We were blown away by what this place sold and at competitive prices too

Poor staffing. More staff wandering the aisles pretending to look like they're working and stood chatting than actually doing what they get paid to do like replenishing shelves and manning the tills. A queue at least 10 people in front of me with only 2 staff on tills and no one to think to call more staff to go to the tills.

Very good place with a loot decoration and many more stuff.

Found this place by accident such a lovely spot overlooking the cove in the distance is morecambe arrived early xmas day for a liitle time to be by myself and explore once the light arrives got to see the cave though

Firstly beware of the car park. It has a strict time limit and ensure you keep your store receipt and don't go back within 24 hours... The store itself has a wide variety of items, from bedding to painting materials, to diy to a mini iceland. It's a proper home store. Some bargains to be had if you're prepared to rummage. The shop always seems scruffy and tatty inside. The arts and crafts is always the cleanest area, followed by the diy section. After that it goes downhill and falls into car boot territory. It's like they've run out of steam by the time they've got half way through organising the shop. By the time you get to the back of looks like an unkempt warehouse.

Worst experience I have ever had in a store. My 4 years old girl was bumped in by a rude and aggressive customer and hit her head ,I've had 2 members of staff starring at us like I was the crazy one ,when I asked them for security ,one of them came closer to me saying " I haven't seen anything ,Ok? and she turned the back on me. I did ask them as they were wearing a headset why you don't feel like you should call for security when a child is assaulted in your store ?....but no one was listening. Emphaty 0 ,Customer service 0 .Not going back ever and not recommend at all.

Shop was in disarray in some sections. Queues long at checkout. Shelves sparsely packed I some sections. Christmas selection was very good.

Great shop, rubbish parking and limited time so ypi can't enjoy browsing in store. Would recommend you go to another store that gives you time to actually enjoy shopping. May outside side of St helens. I plan never to shop in st helens centre again.

You can get everything here. But don't try to get around in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. They have so much stock on the shop floor that would normally be stored in a warehouse that it limits access around the store. The inclusion of an Iceland store inside has only added to the issue. Pallets of stock block areas & stop the store reaching its potential. Great prices & amazing seasonal Areas are bonuses but the store needs a refit & a reduction in the amount of products they stock. Its ok having everything in one store if you can get to it but sometimes enough is enough.

This is a great place for all those niknak bits you might need and loads of other stuff you never knew you needed. Very friendly staff and lots of parking.

It always seeks very messy and over crowded with stock. Kind of over whelming.

This isn't the biggest Range I've ever been to but it's better than the nearest alternative at Warrington. They do an okay job of keeping stocked with most things and the checkout queues are handled pretty quickly too.

There is everything you could (and could not until you see it )need in this store. They had a wonderful selection of Christmas decorations. I spent more than I anticipated 😂. A great store.

You can get everything from this store. Its amazing! It is always up to date with certain dates, ie Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc.

Love The Range. Always a good selection. Unfortunately we were looking for Christmas stuff and the displays were dominated by Halloween. Always my go to for kids crafts, anything haberdashery, and household stuff. We will be going back!!

Nice things in the Range but not a lot of things for us to do like knitting and crochet

This place needs a map, GPS, a crystal ball or something to help you find what you need. I recently order lay z spa anti foamer online for collection ( it said they had 3 in stock) the next morning they cancelled my order. So I decided to go anyway and what do you know I found the 3 bottles of anti foamer that it said they had online. I think the staff didn't know where the product was so cancelled the order

Awful staff member very unhelpful bought £100 worth of goods a lot of the things breakable they don’t wrap your things up so if broken I asked do they replace them ,the chubby man replied with a shrug .as I was leaving after struggling to pack my things as I had my very poorly disabled mum with my I said sarcastically thanks for your help he then shouted not my fault they don’t provide us with the things to wrap stuff up I said no but you didn’t help at all and couldn’t even answer a simple question ,this member of staff needs training in customer service .not a happy customer at all

Excellent service today from one if your male staff on the shop floor. Sorry I didn't get his name but he helped us get a copy of an instruction manual which had been missing from the desk we bought. Thanks so much!

Easy shopping experience, fair prices. Not all staff seem aware of where things are and slow waiting times at checkout.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, 2 hours parking, well stocked, convenient for the town centre , plenty of bargains , lots of stuff you want or need, highly recommended

Came on the 17/07/24 with our 2 kids and forgot a trolley token and spoke to a cashier who managed to get a trolley unlocked for us and i was really struggling (2 under 2). We then looked at a reduced to clear sofa and spoke to Jason the floor manager who managed to get us a really good better deal on the sofa and helped break it apart and get it ready for the car. he was so so helpful and lovely in general - thank you for a deal of a lifetime. Unfortunately we got a parking ticket as we overstayed 2 hours trying to fit the sofa in the car and we also stayed for food in the costa (also really good value for money!) But because we stayed it was 10mins over! i went in on the 04/08 after being on holiday to speak to management and ask if there was any way they could help me so we spoke to Sharon (manager) who advised they couldn’t show cctv unfortunately due to gdpr which we totally understood but she helped us print off our food receipt and sofa receipt from the store so we had a time stamp to help us try to appeal the ticket. Thank you for all your time and help Sharon we really really appreciate it and thank you to all the staff who are forever helpful to pretty regular customers 💜

The Range, St Helens, is a cracking shop. It literally has everything under one roof. From home wares to garden furniture, decorating equipment to arts and crafts, pet supplies to cleaning essentials. It also now has an in-store Iceland, for all your frozen goods. Click and Collect option has been rolled out to this store now, too, which is great..!

