Unfortunately, this lovely neighbourhood gem has closed down permanently. The wonderfully tasty food and warm family atmosphere are much missed.

Este es el restaurante chino informal local perfecto. El personal es siempre muy amable y acogedor. La comida se sirve rápidamente y es deliciosa. Como somos locales, venimos aquí cada dos semanas aproximadamente, y nunca nos ha decepcionado haber pasado por la mayor parte del menú. Precios muy razonables. Sin duda lo recomiendo si estás en la zona.

Durante las vacaciones de dos semanas, dio un paseo por el barrio. Lugar pequeño y agradable al lado de un cruce de licencia y cebra. Los entrantes de calamares y costillas llegaron rápidamente, con un sabor exquisito y no tan grasientos como se esperaba. Los fideos picantes llegan al lugar con ricos sabores y muchos mariscos en la mezcla. Lugar perfecto para tener una comida imbuida con el cuidado y el amor de los propietarios.Vale la pena una parada si en la zona, zona tranquila y pacífica también.

Terminamos en Philip Lane cuando nos dimos cuenta de que era la hora del almuerzo y decidimos ingresar a Big Bowl Noodle para no mirar más lejos. No hay expectativas en absoluto. Y los fideos eran simplemente deliciosos. Y la sopa. Y el curry picante. El hombre que nos servía (probablemente el dueño) estaba a una distancia respetable y disfrutaba viéndonos comer con una sonrisa en su rostro. Se puede decir que se preocupa por su servicio.¡Lo recomiendo altamente!

Really enjoyed the food in here, starting from appetizers Calamari, and then noodles with prawns and chicken chow mein. Also had tea for two and cucumber salad, total bill came to £26 which is a good price

Very clean Chinese taste, not just greaseful stuff. Ho fan fanatics do come here and have the real McCoy. Very nice airy atmosphere, attentive staff, very polite owner, I just wished I lived in area. Seven Sisters people are spoilt for a choice. Beef black bean sauce and ho fan duo, with starter Prawn toast, best of the best.

If you live within the Haringey area and like Chinese food, It'll be unwise to miss out on this little gem of a Chinese Bistro situated on Philip Lane. Great food, great service and at a great price.

Lots of vegetarian options, all very tasty ! they always ask you if you want the noodles without egg. (vegan) The best orange juice!! super fresh they made it in the spot ! i could eat there everyday... Plus is super clean!!!

Ordenados el sábado a la hora del almuerzo. Claramente recalentados sobras de la noche anterior. Bajo arqueadas, insípido cosas con ingredientes escasos (muy pocos langostinos gambas en el chow mein) -. Inferior, calidad decepcionante en comparación con lo que se sirven normalmente por la noche y comer platos, sin embargo el precio era el mismo.

Came here because of the reviews I’ve read on here, so had high hopes. Just moved in round the corner.

I love Big Bowl Noodle. It’s been a favourite for 9 years and it’s recent refurbishment has only made it better. Great food, great prices and friendly staff. It’s a regular hang out for me and my friends. Would reccomend to anyone.

Popped in here for lunch with family on Saturday. We were seated and served very quickly.Menu was short but plenty of variety.When the food was served it was lovely very tasty & piping hot .very reasonable as well will definitely visit again when visiting family

Ordenados para llevar, y cuando llegué a casa mi porciones era diminuta, pedí el menú especial del chef, cerdo crujiente del vientre, lo que me dieron fue mediocre par trozos de carne y bajo estaba llena con verduras por el precio de 6 libras. 80, fue sin duda no vale la pena. Si las porciones son más grandes, entonces me gustaría volver, pero de esta experiencia no regresaré.

Visitar Londres y alojarse en las inmediaciones, vinimos aquí después de leer las críticas de Tripadvisor. No nos decepcionó. Las alas de chile y calamar son impresionantes y todos disfrutamos de sus platos principales. Rápido, eficiente, recién preparado, sabrosa y increíblemente razonables. Éramos 6 de nosotros en el partido, y los aperitivos, platos principales, una botella de vino y 5 cervezas y coca-cola llegó a 96 libras. Lo increíble relación calidad-precio. Genial.

Este es un pequeño restaurante que hace un gran fideos y otros platos chinos. Recomiendo alas chili sal.

