Golden Fish Bar in St. Helens

Told part of my meal was not available but still got charged full price. Tried to explain to the kid behind the bar that paying for something you have not got was not right, so could something else be substituted for the missing part. No, the computer says no! All my queries were met with a "I'll see what I can do." But nothing was done! Would highly recommend getting some professional adults to serve. Lack of understanding and lack of interest in myself as a customer. Sorry but I won't visit again.

This was our 2nd visit to this cafe/restaurant and this visit was almost as good (as this time they had run out of paninis ). as we were so impressed last time . but saying that they where very busy and it was between chistmas and new year when we visited we all had a combination of the tasted sandwiches which were really good service was excellant and time for drinks and food to arrive was also good highly recommended

Variety of products and how spacious the shop is a big +. Staff are really friendly and helpful too

Since Jordan has taken over this pub as the landlord it has come on in leaps and bounds, great atmosphere with live acts on every week
