This was our 2nd visit to this cafe/restaurant and this visit was almost as good (as this time they had run out of paninis ). as we were so impressed last time . but saying that they where very busy and it was between chistmas and new year when we visited we all had a combination of the tasted sandwiches which were really good service was excellant and time for drinks and food to arrive was also good highly recommended

Had a very nice lunch in the garden centre restaurant. I had a very nice roast beef baguette with mushrooms, onions, peppers and a pot of gravy. This came with chips. It was filled very thick and very tasty. My wife enjoyed her chicken burger baguette with chips. Would certainly go again

We haven’t been here for a long time and out of nostalgia we came here last night. It used to be a very tranquil space but not so much now however, it was the food that let the place down. We opted for set menu D at £42 each the hot and sour soup was ok but the dim sum was not good looked and tasted like was from COSTCO, some strange options like the rolled beef and the spring rolls it took a while to decipher what these were made of sauces/dips that accompanied were unusual and not in a good way I’m afraid. Crispy duck was fine and only course I enjoyed. Meals that followed sizzling steak ginger spring onion fatty, chewy and Szechuan chicken meat seemed incredibly processed/manufactured which matched the rest of the courses. Not sure there are actual chefs here. We mostly had our cutlery and dishes thrown onto the table literally by a young waiter who definitely needs some help with service delivery/etiquette other staff were efficient and polite enough if seemed somewhat stressed. Overall not a pleasant experience and we won’t be returning.

My husband and I, have been wanting to try here for ages so today we took the plunge. The place was quiet and ordered our meals via the QR code on the table. The drinks came relatively quick'ish. We waited for our meals which were both jacket spuds, which came with salad. However, the salad that came with the spuds was just lettuce, red onion, cucumber and tomato and a very scant amount of bulgar wheat. Whilst on the menu it stated the salad consists of the above-mentioned but with the addition of brown rice, red pepper, kale, soy beans and being french dressed, but there was no sign of these ingredients. Nevertheless the potatoes were nice. Just a shame about the salad that came with it was not complete. Pudding was great though and we'd come back again.

Terrible food. Cesar sald seemed to be half a bag of pre chopped lettuce, supermarket dressing, barely there bacon and soggy left over baguette croutons. Chicken charged extra on a £12.50 dish. Skinny weitd coloured 'Cumberland' sausage. First and last visit
