Big Smoke, Luton Airport – AVOID AT ALL COST! ❌✈️🌮 Absolutely dreadful experience from start to finish. Service was painfully slow, and the staff couldn’t be less interested if they tried. No smiles, no help – just attitude and indifference. The Tex Mex tacos came out stone cold – not even lukewarm! 🌬️🌮 Totally unappetising and clearly just thrown together without care. When we raised it, no apology or offer to fix it. Staff were short, blunt, and downright rude. When I asked to fill up my daughter’s water bottle, they made me leave the restaurant to do it elsewhere! 💧👎 Completely unaccommodating and unnecessary. Most shockingly, the kitchen showed zero care or consideration for allergies – a serious red flag! ⚠️ When asked about allergens, staff looked confused and dismissive. It’s genuinely unsafe for anyone with dietary requirements. The whole place felt chaotic, disorganised, and uncaring. Not what you want before a flight. Save yourself the stress and eat elsewhere. Big Smoke is a big NO. 1/5 – Only because 0 isn’t an option. Avoid like turbulence! 🚫

Would give zero rating if I could. We spoke to staff before being seated about having a gluten allergy and were told to scan the code on the menu displayed. Staff made a fuss as to where to seat us and the table was dirty. When we asked them to clean it they asked us if we could move to another table that had already been cleaned! We refused as we had a toddler and pram with us and demanded they cleaned the table. Then we went to order on the app it told us to order directly with staff due to the gluten intolerance. It was hard to get any service and when we finally did they sent a manager who came and told us they wouldn’t serve us as we had a gluten intolerance!!! Never experienced such bad service or been denied service for an allergy/intolerance. This is discrimination and laziness from the restaurant. Appalling!

Food and drinks are great. Chicken strips and medicine man lager are the best from the menu. Sally is the manager, she has been a star helped us all the way through and the crew is perfect. Praveen has been very helpful with the service and hospitality. Must stop by when you going through Luton airport.

No complaints whatsoever. I had a delicious Mac and Cheese and the service was quick. Farab my server was attentive and smiley, friendly and courteous. Overall a pleasant way to spend my time waiting for my gate.

We only had a coffee and I'm glad. The Americano no milk only was half full and warm not hot. The Latte was ok. Very small cups. Waiter was friendly.

We're really disappointed about being charged twice for our order. The manager's explanation about pending transactions and using a different account isn't ideal, and we're now waiting for a refund.

Natalia has been amazing whilst we were on our way to Tunisa we stopped for some drinks and food, from get go Natalia has been super friendly and approachable we had such an amazing experience before our trip! Thank you so much Natalia you made us us smile and we are set of for a great holiday thanks to your amazing attitude and chat!

Had breakfast this morning at 05:35. No choice of eggs as ‘sold out’ of all but scrambled eggs. Ordered 2 cooked breakfasts & 2 coffees. The food arrive within about 2 minutes. The sausages were revolting, the mushrooms over cooked & greasy as hell, the bacon was a tiny portion of fatty cheap bacon. We had to ask 4 times for the coffee which eventually came as we were ready to leave to catch our flight. The bar where it was coming from was too busy serving pints to service the dining customers. The bill came to £42.65 which included £1.95 for one small slice of soggy toast. I cannot recommend, strongly enough, you avoiding a similar disappointing start to your break away when next travelling through Luton Airport!

The service sucks. The food sucks.

We sat down and there was no table service, we had to ask one of the waiters what was going on. Went to the bar to ask for a drink, the price displayed was different than what I charged, apparently they had the old menus available. And when I asked fir a receipt it took me longer to receive it than getting a drink. Definitely not returning, if I need to be chasing people to get a drink..

Surprisingly good bbq, good smoke taste, speedy delivery to the table, friendly staff. Would be a really good experience outside of an airport and having it inside an airport elevated it to "amazing" level.

Great food. Only issue was, there was only scrambled eggs. Atmal assisted us as the waiter.

Big shoutout to Farab - super professional, attentive without being overbearing, and always had a smile. Top-notch service!

Loved the nachos. The electric eye beer was great. Also our waiter Naga Galaba took great care of us.

We tried couple of beers on tap and beef nachos and it was a great way to finish our holiday. Seats are a treat for an airport pub, so will definitely check it if you're in Luton. Our waither Naga was super great throughout the whole service, totally recommend it.

