I’m really loving the breakfast menu, absolutely love the offers. My only suggestion would be to make the hot drink after the food is prepared as I don’t like my coffee warm or cold and to fill the cup it’s always like half full or flange the size of the cup. Staff are friendly and have great service.

Someone remind me not to go here again. Overpriced frozen-patty "beef" burger. Over-sauced. An apprehensive Drive-through order in a place that was hardly busy - I had to go inside to find out what was taking so long. Over-manned, under-worked staff with little or no customer-facing experience. I should have been patient and gone to Ben's on Stratford Road! Unik Burger, a little further up from Ben's serve you an excellent value-burger at almost half the price this place charges.

£6,50 for this chicken it was ok chips not so,good , this place has gone downhill they really don't care about the food they serve you I'd rather go to k.f.c portion size dreadful

Definately not my kind of Pizza - partial refund given. Tried BJs years ago at the Kings Heath (now closed) - for obvious reasons, fancied something HOT as its -4 degrees and working the night shift for emergency services. Pizza was a real let down, not to my caliber or satisfaction. Lesson learnt - only good for using a quick pitt stop for WC. ATTACHED 2 photos of Poor Pizza and a Great pizza from a totally different outlet. Female clerk was great, respectful and helpful. Food is not to my standards. Sorry but have to giv honest review.

Seems like they dont like to give out boneless breast chicken piece when thats what you ordered, if thats the case remove it from the menu ive had this issue 3 times, first time i checked my food and went back and they changed it for me so its not like it was finished, second time i got 2 leg pieces who on earth is happy with 2 leg pieces and third time they sent me home with just chips no chicken at all, workers need to wake up or have somebody check the order before dispatching

Food is super tasty and you can get a lot of value for money with the saver menu. The guy at the drive through in the night time is always super friendly so great service.

the worst donner i have ever had. worse than a frozen donner. can't be dryer. even dryer than chips. and who the hell would put the sauce at the bottom of donner instead of on top? excepting me to mix it myself? and the sfc wings stinks. personally recommend GDK and king kebab. GDK is a bit expensive but juicy meat and at king kebad it is delicious and comes with twice as much meat than Big Johns

DO NOT ORDER I ordered and waited almost 2 hour for food and when it arrived o receive ed frozen pizzas and stale chips and when I called staff 3 times they were about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot. DO NOT ORDER

Never returning. Difficult to work out their system. Had to wait for food... staff wander round a large car park looking for cars despite parking close. No choice of small portion of fish so expensive. The fish was sickly. Threw it away. No idea what they were serving but tasted auful. A bad experience in total.

Food was ok, but I had to use the bathroom with my daughter and it wasn't clean. The walls and skirting boards had so much dust and it was clearly visible. Bathrooms need to be clean in a food establishment

Chips - were a good size and chunky, but dry Fish - had a thick batter and empty with hardly any fish Curry - sauce was nice Drive through experience - there are two lanes that go into one, but access is poor if there is queue on the left hand side lane, so I parked up and went inside to place my order, the shop was clean Packaging - looks nice, but it’s the quality of meal that counts at the end of the day and this was bang average In terms of value for money: Huge disappointment.

Very busy on match days. Can have long waits for your food. They won't serve pepsi or coca cola as they believe it will help Palestine. Go good generally ok though

Got sent a fine from the car park when I was eating inside

I've been on 2 occasions, weekend and mid week visit. Both occasions went through drive-through and on BOTH occasions had to wait in car park for them to complete the order, not great. Fast food should be just that, but waiting 15 mins in the car park is not fast at all. The food wasn't bad but wasn't worth the price. Don't think I'll be visiting a third time. Kebab wasn't anywhere near as fresh as what I have regularly elsewhere, and the chips were warm, not hot.

They have stopped putting chilli and mayo on there food , have can you not out chilli and mayo on my chips even though i was willing to pay extra ? Thats stupid especially knowing its a fish and chip shop franchise which also sells fried chicken , pizza etc...wont be coming back in a rush

Paying £7.99 for something that could feed a toddler! My local chippy gives double the amount for less. Its sad because the food was so fresh and delicious, not your moneys worth though

Big John’s is a popular spot with a lively, welcoming atmosphere, especially bustling late at night. I often go there, and it never disappoints. I recently ordered the SFC burger and loaded chips, and both were delicious—the chicken was well-seasoned, and the chips were properly loaded. The menu is large and reasonably priced, with plenty of options. The staff provide excellent service, and the vibrant lighting and ambiance make it a great place to visit, whether you’re grabbing a meal or hanging out with friends, it’s definitely a place you must go. Never heard of this brand before, never been or seen anything to do with it. Working in the area, me and my colleague seen this place and quickly popped in to grab a bite to eat mid way throughout a busy day. Safe to say we were so impressed! Stunning food, so much choice, speedy service, and left with very full bellies! Would love to see you guys branching out now to Wales, as I truly think you guys offer that difference to many other food places throughout the UK. That's coming from someone who travels a lot throughout the UK and is often eating on the road. Can't wait to return to try more of your food. My only negative... garlic mayo was awful. Please look at a different brand!

