had yhe pecan brioche bread. Couldn't taste any pecan or banana at all and I expected the bread to be warm but it wasn't.Cocktail was just OK too.Good service but definitely was not blown away.5/10

My sisters and I visit bird and bun on a regular basis and we always have a fantastic time there. The manager David always manages to find gluten free options for my sister. Very grateful for that. Thank you :-). 10s across the board!

AVOID this place: We came in for lunch and were recommended the fajitas and the rotisserie chicken, place almost empty but with plenty of staff, yet we had to wait forever to be attended when needed, waiving both our arms, being seen by management but ignored. Firstly they got one of our drinks wrong. They later brought our food, the fajitas were fine although the chicken had not been seasoned, no salt at all. Unfortunately the rotisserie chicken with “lemon & herb gravy” texture was utterly disgusting and absolutely tasteless, no flavour whatsoever. The chicken was half burnt and had not been seasoned either so it had no flavour. Both of us tried it and thought it was the WORST CHICKEN we had ever tried. When we kindly let the manager know that the “lemon & herb gravy” had no flavour and the chicken had not been seasoned either, he suddenly become incredibly rude and said the gravy had a lot of flavour and no one had ever complained, he carried on and on about his career, saying the restaurant had over 200 servings a day and no ine had ever complained, it was utterly embarrassing and we actually had to ask him to let us eat. He would not take on any feedback, it was ridiculous. AWFUL FOOD and the WORST SERVICE. Not coming back.

Had a chicken platter to try and taste lots of the menu, sauces are great but need to be as some parts a but dry (wings and koftas) but other parts were delicious. Cocktails look great too.

This is the second time I’ve been to Bird & Bun and I was just as impressed with the friendliness of the staff as I was the first time! Super attentive and couldn’t be more welcoming. We shared some starters this time and the cheesey garlic bread was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Fajitas, gorgeous as usual. Anyone looking for somewhere different to eat out in Bromley you MUST give this place a try!

Unfortunately half our meal did not turn up restaurant said it was down to Uber and not them which I thought was passing the buck. Uber received a complaints also but not resolved. The food that did arrive wasn’t great. Unhappy customer - adult meals unfilled and kids meals burnt. We won’t be paying a visit again.

Had collection from Bird & Bun and what a great burger it was. Chicken breast was huge and perfectly grilled, salad was fresh and crispy, very crispy bacon ( the way it should be ), sauce accompanied the burger perfectly. Chips was nice. My partner had a chicken thighs with rice and that was really good with the spicy gravy. Will definitely order from here again and highly recommended.

Having dined here previously, it was great to hear that B&B were now offering take out!We ordered grilled halloumi, chicken nachos, chicken thighs and sweet potato fries, have to say it brought a smile to our faces and made us feel a bit more human again having restaurant food!Small tip, while eating the nachos we popped the halloumi, sweet potato fries in the oven to crisp up and they were delish as were the chicken thighs! Never going to beat actually sitting in the restaurant but came a very close second!Mickey M

Use to dine in regularly with my partner at this restaurant, however since lock down we have been ordering take out. The food is incredible. This is our sixth time for a take out and it is always so delicious. We have tried a number of dishes now and every time it truly does exceed our expectations. The fajitas are exceptional. Keep up the great work Bird & Bun. Definitely the best restaurant around.

During this tough time, good food really does make all the difference and I'm so happy that Bird and Bun are doing takeaway's and deliveries! I had the boneless chicken thighs and skinny chips and of course the chicken gravy to finish the perfect meal off! It came so quickly and still very hot, just like being in a restaurant but in the comfort of your own home. Can't recommend it enough! Same again next week please...

I kid you not, if you want to sample the best fajitas EVER, then Bird & Bun serve up the best there is....simply the best, thanks so much....my family and I are very grateful, extremely happy, and beautifully full! Compliments to the chef!

So we decided to get a take out for the first time during lockdown and decided to head to the Bird & Bun.We both went for the grilled chicken thighs, one with rice and the other with skinny chips. Side of prawns, calamari and some grilled haloumi.When we opened our order it was clear that the chicken had not been grilled at all but fried, you can see that the skin has shrunk by this method of cooking, the same for the haloumi. The calamari was rubbery and the rice resembled a ready made shop bought minus the peas as their menu suggested it would have.Overall a disappointing purchase spending £40If you like fried average food, then the Bird & Bun is for you. Please note if the menu states GRILLED you may receive fried!

A great takeaway from Bird & Bun, Chicken fajita, nachos, halloumi, flame grilled chicken wings and half a rotisserie chicken. I can not recommend the food enough, tasty well cooked and large portions. We will definitely be making a return visit soon.

Very empty at 7.30 on a Tuesday but that was not a problem. Service was prompt and attentive. The chicken fajitas were a particular success. Waitresses were very pleasant and everyone enjoyed the meal.

Service was good to begin with, died off a little after we were given our mains. Food was lovely especially the Padron peppers and houmous. and it all arrived in excellent time. One thing I think is they need more bar staff was one man making drinks and there was a lot of dirty glasses constantly left on the top of the bar, not great to look at when you first walk in and when you are sitting there eating and our second round of drinks took quite a while to arrive, other than that all good and a great addition to the area.

The food here is so great, fresh, nutritious and delicious. The staff are super friendly and we frequent the restaurant at least a couple of times a month. The Sunday roast is massive and really tasty!

This is now our 4th visit and we have never been let down by the service or the food on any of our visits. A good little find, tastes to suit everyone, would always recommend.

