Wonderful service, immediately got given a table by who I think was the manager, was given a menu and ordered some wonderful drinks, food took a little longer but was expected as it was quite busy (still only about 25 minutes) but it was totally worth the wait. I had the Halloween special “Count Duck-Ula Burger” which was very flavourful and had a black bun! Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great, 5 stars!

The service was extremely friendly and helpful unfortunately that didn't quite make up for the very unimpressive food we were served. The children's meals were too small and didn't look or taste very good either. The carrot Batton's didn't look fresh and one piece had a black mark on the end. My breakfast was very disappointing, the streaky bacon seemed undercooked with a lot of very pale fat. I wouldn't ever bother to try another Bills again. I was confused how it was so busy in there and it really doesn't represent good value for money. I'd have enjoyed a weatherspoons meal more tbh and saved around £60 as well.

Fresh bread takes the wrap to next level. Chicken shawarma was great! Staff friendly. The restaurant second floor decoration is so cozy and toilets are super clean. We are not from Brighton and felt so grateful to pick a random restaurant and find it brilliant in every aspect.

Lamb Cop Shish wrap is fantastic, the freshly cooked bread wrap is delicious. Chilled low-key atmosphere. Good lunch spot.

We liked the look of Lavash as we walked past so popped in for some lunch 🥙 and we were so glad we did as the food was very flavourful and the staff was friendly and welcoming 👍 it was a bit noisy on the ground floor so we move up to the first floor that was much better 😎 the only thing that fell short was the salad 🥗 that we paid an extra £4.95 for that was disappointing ☹️ over all we had a nice meal and would eat in there again 😎

Loved the flavours & enjoyed the bulgar instead of rice. Not something you see too often. Nice warm & welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant. I never knew how much space was available to sit down in there. (Mostly upstairs). Would go back for sure.

Last week, we visited and had great lamb pieces cooked with aubergines. It was served with v tasty mezes. We loved their mezes as well!🤗 great food, great experience 🤗 I would definitely recommend 😊

I love Lavash!!! So unassuming from the outside, this is one of my favourite eateries in Brighton. Their interior designer clearly knows what they are found this place is just so cool inside - especially upstairs. The staff are super friendly and are quick to explain what the various dishes are if you get confused. The food is top notch and so fresh it really is brilliant. There waitress was busy so the chef brought my order straight to my table himself to ensure that it didn't sit around even for a few minutes. Brilliant! I've been on my own and with a group of friends and every time the food has been just amazing.

Wraps and sharing plates are delicious, filling and great value. They also have a good loyalty scheme in place for regulars.

The food was rapped with not fresh and cold rapp Dry and with small 4 pieces of mead and no tasty vegetables!! Staff was a very not polite and not nice!! Specially who served us. Above more it is so expensive for this untasty. food. Usually Turkish food so delicious but not this.i wouldn't be recommender to eat there !

Had really tasty chicken here, the food was brilliant. The service was excellent. The espresso I had, blew my head off, which was perfect. Great place to relax and eat good food.

lovely chilled out experience with really nice drinks and excellent customer service. we were served by ella who was very on it and made sure we had everything we needed, and when i accidentally left my keys at my seat tried to call after me as i left (and when i returned looking for them, had them moved aside for me thankfully!!)

We have been coming to various Bills for many years, starting when the Lewes restaurant was the only one. I don't think we will be going again after such a bland and boring lunch in Brighton. The premises are tired and grubby. The food was on the table within 5 mins of ordering, suspiciously quick. It was very bland and generic and mass produced. The waitress was charming and couldn't be nicer. Basically this place has become too tired and has no trace of the original so only the name femains

Completely forgot to photograph our vegan platter (x2!) because we were hungry and they were absolutely amazing!

Megan/Meghan, our server, was really helpful and understanding when we complained about a particular meal being quite bland (the Hippy Bowl). She dealt with it so fast and was really friendly so we definitely would go back. Otherwise, the vibes are really nice and the deserts are especially good!

The best shawarma that I have had in the UK so far! Not the usual kuboos, freshly baked bubbly naan right at the counter. The chicken was soft and full of flavour and all the ingredients were fresh. The place was maintained so well and excellent customer service! We spoke to the manager as well and she was very kind! Must visit place!