Imagine getting a parking ticket for using the car park to eat big John's good and then get told we can't do anything about it. I hour 30 mins stay but then it takes 45 mins to get your food so make that make sense. But people who throw the rubbish on the floor don't get a ticket but the ones that were parked up and waiting for their food do. Absolute joke ! Big John's needs to make it clear to their customers about the wait time.

I don't know whey they have a drive through when you order they ask you to wait in the car park. After 10 minutes had to go in myself to find out what's going on.

Drive through service is very slow even though its a chippy. Staff have a comunication barrier they got our order wrong twice which i had to go in to sort out. But overall food wasnt too bad chicken breast fillet was nice and succulent the tripple cheese burger patties are soo nice definately will reccomend the burger. Chips where fresh but very stingy with the sauces and charge 50p for sauces which you dont get much off.

Can go wrong with Big John's, excellent drive thru with quick service,hot food on the go or meals (with chunky chips). Haven't disappointed as yet. Taste and presentation very sharp. They have a wide variety of drinks and a generous menu including desserts.

I only entered to use the loo lool, but I got a good look, and it looked quite nice. I got my food through the drive-through while on my way back to London. It honestly was really good. They really should consider expanding and bringing these to London. It's like an amalgamation of pizza hut, burger kind, and Nandos.

the food was quite cold by the time it got here. its disappointing how on just eat, for drinks the only option they give for drinks is passion fruit or water. they have so many different drinks in their restaurants so not sure why they do this.

Ordered over 2 hours ago, told me another 15 minutes after that, they said another 15 minutes. I requested compensation through the app and the company had the audacity to refuse it. It's been another half an hour since they refused compensation and still no food. Absolute joke of a restraunt. Imagine if it was my last bit of money for food, what would I do now. Hungry, no money and having to wait over a week for my money. Absolute joke, should of been honest from the beginning.

However yesterday we ordered 6 spicy chicken wings on the side and im telling you it was one of the most disgusting wings we ever had. It smelt like the chicken was not even washed such a bad odour to it we had to throw in the bin, It was that bad.

it was pretty mediocre at best, not the same as when I usually order. I'm very upset I didn't get my sauces to go with the food. I paid an extra £1.50 as well for sauces and I get nothing.

We are currently on holiday in England. We saw the restaurant as we were driving past and then looked it up on the internet and were pleasantly surprised. We drove there a day later. The place was a complete disaster. Really bad organisation, you had to wait a long time for the food to arrive, which was also because the orders of several customers before me were packed incorrectly and my order was also incorrect. Reading is probably not an attitude indicator here. The food was OK, maybe even too spicy, but nothing really special. There was also no knife. The atmosphere is crap, the music keeps cutting out of the speakers, there is a constant loud banging from the kitchen. I wouldn't eat here again.

I spent over £50 on an order, including a 16" pizza for collection, along with other items. I was served by an Asian girl, and I specifically requested red chicken and other toppings on my pizza. Despite paying £18 for the pizza, there was no red chicken, the mushrooms were burnt, and the whole pizza was dry. I called and spoke to someone named Jimmy, who assured me they'd make a new one if I came back. However, when I returned the next day, they refused to help. The girl at the pizza section claimed Jimmy no longer worked there and was extremely rude. The customer service was appalling, making me go all the way back only to be turned away. I’ll never use them again.

I'd not eaten from this place in at least 20 years until today I happened to be in area with husband and son. We were hungry so I suggested we grab something from here, expectations weren't very high. Son had southern fried chicken burger meal, I has 2 piece chicken meal and husband had fish n chips. The chicken was way better than KFC, really enjoyed it. Chips were nice and the fish was huge. My son loved his burger too. Totally exceeded my expectations, will be back again !

Big johns has fell off so bad over the past 2/3 years. The only reason I order from here is because there’s nowhere else open and every time the food quality gets worse. That’s very hard to pull off so round of appliance for that 👏🏽 chips are ALWAYS undercooked, donner tastes like it’s been sitting out for 3 hours, chicken quality is poor. Have a word with your workers please because they really don’t care about what they serve people!

Went there last night for dinner, on drive through Hafsa assisted us very well and helped us choose the right options. She helped us by explaining everything very nicely. 5☆ for her customer service and food is always the best. Highly recommend.

We went to the drive through and it took forever. Once we got to the window we were asked to park and wait for our food. We were there for 15 minutes in total which is long for a drive through. The food wasn't particularly nice and tasted like old oil had been used.

While on a business trip from NYC to the UK, I attended a team-building event and decided to try some food from this location. The Pakistani girl who served me yesterday seemed uninterested and unfriendly, failing to crack a smile. When I asked her questions about the menu, she appeared exhausted and unhelpful, simply saying 'either take it or leave.' I had a horrible experience at this location, particularly with this individual. It highlights a lack of training and poor management!

well, I would like to say all is good but unfortunately I always find that there are items missing from orders. for the past 3 times the number of drinks cans have been less. I try n call the restaurant but no answer, it's quite frustrating, especially when there are guests in the house.
