Miserable staff in here, dunno how they still have customers Always feels like your inconveniencing them buy going in and ordering Wouldn't care if the food was decent but its average at best and must better chippers in the area Not to mention the most expensive of them all Go elswhere 👍 you will thank yourself

Order kebab butties, pizza and sauces. Garlic sauce watered down, may as well be water. Kebab so thin you can see through it. Charge £1.60 a tub for garlic water. Absolute disgrace. Talking about greed. Going totally downhill. Never order from here again.

Horrible coustmer service ..they domt know how to treat with staff never coming back

Made a total hash of my order. Ordered online to be delivered the following day. But they tried ordering the day I ordered. Then when I rang up “no talkie English re-order” so rang at lunchtime today. Actually got someone who spoke and understood English. Order was half an hour late. Batter and chips disgusting 🤢 not even worth one star certainly won’t get my custom again.

Fish and chips were nice but they made a mistake with my pizza. I'd asked for vegetarian without mushrooms or sweetcorn. It was covered in sweetcorn which isn't easy to pick off!! When I rang, Billy was rude, insisting it was my mistake. Obviously hasn't heard of "the customer is always right".

Ordered a 12inch pizza tonite and got told it would be ready in 20 minutes and went over to collect it and my ordered wasn’t even done got told it would be ready in 5 minutes I said no thank you I will not Botha and walked out what a disgrace

Called in after visiting family - wish we hadn’t ! Quality awful - battered burgers were rock hard ! Chips made from cheap low quality potatoes - overpriced - avoid !!

Got a kabab with garlic but instead was covered in chili and looked a mess sadly the worst iv had

Absolutely ridiculous, they forgot to give me my curry sauce and someone came in with her food and said she got given cheesy chips instead of chilli and chips.

Please do no use. Zero customer service. Placed a large order for delivery. Rang to check when delivery was late (40 mins late), to be told they'd 'lost' the order. I missed a call from them but rang back within 5 mins to be told either cancel the order or accept the delay. This has happened twice from this takeaway and it won't happen again. Times are so hard at the moment and to order a large meal as a treat doesn't happen often. I had a family looking forward to a nice night. This takeaway does NOT appreciate that!! No way to contact the app provider either! Do yourself a favour and try somewhere else.

I ordered 2 burgers and got 1 and bag of chips no good and no pop the week b4

Ordered kebab, chips cheese and garlic and chips cheese and garlic £10.50!! And got the smallest portion you could possibly get. Everything in this chip shop is over priced and the quality is just ok..

Just picked up a kebab wrap was firstly over charged £2.00, then when we got it home was the complete wrong order and all the chips were green, when I phoned up to question this was told by a really rude woman that she was only doing her fkn”” job, absolutely disgraced in that response, will never ever go back there again and suggest nobody else does. We used that takeaway all the time as we are local to it, but after tonight will never go there again. Good luck people who go there, they’re a disgrace

Won't go anywhere else for pizza

Been going here for years and always been spot on but after 3 of 4 last orders being iwrong and after being embarrssed on front of others last time they got my order wrong I was a bit reluctant to order again . Tonights supper was perfect. Order taken and delivered by Kerry was just so nice, and has definitely won us back. Billy, u should be pleased to have her as part of your team?

Ordered n didn't get what ordered then slated cos were wearing 3 times now thiis happened then told our fault even tho asked for what is on menu horrible place n people

Absolutely awful service. When I asked for a receipt, to which I am entitled. I was told that the contactless only produces one which they need, I stood my ground and asked for a reprint. It was reiterated by the woman serving me that this was not possible, I again suggested a reprint. She then reached under the counter and magically produced a receipt, which was thrust into my hand. As I was leaving she said "the next time you come, have a better attitude" I returned to the counter and asked her to repeat what she had said, which she did and then blanked me. I rang the manager later to register my disgust and he kept interrupting me. They demonstrated a complete lack of customer service. I Shall not be giving them any further business. Absolutely disgusted.

Had fish and chips very poor. The fish was more batter and the chip very brown .

Plenty toppings on pizza, larger portions than many other takeaway hence a little more expensive. reliable delivery service.

Ordered two kebabs for delivery. Delivery time was supposed to be an hour which was fine as it was Christmas Eve. The order arrived slightly late which wasn’t a problem. However, the order was cold which is unacceptable as we live 0.4 miles away, and part of the order was missing. We were unable to sort this over the phone as the place was busy (Christmas Eve as previously mentioned). Food would’ve been much better if hot. Such a shame that this could not be resolved over the phone at the time.

Dangerous having this place pretty much on your door step. Foods top draw, pizzas are a must try. Proper chippy chips

Wud give it zero waited over 1 hr 20min stone cold got told they wud pick it up but not send out replacement told we have discount on next order will not be returning and they have argued back , absolutely shocking waiting on a new kitchen so can’t even re heat up tea money down the drain!!!!

Food is nice and if it wasn’t for that I wouldnt come back. Thin grey haired woman and ginger girl are horrible at customer service so much so I’ve had to return multiple times because they’ve not listened to my order properly because they’re just trying to serve and get you out as fast as possible

Just bought 2 special pizza's 12 in + chips and can of pop, very nice.. Only criticism is base needs to be crispier and may be less cheese as it over powers the other ingredients. Overall good value

Called to Billy's the other day as we were in the area. Had Pizza slice and chips with garlic which was reasonably priced and very nice. Staff were friendly also

WOW went in while food is decent the prices are comically high. Had a refurb and clearly the customer is paying for it. Always like this shop but when the staff say I know its expensive you know management have got greedy. Wont be returning

Been standing 25 minutes in an empty shop waiting for a bloody kebab. It was only when I asked how much longer, she started to make it up. There is 8 staff in, and all to concerned about phone orders. Terrible service and couldn't even bother to apologize for the wait.