Today I was served by Summer Giri, he is so helpful, can resolved all situations , needs, with kindness, professionalism. I recommend to give him payrise. The food are excellent, the coffe are the best. Don't have to wait for food. Always ill try to come here to Big Smoke....

We got nachos and burnt end to share. The smoked meat was incredible and portion sizes are generous. We were initially worried it was an order on your phone sorta deal but almost instantly we sat down we were given a menu which was followed by prompt personal service. Devi was our waitress and she polite, sweet and helpful and I wish she was flying my plane!. Overall excellent dining experience.

After a fairly stressful flight in and before our connection home we stopped for food. We were seated immediately and our server Lokesh was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food and the Electric Eye pale ale is really drinkable

the smallest full English I've ever eaten, sausage and beans are not tasty

Food was ok, beer was average. Food did not look as nice of the photos. Not bad but not amazing

On arrival, I was queuing and waited to be seated, I was told the bar only, i dont particulary want to start my day, at a bar surrounded by men drinking, even though there were 2 tables available , which I pointed out to the member of staff, who said there were other people coming to add to an existing group. As I was walking away, the same member of staff, then saw another empty table and she called me to let me know, I came back round to the entrance and walked towards the table, and I was told to wait there, there being at the entrance, whilst she cleaned the table. In a very loud voice, which was quite embarrassing, not very pleasant, and another member of staff clean another table, and I sat down, as I was going to sit, she came back saying, I didn't want you to sit on a dirty table. I waited to be served, as no one had given clear instructions on their ordering system, I asked the people next to me , what the procedure was they explained about scanning the QR code. The online app does not allow customisation of items, so I had to ask for the sourdough toast to be put on the side as I did not want my eggs or avocado on my bread. The first order was done incorrectly even though they were spoken too. The food itself is a simple dish, and was done well. It's a busy place and some staff seemed stressed. When you go to the Airport, your experience should be pleasant, the start of someone's journey to wherever they are going , it was not that, but mediocre. Therefore 3 stars have been given.

Tried to order a gluten free burger, for which the server asked us to order through them rather than on our phone. Not an issue however the manager later came out to say that the burgers aren’t gluten free (despite us checking this online). They offered to swap it for something else so my partner chose the steak, however this may be the toughest steak we’ve ever had. Everyone was kind and all but you’re probably better off going somewhere else.

The morning shift table cleaning service /reception staff were terrible. They left us waiting for 15 minutes to clean a table that was covered in sugar and ketchup. When we asked them to clean it, they made faces and laughed, as if they were in school and not at work. The manager should assign employees to roles they actually enjoy, so they don't have to treat customers poorly.

Nothing on the menu was available, the fact you can order scrambled or poached but for some reason a fried egg isn't available does not make any sense ! No toast with breakfast !!! For the price and absolute rip off, sausage taste cheap and nasty too ! The female didn't want to take our order and basically expressed for us to do it ourselfs on the scanner code ! No smoothies or fresh drinks available, no ice coffee, it's 2025 not ideal being one of the main eating places in the airport ! Major improvements needed and better management in order to be able to serve what is actually listed on your menu ! Certainly not worth almost £45 !!!! You'd think it was made from gold !

Waiter was haughty and not in good form. Sorry to see. Also asked for a taster of a drink to see if itv was worth buying, I was sent to the bar to do so myself. Tacos were cold and pork burnt ends were mostly fat. Won’t be going back there.

Excellent food and service. The waiters are all very friendly and attentive. The food was 10/10 for an airport restaurant; everything was delicious.

The staff here are doing an excellent job. In particular, Devi as a server and Shravani as a host stood out and made sure I had all I needed. Well done !!!

Stop there for lunch of burgers and beer before my flight. They let u order using a barcode which is very efficient. Food was hot and arrived quickly. On the cons: price of burger and draft beer was approx 30 squid and the burger was a little too charred for my taste. Oh, and the onion rings were from actual real onion and not synthetic mash :)

Insisted we had to order using QR code on table even when we asked for a menu. I don’t know anyone who thinks QR codes make for a good customer experience. Time to move away from this Covid nonsense.

Lovely food and wonderful service from SREELAKSHMI lovely waitress accommodating our needs for comfortable dining, in particular for my autistic son!! So grateful for a happy experience - will be back xx

Excellent for airport food. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus for lunch. Delicious, and the service was super attentive.

Had the chicken wings and the pork burnt ends, both badly cooked and lacking seasoning, the craft beer was lovely however, as was the impeccable service
