Subway in St. Helens

Subway have recently revamped their menu with some new options and some older ones receiving a makeover. The quality is consistent at this branch and it's what you expect from a Subway. The staff however are the best part for me, chatty and pleasant. Easy to talk to and seem interested in their work. Makes all the difference.

Love these salads but second time now ordered and they forgot my south west sauce gutted love that sauce as well 😅

Second time ordering from here, never again! Food was cold, squashed and missing items! I had to toast my son's foot long sub and my toasted pizza. Doritio's were over toasted, cold and hardly any cheese! Disgusting!

I left a note on the order for how I wanted my sub, not read. Items came which I didn't order, probably a substitute but no attempt to contact me was made. the courier was rude at the door. I won't be ordering from subway again on just eat.

very disaapointed wiv my subway order tonight, ordered a foot long philly steak subway meal deal & theres hardly any meat on it just a lot of lettuce, also got a garlic cheese bread & it couldn't be eaten, it was hard, dry very crispy an no cheese on it, I ain't even looked at mine yet but it can't be as bad as the philly steak meal, it's absolutely terrible. very very dissatisfied & disaapointed.

The delivery time was great, however when my order came the driver had 2 bags of food and both of them did not match my order. I sent the food back with the delivery driver and rang the shop to be told this has to go through just eat now there is nothing they can do. Even though it was their mistake for sending the wrong orders out with the delivery driver. I am still waiting for a refund so haven’t even been able to reorder. It’s an absolute joke.

2nd order from Subway today. Original one of mine missing lots. Ended up with a plain salad sub!? So decided as still felt like one to order same from different Subway. they managed to get my sub correct yet forgot to add my drink, crisps & cookie!!!???

I went in this afternoon and a small girl with mousey brown hair and fake tan asked me what I wanted. I told her my order and then she abruptly just went into the back room. I could hear her laughing and joking in there. She was gone for that long a young male had to take my order. I told the person I was on the phone to that it was disgusting (meaning the “customer service” for her) which the girl clearly heard as when she did finally appear she started staring me out. Very weird and bad customer service. Lots of people seem to think the same with a lot of the females that work in this place.

Specifically asked for no cucumber and no tomato and had both on, asked for it toasted which it wasn’t and the sauce with the chicken bites just didn’t come either

MOST ENJOYABLE FOOT LONG CHICKEN TERYAKI WITH LATTE ,MOST ENJOYABLE THE GIRLS IN THERE ARE SPOT ON VERY FRIENDLY STAFF GAVE THEM A BOX OF HEROES CHOCOLATES TO ENJOY 👍👍

was awful, i ordered a create your own foot long sub which included the sub, crisp, cookie and a drink and i didnt receive my cookie drink or crisp and they are trying to charge me to get a refund.

Absolute disgrace. Ordered by collection on just eat to have a quick pick up on my lunch break as I only have 30 mins break. Arrived at Subway St Helens ( ravenhead retail park) I waited for half an hour and my order was still not ready so I did not receive any of my food and had to leave the store empty handed, absolute disaster I will not be attending ever again to this store! I will be wanting a full refund plus a credit on my account. Total incompetence.

staff need training on natashas law. mixing vegan cookie and a normal cookie in the same bag. makes me wonder what other procedures are being broke when prepping food

The wrong melt was sent. Not a bacon & cheese one. Don’t know what it was. Had red pepper & onions in it, possibly chicken? Disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. The second subway I have been to that need training up on cross contamination and allergens. Seriously sort it out. Mixing milk and egg products with non dairy. Not changing gloves when making a vegan sandwich.

When I order poweraid I always get sprite

cottage fries were not worth the money as they were soggy and luke warm. I asked for sauce on the side but it was smothered on sandwich. why have a place for notes if you dont read them. the rest of the meal was good.

The delivery seemed to take ages and the hot portion of the meal was cold and did not benefit from reheating, if the waffle fries are a new product, care should be taken to ensure delivery is prompt!

Early afternoon on a Thursday or not , only one member of staff moving more than snails pace . Was ordering with my girlfriend and between taking our orders the guy making the sandwiches wandered off to do some online orders . Kept me waiting after my girlfriend had been through the till ( so much for ordering together ) Understandable that new people need training but only one member of staff knowing what they’re doing results in them running about like a headless chicken . 2/10 overall

Never get the order right at this place but I can guarantee if their order was wrong, they wouldn't be happy! Keep that in mind!!

Cheese bites were given with no sauce and complete different cookies then what was selected. Sub bread fell apart as I picked it up. Wouldn’t recommend

Not packed well topping everywhere

Two items were missing; there should be some sort of quality control on deliveries to prevent this. The food is okay but the fact that there are missing items spoils the overall ‘treat’ that this meal is.

I got a chicken salad cost over £7 and got like 3/4 bits of chicken

Wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be. Hardly toasted at all, bread very doughy.

Food was cold, mayo added to sandwich instead of BBQ, chicken added to only one half of sandwich no jalapeños or peppers and no cheese on both yet paid for extra on both.

No turkey on turkey sub no cheese no crispy onions

chicken tikka sub was drowning in bq sauce so it was soggy, asked for tomatoes got peppers ,asked for bacon and caramelised onions didn't get them , first time that I've had problems ,usually very good

Ordered four meals and the staff have placed the four heavy drinks on top of the food, so all the subs are crushed. Surely it’s common sense to just use another bag!? Well done!

Ordered 6 inch more like 4 portions was ridiculous! Expect same quality as when your instore!

Ordered a side of crinkle cut wedges along with Mango ang habanero sauce but the sauce was missing from the order. I called the restaurant but the person on the other end was rude and said they can't do anything about it as it is delivered by Just eat.
