Always hits the spot, decent food, drive thru is a pain as always a long queue to the drive thru so have to wait for that to go. Down before we can park. Went here again aug 24. Lovely as always but very pricey now and the portions have hone smaller, but always hits the spot

Avoid the English breakfast, I've had better at McDonald's for less. Its all out of a bag🤮

Saw this at 1am whilst on the ring road and decided to go. Drive thru was busy and took a good few minutes to get served. Went for the southern fried chicken burger with chips which was a good choice, however 1 star deduction because the chips could've been salted more, warmer and less soggy.

Chips are the embodiment of sadness. Lumpy and cold and with every bite I feel the need to vomit. My cats gagged on it as well

Big John’s never disappoints. The food is lovely and delicious. I would like to give a special mention to Yousaf who works on the Drive Thru. He is exceptionally polite and always leaves me with a smile on my face. Thank you for your hard work.

Menu items seem to have reduced, although there are many behind the counter the speed at which meals are prepared, cooked and served leave alot to be desired.

Best fast food pizza in Birmingham- potentially the best in the uk imo. This is the only place I’ve found where the base and the cheese is actually cooked and not just a raw mushy doughy mess. The chips are amazing too. Everything else on the menu is mediocre but the pizza saves it

We always go here to eat in store. It's quite busy and at times you have to wait for a table but cleaners are fast and food is always tasty.

Best big johns around. Clean, foods always hot and fresh. Sauces tasty and chips are really nice. Always very clean when we have eaten in.

Really disappointed with quality of pizza. there was barely any sauce on the base, so pizza was really dry, toppings were sparse and hardly any cheese.

Absolutely disgusting customer service waited over an hour for our food...finally got to speak to a vile member of staff who stated they had called...no missed call and had come to my address, I advised 5 times I had 2 cameras that alert in the house and a Rottweiller so we could never have missed the order...absolute joker calling us liars...they had never been and soo rude...customer service shocking...if I could score a zero I would...just an addition to the appalling reviews they already have ..avoid at all costs

Big Johns itself is great however to put it into context the Head Office Number you get directed to is terrible there is an Asian Man behind the phone who will be extremely passive agressive and will pass off anything as I quote “we have a business to run”, we don’t care about your custom! I find any service in Big Johns rude disrespectful with no Emotional empathy and therefore as a brand has no human connection! I will not be spending my hard earned money with such poor service!

We paid £26 for two fish and chips the portion size was small even though we ordered large and of corse being big johns we had to pay extra 50p for ketchup. How can that even be justified. Pure rip off won’t be going there again.

The food is good but to charge £3.29 for a meal upgrade - a can and a portion of chips - is a bit steep. And the music was so loud I could hardly hear what they were asking me - and judging by me requesting different sauces and only getting 4 x taco sauce - the staff struggled too.

the burger toppings menu is all wrong. it's says no lettuce which means if you want lettuce you need to click on it. please sort the menu out. I ordered 5 burgers and they all come with things I didn't want in them. next time I will get pics taken and get a full refund on them. very disappointed

We heard about the milkshakes here so we had to try it! Safe to say they were a 10/10. The chocolate one was my favourite but the strawberry one was just as nice.

This is the best place to get your sausage muffin and breakfast goods. I've always wanted to try a sausage muffin but there were no halal versions of it anywhere. We order from here once in a while and it's always satisfying. Usually order of a delivery platform but recently started going to pick myself which is cheaper. Give their double sausage muffin a try!

Friendly staff- we go there mainly for the vanilla milkshake- friendly and polite. Thank you.

Wings and chips and loaded chips were really good 👍 Service is VERY slow 🐌 so expect your patience to be tested. At till you are asked whether eating in or takeaway. Your answer doesn't matter, you order will be packed and sealed regardless 😒

the pizza was good but the ice blast I ordered the cup had a hole in the side making it leak all over

I like it as halal food, but when comes to kebab, it need improvement, I don't recommend it, it's spicy, not fresh, like the frozen brand from any supermarket, better you get kebab from a speclisied restaurant. I recommend pizza, other food and milkshake.

Food is quite good, a wide range of items available, from pizza to fish and chips, and the prices are reasonable too. They have a drive through which makes it easier to order and they then bring the food to your car once it's ready. The inside is nice and clean too but sometimes a bit cold. Toilets are clean. The service is generally quite good but there a few servers who could be more helpful and cheerful in their tone, especially if the customer is new/ordering a new item. I have been quite a few times now and would recommend.