Has everything you need for the home and decent qu5 but I find these stores untidy, hard to locate items and the bedroom furniture was shabby put together and falling apart. We were going to order some bedroom furniture but served it

Not bad. Nice art and house stuff. Unfortunately they didn't have what we needed. A mark down for not having something that they said they did online and 1 mark down at there were some scruffy youths hanging around

The amount of choice in homewares is really good here and there are some great unique buys. The toilets are very run down & need a refurb.

Good range of products... Just don't leave the carpark unless you're in your car unless you want to get rinsed by private parking thieves.

Wrongly priced items what you think your paying what you actually pay poor practice and when challanged quote we have 24 hrs to change incorrect price. Sorry priced items should be checked and correct you are misleading customers and the staffs attitude stinks

Easy parking. Wide variety of home goods and stationery. Garden furniture section amazing. Friendly staff. Also incorporates an Iceland so can do food shop.

Staff are not very helpful 😒 used to like it in here but it seems to be run by a new manager who was more worried about getting stock out than helping customers

Fantastic variety of products from from decor, decorative ribbon, dishes, duvets, dog food to dinghy's.

Great Range of stock(pun intended) plenty of parking, onsite cafe with a good selection of cakes, desserts sandwiches and hot food. Toilets available in store but only open until 5pm. Good selection of pet supplies. Iceland range of frozen food is limited but is to be expected as it’s not a full Iceland store but you can get a good selection.

Never buy anything from The Range On-line unless you have actually viewed the item in store first. I purchased a set of 4 dining chairs online to replace my existing set which l had purchased a few years ago. They arrived before the delivery date which wasn't a problem apart from the fact they were just dumped outside my back door as the driver had not knocked as l was upstairs when they delivered. The chairs were not the same quality as the previous one's and the description stated they wrre padded with hugh density foam, which they obviously weren't so l rang customer services and arranged for them to be collected and my money refunded. This was on the 18th March 24. I was given a date for collection and stayed in but no one called, so rang customer services again who informed me a driver had been so l stated l had been in the house no driver had called nor left any card to advise that they had been. I was then given another date for collection which also failed and required another conversation and emails with customer services and another date for collection. This time a driver called the day before he was due took the chairs and provided me with a card to confirm they had been collected this was the 26th March 24 and l have still not recieved my refund. I have tried to contact customer service by telephone and email and was advised my refund would take up to 3 to 5 working days which is a joke. Now they are saying they haven't recieved the chairs even though my husband has informed them that he has tracked the parcel and it was signed for as recieved on the 30th March. I am now going to trading standards regarding this as l have still not recieved

I enjoy shopping at the range, it's a good size shop but make sure if you don't know exactly what you are going for to make lots of time to mooch. I am happy that we now have one in Widnes again, but I will still venture to the St Helens store for larger items.

Love this place . They Sell all kinds like garden stuff , paintings,kids toys, stationary choice of stationary is brilliant.. And the prices are really good. Really good store

Range very good selection of most home items. DONT use the car park if you are going elsewhere, you will be fined.

It's packed with so many good things, I could spend a day in there and not see everything. I went in for a trowel and torx set, I also came out with a shower head and a hand clamp.

Best range in the area. MUCH better than the Wigan store. As an artist, The Range is my haven, and this one does not disappoint. Highly recommend. Also has lots of house stuff which is fab.

I purchased some treats over the weekend for my 4 month old kittens only to find that the treats on the shelf were 2months out of date. At this point i had already fed the kittens the pouches.. I discarded the items and contacted them through the WhatsApp but a week later and still haven’t had a response I contacted the range directly as there is no complaints section on the website and was told there’s nothing they can do I’ve been shopping at the range for years and the lack of communication and the little support offered has left a bad taste in my mouth. Check your shelves for OUT OF DATE Food it’s disgusting!

The single biggest problem with this store is the parking. Online there is alot of criticism about it , and I concur . The store is very dirty in the front entrance , not a good impression . Inside they don't have a sinage so you can see what dept you need . It's OK on the outside but not elsewhere ..the staff are OK. But it was very , very quiet . I think the carpark situation is not good for the store .

Called today to try and source a handle for a cord pull light switch and I was assisted by a young lass with long dark hair who was very polite and pleasant. Unfortunately I never got her name but during the course of conversation she apologised.. unnecessarily...for having a hearing problem..very professional outlook.

Never been here before, Widnes closed down. Wife enjoyed searching out next years decorations for less. Pleasant staff , enjoyed the visit.

Overall experience was poor. Scattered unorganised displays with many items missing tags so it was hard to see how much items actually were. Big queue for the checkout with only 2 of the 10 checkouts in operation. Why do retailers do this? They install so many checkouts but only have a few staffed. Penny pinching that why. Not a good place for home goods, go to Dunelm instead.

Nothing is ever priced right so nice surprise when you get to the till and your child has placed multiple unknown items in your trolley. Not many staff around, bit chaotic, cafe is drab and beware the car park if they can give a ticket they will! I avoid it now.

This shop is fabulous,I came for a stroll around and picked things to buy I hadn't intended on buying ,the Christmas isles are full of decorations I was spoilt for choice ,friendly staff staff on tills

The Range is a great place to shop. There's a vast amount of products for everyone, from DIY to Crafts and Decorating. It's especially good at Christmas time with a fantastic range of Christmas decorations both indoor and outdoor.

There's an Iceland inside here too which is handy. The tools and homeware range is good. They sell pretty much everything to be fair. Not sure about the quality of some of the items but prices seem to be good and selection is wide. The pet food and toys etc selection is good and there is quite a good range of arts and crafts stuff too.

I like range as they normally have everything you need.
