Biltong Emporium in Wokingham

I must have spent thousands at this place over the years. I go in there to be told they can’t cut any biltong because they’ve just cleaned the machine. Can’t spend even more money there just because some useless tool behind the counter wants to go home early. I’ll go elsewhere. This is clearly how they treat their regular customers now. Pathetic customer service.

Has always been expensive with some batches a bit hit or Miss but it was overall still the best place of its type (in my opinion) and I’ve tried pretty everyone selling this type of stuff in the UK. Delivery charge was always a bit of a rip off too but it was the price you paid….. I have to say the quality of the product here has just got worse and worse to the extent that it’s certainly no longer worth anything like the prices they charge, they need to get on top of quality control in a big way if they expect people to keep buying at the prices charged, no longer the quality products they once were, certainly not value for money.

If you've not been here and you love biltong then thank me later for this recommendation. The caramelised onion one is sooooo good!!!

I am from Zimbabwe and so know my biltong, their stuff is great, consistent quality, they have loads of options , yes its expensive but all biltong is here. Really recommend it ( oh and friendly staff)

We drive for an hour to come to this shop and we are not disappointed at all! And it’s the best we have tasted in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - and we have at least bought from 10+ different biltong producers 😝 will only come back here to buy from now on 👍

Been a customer here on and off for 5 years or so. Quality sometimes varies, never being bad....just sometimes better than others... Prices are about £45 per kilo now.

Great biltong. Great, always friendly, service. A huge selection of biltong flavours, smoked hickory, sweet chili and caramelised onion to name just a few. The also sell drooi wors - yum. Well worth a visit if you're looking for a high protein snack or if you're a saffer who misses home.

Absolutely love Biltong Emporium! Always have samples out for you to try, and the staff are always very helpful, and enthusiastic! Love the place, and visit once a week to collect my weekends supply. (just be careful with the volcano bites!!!)

I have been getting my Biltong here for a few years now and by far the best biltong in town and best I have tasted ever in almost 12 years of being in the Uk.
