Best chippy around my area, staff very friendly and food always delicious.

I've only ever been here twice and I won't be going again. Firstly, the Chinese lady at the front was polite and friendly but the young English lad serving needs a lesson in customer service skills as he didn't crack a smile once on both occasions. I made a simple request but you'd have thought I'd asked him to climb Mount Everest. The food was average. Cash only, like all Chinese takeaways for some reason, I wonder why???

Chinese takeaway serving fish and chips also. Very limited parking. Lots of food prepared ahead and kept warm. Even chips appeared to be "refreshed". Fish was good. Cash only. Clean. Service was cold.

Used for the first time last week highly recommended will be using again when we visit the Mason Arms on our way home went again 3 weeks ago not as good must be different chef I had special chow mein couldn't eat it such a same thought we had found a winner

Only been in once because Peters on Poolstock lane was closed . Chicken in the curry was like blocks of rubber and the sauce was thinnest ever had.

I can only give it 1 star because I can't give it no stars. What a rotten meal. Don't go there. I bet the seagulls refuse to eat the chips on my garage roof tomorrow.

If you want to compare the standard of food between billinge supper bar And rainford supper bar Rainford supper bar you will give a 10 Billinge supper bar I give a 2 out of 10 The chicken was dry like an old boot I give it to our dogs and they had trouble eating it. Chips warmed up it was though I had been served all the bits of chips that where left been once never again I'll drive to rainford supper bar instead.

It's the first time I've had food from here, I would recommend it

I come here often, maybe once per week, and the service is always fantastic. The salt and pepper chips are to die for, especially when they make them more on the spicy side. I will usually make a telephone order as to not busy the shop in these trying times, and there has never once been an issue with the order.

Used to love this place seems to have gone down hill a little though after reopening from lockdown.

We have recently been here twice. The first occasion we didn’t receive all our food in our order so we had to return which caused our food to go cold and ruined the meal. The second and most recent occasion we ordered sweet and sour chicken and salt and pepper chicken which both dishes tasted off and we were quite ill for the next few days. It could have been a result of reduced footfall and old chicken. It is clear so say we shall not be returning.

Chips here are absolutely fantastic, always freshly cooked with big portions and great service from friendly staff. Sometimes can put a bit too much salt in food is only downside. They've got Covid measures covered very well and you can see the owner takes pride in their business. It does get busy so there can be a wait, but it's worth it!

Handy for home. I like their chips.

Bought 2 meals a here Saturday night Singapore vermichila and sausage and chips ,both meals were disgusting,the vermichila was dry and tasted like powder, and the chips had been warned up maybe 2 days ago well that's what they looked like needless to say both meals went onto the bin, phoned up and told them they weren't bothered and why should they be they had had the money. Will not be going here again DISGUSTING.

Usually not a bad place for food most of the time. But sometimes it seemed like the chinese food had been warmed up which had been left to go soggy for several hours then thrown back into the wok and reheated. That's happened a couple of times to me I'm sure it can be corrected if you let them know you aren't happy with the food. But will be watchful in future when ordering Chinese food. Other than that though the fish and chips and what not are okay and actually quite nice.

Absolutely awful. Crispy chilli beef no flavour and not crispy. No bean sprouts in chow Maine and salt and pepper chips are just normal chips with some spring onion thrown on. Won't be going again. So 12 months on i gave this place another shot. Still not any better. Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls .they tasted of seafood of some kind. This time i took it back and got my money back not before i was asked if i wanted the chips still. Definitely won't be going again.

I drove out of the way to try this takeaway. I had curry rice and chips. Food was delicious Place was clean and bright Prices extremely competitive. I shall drive out my way again.

I placed my phone order at 7.20pm and was told to collect at 7.45 . I arrived at 7.50 and was asked my order details. My order obviously was not ready. No one even spoke to me to explain anything. I was asked again my order details. Still no response. Then a girl asked is anyone not being served and I said no I don’t think I am no one is telling me anything. Then the lady in charge shouted we don’t get the dish ready in advance which is not true. I replied had you old me that I would understand but you told me to arrive at 7.45 . To which she replied or should I say shouted WE ARE BUSY you don’t need to come here I then said forget it and walked out.

Excellent Chinese and English chippy. A lot of places have now cut down on the veg in meals but not these. I recommend the salt and pepper range as well as the various fried rices and chow mein. Excellent portion sizes plus the chips are always good and golden. They've won platinum and gold frying standards from the council. Shame they don't deliver.

I normally phone up and do a telephone order.I got told 10mins.I arrived and told the new girl.Iam here to pick up a telephone order.The girl said whats your number i didnt get one over phone. So i said it was for the lemon chicken chips.So i waited while other customers come and go who ordered after me getting there food. I waited just over 20 mins dont normally wait that long.There normally good. But tonight was a let down while i waited my food order was in the food cabinet the whole time. When i eventually got my food and got home chips were burnt and cold.Lemon chicken tough too chewy.Also found a white hair in it. Never eating from here again. Slow customer service.Even slower at food prep. Hamadams all the way

Got rice instead of chips that where ordered. No sauce in Shredded chicken and Sweet & Sour dishes. Chicken was dry in both with no flavour. Won't be going again.

Has better chips, toors thin and black bits (poor potatoes) the gravy was grey !! Smashed my pudding to bits in order to close the tray...... try elsewhere

It has gone downhill rapidly since it changed hands. The food was awful & had to thrown away. Two different meals were (1) tasteless & (2) so badly cooked that the food was barely luke warm. It is officially a disaster & our regular Sunday night takeaways will be bought from somewhere else from now on. Very poor show.

Must of changed owners as i have just had a meal and it was the worst chinese i have ever had stone cold chicken just smotherd in a spicy paste no sauce atall in dish shame as it used to be nice wont be goin back .