Me he alojado aquí varias veces y es muy coherente. Barato, rápido pero excelente, sin finura. Este es un lugar donde vienen a comer, un poco como Hong Kong. Relación calidad-precio genial. Super porciones y de buena calidad. Altamente recomendado.

Revisado este lugar antes, vuelto un par de veces, la comida es siempre buena, mejores cosas son la sal y el chili de calamar y los platos de fideos ho divertido. Comer aquí, no te decepcionará.

Gran restaurante chino con el personal acogedor, los precios son muy razonables para los platos. Recomendamos la sal y chili, alitas de pollo, albóndigas de carne, además de la. . Mi pareja. Recomendado la especial de mariscos con huevo frito arroz con la salsa de hongos! Tiene un ambiente muy relajado y cómodo para estar en y disfrutar de su plato.

He estado viniendo aquí durante los últimos 17 años, con familiares, amigos y compañeros de trabajo. Comida deliciosa y fresca, excelente servicio y un ambiente fantástico. Altamente recomendado, asegúrese de probar sus jugos frescos.

Service is always exceptional. The vegetables are always fresh and crispy, the flavours great. The dumplings are home made and outstanding next to the MANY competitors who serve the frozen variety. One or two dishes have disappointed me (the crispy beef doesn't excel as much as other dishes, and the prawns are not always as flavoursome as I would like... they must be frozen) but this is because I now have high expectations having eaten here before. Keep it up, and I'd love to see their seafood/meat supplier change/improve!However, when you consider the price (hearty mains for £5-£9) I can't expect everything, and there is more than enough here to keep me coming back. As someone who has travelled to the far east it is wonderful to find somewhere that is NOT just the local Chinese take-away serving flat-packed food straight out of the microwave. Quite the opposite.

This is the best Chinese in Tottenham and service is really good too. Love their veggie spring rolls.

I had lunch at Big Bowl Noodle today - seafood Pho soup and it was delicious.If you haven't been before and you are in Tottenham, GO!It is a family rum Chinese restaurant that has recently been refurbished. You are guaranteed to be warmly received and the food is lovely, all ingredients are fresh and they also use fresh noddles, not the dried noodles that you so often get.They do fresh juices made while you wait that are lovely and their homemade lemonade is delightful.They have also recently started stocking Redemption beer from the local brewery which hits the spot every time.

I last ate here about 15 years ago but I went back having read some good comments on Facebook. The place has recently been transformed with a new fresh and modern look, but the best thing is the food. Chinese food can often be a bit predictable but the dishes we had were fresh and fragrant. We had salt and chilli squid and dumplings for starters and a bowl of noodles and Szechuan prawns. All totally delicious. Delighted to have found a new restaurant to visit in Tottenham and as we live just round this will be a regular place to eat. Extremely good value (cheaper than a takeaway!) and friendly service. Warmly recommended.

Cheap, decent food, friendly staff and quick service. Very clean surroundings that have been recently refurbished. The menu is very clear with a choice of different meats and vegi options, different types of noodles, rice etc and a range of sauces. The hot sauce was pleasantly hot but not silly hot! One of the few places you can get a sit down meal locally.

Like many of the other people reviewing this restaurant, I have lived in Tottenham for years and walked past this place without feeling the need to try it. A friend recommended it a few months ago and it has now become our go to place for a meet up and a meal. The portions are huge, the staff really friendly, and remember you - even if you have only been in once or twice, which is lovely. Very child friendly and such good value you can afford to take the whole family without breaking the budget. The new refurbishment makes it look modern and fun.

My friend and I came acrosa this place as we walked around Tottenham looking for somewhere to eat. My friend and I had a starter of salt and papper squid which was slightly chewy, and not very spicy but when dipped into the sweet chilli sauce; it was very flavoursome. I had the mixed big soupy noodle bowl (a mixture of seafood and meat) and my friend had a chicken and black bean sauce with egg fried sauce. With two drinks, the whole meal came to 22pounds. Great friendly service, really worthy of a visit!

Recently refurbished and great value noodle restaurant. Discovered this only last week - don't be put off by the external signage which makes this look like a dingy 80s noodle place. Inside it's been done up but best of all is the food, which is cheap and tasty. Staff also very friendly. I shall be back!