Horrible customer service, get shouted at by staff members when asked how long the food is going to be. As well as swearing at you Infront of other customers (including children).

Just been to the chip shop today for lunch time special chips and slice of pizza: on checking my order no pizza so I went back and mentioned the situation. And the young red head lass in there was foul mouthed she spoke to me like utter dirt: accusing me of eating my slice of pizza down the street. I was calm and explained I did not do this. She shouted at me and accused me of lieing: and told me to wait to one side while the owners check the cctv/ I waited and waited and the more customers came in the more she continued to shout at me/ so I said forget it your attitude stinks and walked out: having being a customer of Billys for over 20 years. I will never return if they are hiring people that talk and shout and their customers and accuse them of eating there orders when in fact they are in the wrong not giving me my order/ the young girls attitude stinks she needs a kick up the back side in customer service/ if she was my employee she be jobless right now.

went in tonight,stood for 5 mins at the counter and was ignored while everyone made up phone orders so i sat and waited and the next person who comes in gets served,sort the orders but at least leave one person serving and then to be told they hadnt seen me,come on are you all blind,i had my daughter in my arms at the till,ignorance.

Went in tonight as it's just opened after refurb asked for 3 kids meals was confusion so 2 off the meals were kept under the heater waited 10 mins for other meal walked around home whitch would took 3 mins max and the 2 meals under the heater got home chips are cold rang to tell them they offered to replace but already had been plated up also would ment waiting longer

Lovely fish but not so chips but it's the potatoes.

Great pizzas and the chilli sauce is unbelievable.

The food is amazing and good quality would highly recommend it and once I saw a celebrity in the fishy which was amazing

Called for tea tonight. Kebab wrap for me and sausage and chips for the wife. Food was nice and reasonably priced but very very greasy.

Get the Bolognese, if you eat meat that is. Chilli base if you like a little spice. I've been getting it for years and consistently the best pizza available around this area. I would love to be proven wrong. Even the chips are proper lush chippy chips, unlike most pizza shops which serve yellow cardboard things, plus they come free with each pizza you buy. Fantastic

Visited here on a Friday tea time. Ordered fish and chips and the portions were huge! One portion would easily feed 2 people. Chips were nice and tasty and chunky. Definitely recommend.

When i entered billys to collect my food I had pre ordered and was not asked by all 6 of the staff if they could help so I approched th conuter and said I had a collection and the blonde short haired women said "and" when I just looked at her she then said "well what is it" I then told her then walked outside the shop to wait she then begun to shout when I was outside like a school teacher worst customer service ever food is amazing but if she wasnt behind the counter I would of took her face off her after that I just walked away and left my food

We called into billys for a couple of pizzas and chips etc for the family, The chips are the best I've had from a chip shop for a while the pizzas are good with garlic oil on top makes it a bit greasy but very tasty you can always ask for no garlic on the pizzas if you want the chilli sauce is nice and thick and quite hot and also has great haricot sauce I would highly recommend billys for pizza and chips and visit every week

Love Billys, its my first choice every time for pizza, kebab etc. Order here several times a month and it never disappoints :) Keep up the good work guys

Billy's is a hit and miss fish shop some time it nice and the next time its not so nice makes nice pizzas staff are great and very help full very clean some times to busy doing delivers to serve front of shop.

He visitado Billy's, ya que mover a la zona hace 12 años y 99 veces de cada 100 no decepciona. La comida es excelente, aunque no estoy de acuerdo que a veces parecen patatas fritas que les han sobrado de un lote anterior pero esto no ha sucedido por un largo tiempo. Nuestros visitantes de otras áreas al otro lado el pescado y patatas fritas orden noreste de Billy's para llevar a casa como les gusta tanto. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera de Billy.

Muy buenos precios para lo que es, un chippie! La calidad de la comida es muy común y las patatas fritas han ido aumentado de descenso muy recientemente. Patatas fritas solía ser buena, pero ahora es horrible. Patatas fritas a la hora del té y el almuerzo se sirve comida muy grasosa. Sin embargo, si vives en local, no te apetece cocinar y sólo quieres un bocado rápido después de un largo día de trabajo, el precio es bueno.

Nice fish and chips served by pleasant staff. You generally have to wait a few minutes but they are freshly cooked .Worth a try if you haven't been before.

Greasy food however it was tasty with lots of flavours, took 2 hours to come and the garlic dip was almost spicy, £15 for 2 pizzas and 2 chips with a garlic dip, price not bad, very average, wouldn't rush back in a hurry.

Used Billy's for over 25 years good quality take away chips best around here and bolngnes pizza yummy :-).

I've used this chippy over a number of years and I rate it the best in the area. Whether having fish and chips or a pizza, both are equally appetising.Hygiene standards are very good as are the staff who serve you. Portions are of a good size - can be shared between two for those with a smaller appetite.I would certainly recommend this place!

We had fish, chips and a kebab wrap delivered - took over an hour to arrive (on a Wednesday), the fish was cold and tasteless and the kebab meat was burnt. I asked for salad and all I got was a bit of chopped cabbage - the pitta was soggy and falling apart and the whole thing went in the bin. Far too expensive - never again!!

One of the best fish and chip shops in the area, Billys garlic sauce is to die for. The staff and owner are very friendly.

Really nice chippy, garlic sauce is best I have tasted and pizzas are really cheesy which I love. They offer good lunchtime deals but prices are a little high normal (ie. Chip are £1.70 and garlic is £1). Staff are really nice

Pizza's are very tasty, with our favourite being the Geordie Delight and Inferno. Who ever thought of a Kebab Meat pizza.A lot of offers available, make it good value for money. Can be a very long wait if you simply turn up, so would advise to order over the phone.
