Appalling service, and exceptionally rude door staff. We were turned away despite having a booking for 17.15, and told “our system doesn’t work, cone back at 18.30”. I appreciate it was busy gif s big event, but in that case turn off the bookings system and just take walk-ins. It was more the manner of the gentleman (very loose term…) manning the door in a manner akin to a nightclub bouncer that really caused the issue Avoid…

Honestly the worse dinner experience I’ve had. Was told it was 2-4-1 drinks but only at the bar so ended up waiting in a line for 30+ mins and my food went cold. All whilst my sever waked around doing nothing. This was a joke by the time I even got back to my table my food was cold and ended up leaving early. A real disappointment and won’t come back. Food previously here and in other Big Easy venues has been good however the service has been the thing that is now continuously letting us down

Took my partner as previously enjoyed the lunchtime deal. 1st our Waitress Keisha was friendly, proffesional great customer service. Unfortunately evening experience not so good we reserved a table arrived 15 mins b4 sat down drinks came then food didn't arrive until 1hr later! Reason given by another server they had an influx of diners! No excuse!It's a large restaurant its the weekend double your staff you already add a service charge...My brisquet burger was cold on arrival ptnr lobster & shrimp roll was small mostly shrimp 2 bits of lobster, salad you could fit in a ramekin proseco glass was tiny. Not worth 24.50. The Mac n Cheese was lovely 2 can share but also overpriced at 13.50. The brisquet & hot links burger when reheated was nice well seasoned. Oreo shake is yummy. I've had the original food in US & they give better portion sizes if you don't finish you take a doggy bag . The lobsters on others plates were small. Do not know why UK are stingy with food portions & think that the price they charge is reasonable. Not really impressed with the band they dropped musical keys you couldnt differentiate the keyboard from the guitar,singer was bla & it was too loud. Some people may want to have a normal discussion whilst dining without shouting. Possibly have specific band nights. The pic shows portions larger than what they are, No burger pic as I inhaled mine as was starving after long wait lol. Will come again but will have lunchtime menu & the other branches.

Popped in for an early dinner on the way to an event at the Olympic Park and it was OK. We both had sandwiches which were a bit small for the price and didn't include fries but were tasty enough. Other half had a coffee which was delivered with most of it in the saucer! OK for a quick bite but not great.

Bank holiday Monday - boozy brunch ordered… we almost listened to the sub par reviews and didn’t come. But we are glad we did and were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it’s busy but it was a bank holiday! Food was great and plenty of it! Drinks were flowing as long as you can catch the attention of the staff. Give this place a try - you won’t regret it!

Honestly, don't even waste your time here. We expected it to be busy as it's good friday. It took 10 minutes to get seated, and then we sat there for a further 35 minutes without anyone coming to take any type of order from us. The table didn't even have forks. We were told the forks should follow when they take our order, but that never happened. After other couples arrived after us and got served before us, we decided to leave. Severely under staffed. If you are going to eat at this place, go during the week.

8 colleagues booked for a leaving party, music was great. Service appalling. No one cleared our main meals away and we sat for over an hour with dirty plates, no one asked if our meal was OK, and no one offered us drinks.

Came here for dinner and was very nice! The staff were lovely. Came for my mums birthday and they brought out some ice cream to help us celebrate! A lovely environment with live music!!

Pleasantly surprised, had seen mixed reviews. The staff were friendly and courteous. The service was initially slow but once we ordered our meals these arrived in a timely way. Our starters of chicken wings and potato skins were excellent the former coming with two sauces and accompanied by prawn crackers. Our mains were ribs and fries and lobster Mac and cheese and these were really nice. Mid range price, 5 out of 5 would have been no service charge as we would have gladly left a tip