We found a hair in the food but they changed it without a problem but that is not an excuse to be hyjenic

They never put donner meat on pizza despite leaving a note . This has been done on a few occasions. Not happy! You may aswell take the pizza topping off your menu

Had couple of cheeseburgers and a wrap , wrap was somewhat good burgers where awful, also it took them long time to cook even tho restaurants was nearly empty, can’t recommend it , better go to McDonalds

This is an overall review since I’ve tried this place a few times (both eat in and out). Their doner meat is not very nice and they really need to change suppliers. Their peri peri chicken is ok but basic. I’ve ordered pieces of southern fried chicken for my cats and although they gobbled it down it’s always looked old. Their sauces are from a company called Blenders and not as good as Heinz. The one menu item that deserves a ten gun salute is their fish and chips. I’ve ordered this three times now for myself and family (photo below of my portion from last order). I know some people complain about the amount of chips but for me the portion size is perfect. The fish is juicy and tender. The batter utterly divine especially the parts you scrape off. Definitely one to try before you die.

staff took 10 minutes to serve me when i was standing at the counter in a completely empty shop, received my food without any sauce and they took 5 minutes to give it to me after i asked for it. staff are completely incompetent and the panini was dry.

Just finished my night shift took me and my wife to get some desi breakfast but when the food arrived there was Hair in my desi breakfast not happy 🙃 avoid sorry to the sister at the till.

I ordered spicy chicken wings, a slice of pizza, and french fries. It was a lot of food and delicious for a total of 6 pounds. My friend ordered a hamburger, but the hamburger was not worth the price.

I wandered into Big John's looking for a quick bite and damn I hit the jackpot! Ordered a sausage, bacon, and egg muffin with desi tea for just £3.50. At that price, I thought they'd hand me an empty bun and a teabag. Instead, I got a muffin that was a tower of meaty, eggy goodness and a tea so flavorful I swear I heard it say, "Good morning, sunshine." It's like my breakfast did yoga in the Himalayas before landing on my plate. If you're ever in need of a wallet-friendly, belly-filling miracle, Big John's is your spot. Just be careful—you might start measuring all life events in muffin units. Five stars? Heck, make it five stars and a standing ovation!

If you want to wait 30 mins for your fast food order in a dirty car park with rats running around and then get the rudest staff to grunt at you and just throw you your bag of food giving you the most attitude, this is the place for you.

For fast food, it's very good. A bit pricey for junk food. When I get time, I'll do a full review Edit... The food here is good (for a fast/junk food restaurant). Food selection of items. Many people have complained about the fish and chips portion size. I've found this to be a hit n miss. Some days good and some days it's bad. They literally give a few chips! I paid £10.95 and they gave like 15 pieces of chips! See the pic!

I totally left McDonald's breaky since I tried Big John's one. They Muffins and baps are killers. And the hot drink is offered with any breakfast items. Can't go wrong. I just wish they muffins were toasted and the service was a bit faster, but...

Unprofessional and Extremely rude customer service !!! I was given a small portion of burnt chips which got overlapped by a fresh batch . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as I ordered twice and the same thing happened twice. I don't know whether the service has downgraded over the years or staff without any experience are hired

unfortunate service this time round from Big John's which is usually good. Last day for Iftari, and food had to be chased up twice. Driver was in a car, no excuse for being that late. When it arrived, food was soggy and cold. Unedible. Paid a fortune for something I had to chuck in the bin. Would not order from the Lawley location again. Orders should not be taken if the location of the customer is too far to travel to in time, and if the quality of the product will be poor on arrival.

Pizza cut unevenly and doughy in the centre. Toppings were burnt and was not really enjoyable.

The food was warm and good for the most part, but the chips were overcooked and not fresh.

Had a couple of bad times here, but overall it's an excellent joint. Food is a bit of a hit or miss depending on what you get, but it's still a loveable place.

Early delivery wasn't an issue for us, great tasty good, only issue was that the chickpeas were a little cold

Haven't received my food and driver marked my food deliverd. keep calling restaurant and they giving me same answer driver is on it way, its been going on for half an hour now.

Food was very cold curry sauce was not warm at all had to warm it up in microwave again the wings was to over cooked.

Some of the food was made in the morning and delivered it taste was off n cold.
