Big Poppas Pizzas in Northumberland

I ordered house special marinated kabab it was extremely good and worth for the money.

Always very nice food, well cooked, not greasy at all, friendly staff

Would have been nice but pizza was overcooked, base was hard and sauce was watery.

Ordered via Uber Eats. When I placed the order it stated 10-30 mins for delivery but then as soon as I paid it changed to 1.5 hours! In reality it took 2 hours for our food to arrive!! (I ordered just before 5pm and it didn't arrive until just after 7pm). This was with me ringing up a number of times to chase the order also. Despite only living around 5 miles away the delivery driver (helpfully) told me that they do not deliver to our area. So why on earth accept the order via Uber Eats?? Shocking service. Food was ok when it did eventually arrive but would certainly never order from there again. If you are not prepared to deliver within a 5 mile radius then perhaps don't accept the orders once you know the customer's postcode??

Wow the pizza is to die for 😍 asked for it extra cooked and that’s exactly what I got would highly recommend

I’m never ordering from this place again, sent me notifications that my food was on the way I had waited almost 2 hours just to be told it’s cancelled, what a joke

I ordered food tonight 23/07/22 Food was well over cooked, especially pizza, base was hard and chewy. The chips few I actually ate tasted like they'd been cooked twice. And the customer service from male member staff I talked to was despicable. He apologies, but basically said he wouldn't do anything about it. I wod definitely recommend they pay more attention to food when they get high amount of orders and not let there food be sent out in such the poor quality it was tonight. If a restaurant or take away is too busy that's the time to stop anymore orders coming in, because the food was definitely affected by this. He said he had 70 orders. Exactly my point why the food was sent out low standard burnt, over cooked . I offered to come to restaurant and let him taste it and tell me that its fine but he would not. Big thumbs down lack customer service and poor quality food. Busy or not, that food is not acceptable.

Absolutely terrible! Ordered at 6:05pm it’s not 8:40pm. Called at 8pm to ask where my order was they told me food would be ready in 10 minutes. Call again at 8:30 told driver was on his way. Food did not arrive until 9pm. Really bad service. Would not recommend

Pizza burnt and base stale, cardboard chips, garlic sauce pot half full. Waited 2 1/2 hours for delivery. Won't be ordering again.

Got a wrap the other night.. Chips were 100% from the night before and it tasted of mould the kebab and garlic... I have been in the past and was giving a 12" mouldy pizza on the bottom. Really carnt understand how this place is still open as the shops dirty aswell

Honestly I have never had a burned parmo with no sauce ever and pizza so tough you need a set of pliers to sperate it. No chips or sauce given with anything. Wish I'd seen the abysmal reviews first x

We ordered from here for the first time. It will be the last. Waited two hours. Garlic bread was burnt, and the base was a thick as an alloy wheel and rock hard and greasy. Kebab wrap was awful. Cheap and nasty meat. ( if it was even meat) just a load of soggy brown mush. Very disappointing.

Waited 1.5 hours for delivery and it was cold when it arrived. Barely any chicken at all. Really disappointing, I won't be back

Ordered a meatball pizza and took a bite out of my second slice only to be hit in the face with a strand of black hair INSIDE the pizza!!😡😡Absolutely disgusting, never ordering from here again and I will definitely advise others not to

2hr 40 mins late, kept telling me driver was on way or order had just left wouldnt be lonf....constantly engaged. 'Phoned' driver could not get in touch, then told driver had broken down. Then told he was literally round the corner....Nothing When driver arrived asked him what I had been told he had no contact from shop nor had he broken down, food luke warm pizzas burnt....Only to be given a rock hard pizza which completely wrong. Stay away

Ordered for the first and last time this evening. Simple order, chicken kebab with salad, pizza and onion rings. Food arrived 1 hour 20 mins later on a Tuesday. Kebab was chicken tikka, not as ordered and was so salty, it was inedible. The pitta bread was crumbling. Salad and garlic sauce fine. Pizza was undercooked and the onion rings soggy. Very disappointed. Waste of money as most of it went in the bin 😔

The garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms is to dead for I would eat it every day if I could. The staff are really really nice and friendly.

I ordered at half 11, sat round waiting for an hour (hungry...), then got a call at half past midnight to say the driver had apparently “”broken down”” (which I do not believe), and that my food would not be arriving. The service here is absolutely terrible. They will leave you waiting and not even bother sending your food out. Do not waste your time on this place!!! Avoid at all costs. Now I guess I’m going to bed without eating anything... thanks a lot for that, guys!!

Been before really enjoyed food , unsure what’s happened totally changed, food dry, cold and just ready to be put in a bin not on a plate, Never seen Nan breads like it, they were like a week old loaf crumbling , cracking not soft at all. Even the bike seat ones ya get from super market would have been better, Staff didn’t care at all said 100% fresh from night before!!! Hahhaha I would think twice about it, if ya looking for food before you order, Almost 2 hours wait on delivery as well But you expect some edible food after a long wait , Totally disappointed it use to be very nice ! ‘Not Now’

Order regularly from here - Amazingly tasty food, great value for money and always early on the delivery times. Staff are super friendly and food is so tasty, especially the chicken tikka wraps! Chicken is really moist and fresh and well marinated, lush! Just perfect! Thanks :)

Took an hour and a half to come. And when it eventually did it was absolutely freezing to a point where the pizza and chips went hard used to order regularly from this place but after tonight never again total let down.

Wouldn’t go again. Ordered at 6:15 and didn’t get the order until 8:10 40 minutes late the food was cold and when I rang to see where it was the person on the phone was very rude! And They forgot my garlic sauce customer service was shocking!

Excellent Takeaway and excellent prices. Ordered a few times now and can't complain at all. Pizza has a beautiful thin crisp base with plenty of toppings. Kebab meat is beautiful and the added bonus of them covering it up whilst on the rotator is great for food hygiene. The fried chicken is beautiful, moist chicken with a crispy thin coating. No excess grease either. Make sure you try the coleslaw and the garlic bread with cheese. You won't regret it.