Ok, this is our third visit here. We went as a couple last weekend and had a roast - GORGEOUS. However, their cocktails are the best I have had ANYWHERE (and I love a cocktail and not easily impressed). This weekend we took 3 of our kids (between 10 years and 21 years) and they all loved it. Great vibe, amazing food and impeccible service from Sof. We are going back in December to make the most of the long happy hour! Can't recommend highly enough.

Went for dinner at Bird & Bun in Bromley tonight last minute with my fiancé. Everywhere was over an hour wait but Bird & Bun was quiet so we walked straight in and was sat downstairs immediately. The waiters were so nice and welcoming! The food was amazing, by far the best food I’ve had in a while!! The waiters were so attentive and polite and the price is good for the amount you get!! Service was so quick and the food was really good quality! Will definitely been going back!

We have eaten here twice now & not been let down on either visit! Food great, service great. Pardon Peppers, not everyone’s taste but lovely if you love them. The chicken fajitas everything arrives together, chicken sizzles and fajitas are hot. The spit roast chicken lovely taste to the chicken. Beer served in chilled glass, little touch but makes a difference. It is well priced restaurant, definitely worth a visit.

Came here for a casual Sunday lunch and stayed for a few cocktails. Great food, great cocktails but what really made the experience was the friendly staff who even gave us a free Baileys when we ordered our bill. Definitely recommend.

This is our third time for visiting Bird and Bun - this time childfree and we popped in before the cinema. My husband and I had dinner here on Monday night and it was fabulous. Great food, beautiful decor and our amazing waiter, Sofiane, was hilarious, entertaining and a real tonic. The best nachos I have had in years and great range of cocktails and huge choice of food. Can't wait to go back.

Me and my sister ended up in bird and bun last weekend randomly after feeling hungry when leaving a friends baby shower.

Very welcoming upon entry, shown to table of our choice, give time to order drinks and food separately. Opinions on the cocktails was given too. Food came out piping hot. No rush from the waiters. Ample time given to enjoy our meal. All staff were very friendly and very polite. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and tidy. Will definitely be going back.

We've been here twice now. The first was a spur of the moment trip after a theatre show and it was amazing!!!! We then came back last week for a pre-theatre meal and the staff were fantastic - overheard that we were going to a show and checked in with the chef to ensure we got our food in a timely manner.

I came to this place for dinner last week for the first time and was absolutely blown away. Amazing ambience, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you and the food was INCREDIBLE. Upon arrival we was greeted by a young blonde man (sorry I can’t remember your name) but we would just like to thank you for the amazing experience and hospitality you showed us. I had the chicken fajitas which were to DIE FOR sprinkled with fresh coriander and served on a bed of sizzling peppers. Fresh gauc, sour creme and salsa were all provided too! Cocktails, again were incredible, couldn’t get enough of the porn star martinis. If you’re looking for a place to eat that’s a bit above going to a wetherspoons but still in the same sort of price bracket I’d 100% give this place a try! Thanks guys I’ll be returning soon.

Went in with my daughter on a wet Wednesday afternoon. The food was lovely couldn’t fault it, definitely go back. The staff were friendly and warm. Very good

Came in with my family and ordered a salad my husband has a steak and the kids had a kids meal and they was both burnt! The salad taste like mud and the steak was dry as anything even the mayo had a sour taste to it and with the salad coming off the bi still was 50 pound!! Had the manager telling me that my salad couldn't of tasted like mud as the salad is washed but didn't taste like it was to me! Didn't Check up on how the rest of the food was as my family hardly ate any of there's either very very disappointed and we will not be returning!!!

Turned up unexpectedly on a Sunday evening looking for a table. There were 6 of us and we were seated no problem. The food was nice,tasty and hot, the service was good and the prices were fair. Kids menu was a nice touch at around £7 including ice cream.

The sweet potato chips were very unappetizing & the half chicken was dry, the Long Island Ice Tea Cocktail was awful, we will not be returning. Found Nandos was better.

The décor and layout of the restaurant is unique and cool. The service was friendly and efficient with the food arriving all together and quickly. The cocktails were superb and the food was excellent. Everybody enjoyed their food - my wife had a rib eye steak that was better than many from a steak restaurant!

My sister, daughter and I (from Canada) dined at this wonderful restaurant and were not disappointed. From the time we walked in to the time we left, we were very well looked after. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, followed by chicken nacho's followed by steak fajitas and a wrap. All fantastic!! We highly recommend this restaurant for its' ambience, service and excellent food. We met the owner and he is highly involved in the restaurant ensuring all runs smooths, wonderful restaurant. All staff were so pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to go back

I hadn't realised until we arrived that the restaurant is owned by the same guy as Branded in Beckenham - he is obviously a smart restaurateur as this one had the same exceptional level of food quality, service and interior design. It was nice to see him there, making sure himself that standards were high.

Returned to this restaurant at the owners request. This time no mishaps. The food was again really good and the waiters very attentive and efficient. Oh and the bottle of prosecco went down a treat

I visited the restaurant this week and there were a couple of incidents that occurred that spoilt the evening.

Had a lovely lunch here with my husband. Used to be the Old Post Office next door to Ask. We were greeted warmly and had a nice cold bottle of wine. We ordered the spit roast chicken, coleslaw and selection of sauces and gravies and french fries. The chicken was truly delicious and the sauces complimented it very well. Nice atmosphere and great service. Would definitely return here again.

2nd visit in a week, really great chicken, side and sauces/ gravies, can’t wait to try the other items on the menu.

Decided to give the Bird & Bun a try and glad we did. It was reasonably quiet when we visited on a Friday night but the restaurant had a welcome feel. The food and milk shakes were good service attentive and loved the decor. Prices were comparable to the burger restaurant nearby. Would recommend and will visit again