So.... me and the wife booked for valentines day and the Big Easy has changed. We sat down and was told that happy hour for cocktails was on for another half hour. We were told that if we wanted the happy hour cocktails we'd have to go to the bar and get them ourselves as you cant have happy hour at the dinner table. So my wife went and bought our drinks at the bar herself. The waitress then came back and took our fold order. Gone are the voodoo prawns of old the 3 massive jumbo battered prawns which were a culinary delight replaced with 5 smaller tiger prawns in bread crumbs rather than a good batter as before. The the main meal came. The wife ordered the californian lobster roll and for £25 plus £4.50 for fries totalling £29.50 there was hardly any lobster filling in the roll it was a total rip off. I ordered a BBQ tasta rama £23.50 with hot links £3 and fries £4.50 on the side. The pulled pork was ok but the Louisianna Rib was so dry and tough it was inedible so I left it, the chicken was also unbelievably dry and after 2 mouthfuls I couldn't eat any more. The wait staff did not ask us if we were ok ask us if we needed any sauces or if we would like a drink through the entire meal. When we had finished a member of staff asked if he could clear the plates I pointed to the food and informed him that it was dry and inedible and we werent happy that no one had come over his reply was. Do you want me to pack it for you to take home? He then asked a different member of staff to come over and we explained it to her she told us that she couldnt help and asked if we want to speak to a supervisor? We said yes. She called a supervisor over who asked us and we said the same again and he supervisor asked us if we'd like to speak to a manager. The manager never came but the supervisor did come back and reduced the bill by £13. Considering the main meal cost nearly £30 and all I ate was the tiny portion of fries which I paid extra for, The hot links which I paid extra for, the handful of pulled pork and the coleslaw I felt ripped off. Just to rub salt in the wounds they added £8 service charge onto the bill for a non existant service that turned the gesture of money off for poor food as an insult. We left at that point it was clearly no longer about the food as it used to be and we couldnt be bothered to argue. Will not be going back

Highly disappointed. We were seated in nicely. Unlimited Bbq was not worth it. Only the chicken was edible. The Corn bread was drier than the Sahara desert. One could actually choke from the dryness of it. We asked for more chicken and it never came..we opted to pay as it was getting late. Busy times I must say but at least the unlimited Diet Cokes get refilled. The salad was miniscule. The lobster was meh. Overcooked and rubbery. The chips was perfect. The staff were lovely. Shame about the food though. Ambience was very nice. I was embarrassed as I booked it for my sister's birthday. Not coming back.

Poor value, poor service and poor food. Ordered the rack of baby ribs £22 and they were cold and not fully cooked and also expensive for what you get. Had to work very hard to get staff attention and then food and drinks took ages. Had an event to get to so didn’t have time to wait for replacement food and complain etc. It was both my first and last visit.

We were shopping and popped in for a spot of lunch. We went for the lunch deal - main and drink for £10, add a starter or dessert for £5. Our waitress Cris was lovely, she answered all our questions and was very friendly. Despite being on the reduced lunch menu the portions were big.

Foolishly paid our 2nd visit here Pre West Ham game and got the identical poor experience. The main reason being the upstairs bar not being open again, last time we were told was due to staff shortages. Please don't take as many table bookings if you are going to allow walk-ins to stand at the downstairs bar where it was 8 people deep. We manged to get 2 drinks in nearly 2 hours and the table next to us got their 1st drink 30 mins after their food arrived. All the ice had melted in our drinks when they arrived, I felt sorry for the staff they were doing their best under bad circumstances. this is clearly a situation of poor management or greed, this whole problem could have been resolved by having the bar open upstairs or allowing less walk-in to the bar, Never again

Been here before but did not write a review. Returned for lunch before some shopping and the food was excellent, service was fantastic and the price was great as we had the lunch special. My son had the steak and he was very happy - he thought considering the price it would not be very good - but he is happy to go back again and again. One of my top places for a lunch when I am in the area.

A freezing cold Saturday you’d think they’d turn the heating on, but had to keep coat and scarf on for most of the meal. Food itself is overpriced and of basic quality. £70+ bill just not worth it. Busted with friends before House of Khufu opposite. Front of house were not exactly overworked, or welcoming. Both ordering drinks and bills were problematic with staff in no hurry to do either.

First time here, having already become a fan of the Canary Wharf branch. Great food (go for the blow out, best value!) and super service from Cris - definitely recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend Stratford Big Easy, food was cold and plate portions were smaller than any other of the big easy branches. Servers had about as much life in them as the cold meat on my plate. Don’t waste your money folks!