The two of us shared the veggie platter because we just needed a snack in between and it was really perfect. Very tasty compilation! There are generally many vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommended 😊

We were visiting the Seven Sisters via Brighton and then we found this place. In the beginning being sure was difficult because it was not seem so good from the website but everything was so delicious and I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Worth the prices.

Chicken shish wrap was delicious! Very big and filling… only downside was the wrap could do with some sort of sauce, other than that it was delicious!

The food was simply magical. Very tasty and very nice and friendly staff. I will definitely come here again. Turkish beer is very tasty. Lamb kebab, chicken kebab and two beers cost me £42.

Visited few weeks back with family. Place has warm cozy atmosphere. Staff were nice, and helpful. Our order was mixed up, and served different food. When we said this waitress didn't hesitate to change it. Later came and apologised for the mistake which is very hard to see from most restaurants. Food was delicious, big enough to fill your hunger. Fresh and tasty. Price was also at OK level. Recommended.

Unseeming from the outside, but amazing food and a beautiful restaurant on the inside! Definitely a great find, also not too touristy. Dining area and toilets are also very clean. We both had the Falafel wraps and it was some of the best bread we've ever had. Also, it comes at a reasonable price (10£ p. p.) with complementary tap water.

Lavash is a Middle Eastern restaurant located in the heart of Brighton. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with traditional Middle Eastern decor. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but the interior decor is beautiful. Although a bit pricey, the flavors are truly authentic. I recently visited Lavash with my partner for lunch. We shared the mixed kebab platter. It comes with grilled chicken, lamb çöp shish and handmade spicy lamb mince kebab (Adana kebab) served with bulgur pilaf, red cabbage, raw onion, salad, chilli & yogurt sauce. We ordered the veggie mixed platter as well but they forgot about it which is why they lose a point on service. We also tried the baklava for dessert, which was a nice sweet treat to end the meal. The baklava was tasty but tasted like it was a little old and had a bit too much syrup for my liking. For drinks, we ordered pomegranate juice, Turkish coffee and şalgam (turnip juice). The pomegranate juice was delicious. The Turkish coffee was well balanced and served with a Turkish delight. Not too bitter. Overall, we had a good experience at Lavash. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. It was a shame we didn’t get to try the veggie mixed platter, I’m sure it’s yummy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a authentic Middle Eastern dining experience in Brighton. If you order a main per person and a few starters to share, you’re probably looking at paying £20-£30 per head. They also do 10% off for students.

The food here is DIVINE. Really high quality stuff - got recommended by a friend and am so happy that it was. Service was quick but a bit cold, but the food more than makes up for it.

Lavash is a little gem tucked away in the middle of the big businesses of North Street. Great food!

I went here with some friends and just had the lentil soup. It came piping hot with some lovely flatbread. It was delicious and very wholesome food. I look forward to trying other dishes when I return. Highly recommended!

A very poor veggie breakfast with cold potatoes, toast and over cooked, lumpy scrambled eggs. Could have been a lot better.

We arrived 8 of us for brunch we were shown straight to our table two people in our group had dietary requirements this was no problem lots to choose from to meet their needs. Food all arrived warm and on time. and food was excellent. We ordered some of the cocktails which were very good. Our server Tom was great fun he was engaging, chatty and looked after us superbly. Thank you Tom you made our lunch very enjoyable.

Our first visit to Bill Brighton and it won’t be our last. The food was great, the customer was brilliant and the restaurant it really nice, although a little tucked away. This is however an ideal location if you want to eat before going to Komedia.

A birthday celebration. The waiting staff were extremely polite and attentive, but we were left disappointed by cold food and the brusk manager. We also overheard another diner complaining of having a hair in their food. One of our group is partially sighted and found the toilet area extremely difficult to navigate. You have to pass through a strange curtain and into a junk room to get there - it’s a bit like a cave with dark walls and poor lighting. We needed a torch! Later on, after being furnished with more drinks, the manager appeared and told us we have exceeded our booking slot by an hour, he said he needed the table back and presented the bill. There was nobody waiting to be seated at the door. Other empty tables also available. He said ‘no waiting’ and despite none of the card machines working effectively, eventually paid and left. Why did you serve us with another round of drinks and then kick us out? No-one told us we only had the table for two hours. Very inhospitable attitude. It marred the family event and we felt deflated and rather used. Bill’s is off the eating out list from now on. Will aim for local places and stay away from this chain.