I have been using Big Bowl Noodles for a long time and always found the food service either Take out or Eat in really good.Hadn't been for a while, (trying out all the other new places in Tottenham) went there last night and was really pleasantly suprised the make over looks fantastic, really nice ambience. The menu is greatly reduced, but that is for the better, they have chosen there best dishes and serve them well.The lemon chicken was delicious. Thank You!!

Lovely fresh food, great value for money. I prefer to travel here instead of going to local Chinese shops as they simply don't compare. Always friendly service, they have recently refurbished and simplified the menu, but if you just ask I'm sure they will make you whatever you desire. I look forward to returning and trying something new.

Three of us dined here after spending the day moving into a flat nearby. It is very basic with bare tables and benches, but the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed Duck with Pancakes, Singapore Noodles, Crispy Beef with Noodles, Satay Chicken, Prawn Toasts, Special Fried Rice and more. The portions were generous and we'll definitely be back.

Been going for about 2 yrs now, started of not a big Chinese food fan, but BigBowl has deff changed that, just recently refurbished & making the place look great, it just gets better, great tastes, freshness, really friendly service & local......not anything more to say, just Fab...

We've recently moved into the area and after seeing how good the reviews were thought we better give it a go. We were certainly not disappointed. Good value but above all very tasty good portions. Service was good too. I highly recommend it.

I've been living in Tottenham for 6 years now but only went to Big Bowl Noodle for the first time last night on the recommendation of a foodie neighbour. I wish he'd told me about this place sooner! I got a seafood vermicelli soup and the ingredients looked and tasted incredibly fresh. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the staff were lovely. Apparently they've recently had a refurb and the decor was spot on. Not too hipster but clean, modern and urban. I would definitely recommend this place and as I live just around the corner I'll be making regular visits. My only (very minor) criticism is that their signage doesn't reflect the quality of the inside of the restaurant but if that means it doesn't get booked up when I want to go there then that's fine by me!

Tried this place out having recently moved in around the corner and it exceeded all expectations! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, attentive and polite. And all for a very reasonable price too. They have recently renovated the inside of the restaurant and it has a trendy feel to it. I would urge you to try this place out if you are in the area. We had salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and some ho fun noodles and it was far better than you get in China Town - give it a go!

An absolute gem of a Chinese restaurant. Excellent food at better than reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere. I honestly don't think you could get better Chinese food at any other restaurant in London for the price. Two starters and two large mains plus drinks for around £30 is a steal and all served with a smile! It won't be long until this place has established a name for itself.

My sister lives not far and anytime I'm in the area I do pop in. Their grilled dumplings are to die for and I love their ho fun noodles. The staff are always friendly it's just a shame I live too far to be regular.

Big Bowl has been here for decades and we've come back to it recently. Same friendly service, great food, always fresh and it's unbelievable value. We used to eat in a lot, recently we've collected takeaways - there's no delivery service - but it is worth picking up for such a treat. Highly recommended.

I agree with other reviewers who advise ignoring the slightly dated look of the place. I will add, it is kept very clean and I like having view of the kitchen. The food is exceptional for this kind of noodle bar. Huge fragrant bowls of won ton noodle soup for a fiver and fantastic pork and duck ho fun. Absolutely delicious. Staff friendly and clearly popular with locals. Since our local Vietnamese in South Tottenham closed, I've been looking for a good little local like this. Guess I've found one.

The decor is dated but functional. The food is a delight. Portions huge and prices circa 1980. I don't know how they do it.

Great little eatery that did the job whilst i was staying around the corner for work. Simple dishes cooked quickly in a cafe style setting so you can go and eat on your own if you just want to eat without feeling ĺike a restaurant.

Friendly staff, enormous portions, delicious food served quickly and cheap cheap cheap prices! I have passed this place daily for 7 years and never went in because of the drab-looking exterior. That's 7 wasted years in my opinion! £2 for a glass of wine, £2.50 for a beer, £5 for a bowl of won ton soup that was so enormous I couldn't finish it. A meal for two with drinks and a shared starter was under £20. All served with a smile. They even do takeaway!

Passing this little gem so many times and was sceptical with the name and its location. I was very wrong after an urge of a simple Chinese food. Friendly service with quick preparation. Ho fun is great with no excess oil at bottom of plate, it is a good sign of skilled chef. So it is my regular top up after a hard work out in gym. Yes it is worth the extra calories induce in my body!Thumbs up!