Worst experience of my life, yesterday went there and ordered for takeaway food, completely different food given to me very little rice ( just about 2 spoon full) and got charged over £80. For 3 dish coofteh kebab and 4 slices of bughlava, terrible never going there again.

Great place in the heart of North Laine, I stopped in on a whim seeing the welcoming window and the tempting menu. And without regret, because I enjoyed it! The wraps are served in generous portions, well stocked and really tasty. It was really good. Good value for money. I recommend the Lamb Çöp Shish wraps with Halloumi cheese supplement.

The food is wonderful. I had the veggie main and the falafel were amazing. My husband had the lamb kebab and the meat was beautifully cooked and tender. Service is friendly and efficient and the seating areas are cosy and welcoming. The freshly cooked lavash bread is delicious, I could eat it all day long!

Website says opens at 8.00 am. Went there at10.00 am. Staff were rearranging furniture and left myself and other people waiting, only to be told they weren’t open and to come back. As if I would after that. I suggested they alter their website to be told rudely by the manager that they didn’t open until 11.00. Check your website and don’t be so rude to customers. I will never go again.

4 of us met for brunch at a prebooked table on Sat 3 Feb at 10.30. Hadnt seen each other for ages so we had lots to chat about. Food & drinks arrived quick & was nice but by 11.15 the bill was put on our table, before we'd even asked for it! We thought this was very rude & made us feel we were no-longer welcome, so we paid & went up the road to another coffee shop for more drinks. Also the unisex toilets smelt of urine. They need more regular cleaning, especially if men & women are sharing the same cubicles.

We visited for dinner after work with friends and we were very pleased. We ordered the mixed meze plate and especially loved the borek and falafel. Mix kebab and chicken shawarma plate was huge! And it's delicious. We were very pleased with the food, everything was delicious. The atmosphere and decoration were very relaxing and warm, and waiters were very friendly.

Honestly a hidden gem, despite its location on a busy street. Food was incredible - we got the shawarma and everything was super fresh (the salad was immense!). The staff couldn't have been better, friendly without being overbearing, and the atmosphere inside was really chilled. The restaurant is surrounded by fast food places like Burger King / Popeyes - give them a swerve and go here instead, you won't regret it.

Just because an eatery has built a strong reputation, doesn't mean it can afford to rest on its laurels. Bill's restaurant built its reputation on the quality of the food, which in the past has been exemplary, but based on a basic breakfast offering it is apparent something has been lost. My friend and I ordered a Traditional Breakfast and two coffees on Wednesday 3rd January '24. Despite having been asked if we'd like to start by ordering something to drink, the coffees took longer than the breakfast to arrive and were luke warm by the time we'd started tucking into the food. This breakfast comprised: 2 eggs (rubbery), a halved tomato (soggy, looked as if it had been sitting at the bottom of a pan for 3 days and tasteless), rashers of streaky bacon ( I wonder when these were first cooked as the rashers were dry, hard, cool), some mushrooms (hurrah: hot and tasty), a (cumberland) sausage (OK), 3 half slices of sourdough bread (also OK, but we had to request butter). The overall presentation was fair, but nothing like you see in the on line photos and the quality of the food was way below expectation and the plate it was served on was cold. It continues to amaze me that businesses that start small with high quality products, tend to lose their mojo when they expand to become a chain. I suppose people who work there, once familial and caught-up with the energy of something good, end-up just doing a job and appear to have lost sight of the point and purpose of something that was once distinguished by detailed presentation and delightful food, piping hot coffee. The service was both good and bad: despite the place being almost empty when we arrived, a waitress bid us to wait (she could have said, 'Go and sit anywhere' with a smile as there were so many tables available. Instead, she made us feel like we were doing her a favour: rude). The young man who eventually led us to our table and served us was pleasant and helpful, despite leaving the coffee to stand. For this service we did not tip. The decor of Bill's Brighton was excellent and elements resembled a theatrical set for a steam-punk vision of Dracula, but the food was tasteless and the service toothless, the overall experience lacking bite.

Nice small place to have Turkish food. I had Shawarma plate with Shalgam drink. Quantity was more than what I expected, being Londoner I am used to have very small portion😁 but my plate was enough for 2 people.

Lunchtime we dropped in on our way shops. Welcoming place and we all had chicken wraps / haloumi wraps at a tenner per person. The fillings were incredibly generous and tasty. Their own bread that they make the wraps with is awesome. Really good value and a real hidden gem.
