Best food in Bristol! Staff are lovely and friendly, super quick service and delicious fresh food! 10/10 must visit if you’re in Bristol!

The bao was Ok, but the filling had extremely little of the advertised protein component (in this case, tofu), and the vegetables and the sauce were so and so. Prices are a little high for this quality, and I feel that Bristol offers better in terms of street food. The automatised system for self-order and self-payment was friendly and efficient.

Yo Baby Shake that big Bao. Ten Ten would recommend shaking that big bao in front of everyone. Can't go wrong with showing off food from big Bao.

Wanted to try this place out for a while, seen a few times on shopping trips. Service was not the best, took my order quickly and paid by card, was told it didn't go through - they didn't see me pay! Insisted to charge me again and now I have two amounts taken out my account. When processing the second order, the guy tried to charge me a dish that was £3 more expensive. This place is a CON! After that the bao buns were cold, messy and fell apart the minute I touched them. Also I think they just chucked the whole thing in a microwave for a few minutes. Can't go back to get a refund as rarely go to town. My advice, go somewhere else! The Bubble Tea was good but Cupp is so much better! Bristol has so many quick food outlets with better service and quality. Really disappointed with this place.

The beef bao buns were stone cold and the duck ones were filled with fat and horrible skin, barely any meat. The cost £6 too!! Really rather disgusting and very disappointing. Will not be visiting again

Bought Summer Rolls or Gỏi cuốn as they are known in Vietnam to try and was left very unimpressed with them. Gỏi cuốn that I bought had a little bit of shrimp, some rice noodles and way too much lettuce which is not authentic and I know as I lived in Vietnam for 10 years. Pity as it costs so little to provide a tasty example of Vietnamese street food without the need to scrimp on the ingredients.

Great veggie/vegan selection and really good service. The tofu mushroom banh mi was delicious and only £5.

We ordered online this evening and were looking forward to what the photos had suggested. Instead, I paid £10.15 for just beef, noodles and broth. I had to use vegetables from my own fridge which, obviously when already paying £10, I was incredibly disappointed with. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

The Bao was not light and fluffy but stodgy. Pork belly, how can you get this wrong! its the staple ingredient that should melt in the mouth. Nope, had to chew it for a longer period than i should have. Utterly disappointed as I love Bao buns and couldn't wait to try this place out. I couldn't eat it. Would have been a regular had it not been so disappointing. Touch screen to pay, how many people touch it! During covid time this is not reassuring. Best Bao in Bristol is currently served at Woky ko. Sorry to have to leave such a bad review.

Had a couple of banh mi for lunch. Both my hubby & I love Vietnamese food, & the banh mi is a particular favourite of his. We were both blown away by the crunchy softness of the bread rolls. A good choice of delicious fillings make these rolls hard to beat. It has become my hubby's first choice for lunch when visiting Broadmead now.

They provide the typical Vietnamese Banh Mi which is crispy, light and very fresh. I tried the Special filing which has Vietnames sausage, pate, pork and duck with some side fresh salad. It is a good choice for breakfast or lunch, quick and yummy. For drink, Vietnamese iced coffee is the best, with condense milk. That's amazing for 7 pound lunch. I definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Really lovely staff! Only tried the banh mi which was pretty decent (not the best i’ve ever had but still pretty good). Would come back again to try the other types of banh mi and their summer rolls!

These are not the best banh mi baguettes or bao buns around but they are probably the best in Bristol, by some way. Given the low prices, the tasty options here represent tremendous value, particularly given all of the fillings you can choose from. I especially liked the brisket bao bun and will be back to try more!

As travellers we always on a hunt for a bubble tea in a city. We visit bristol once a week for a meeting and this is our go to place before heading home. Their bubble tea is full on flavour and not so much of an ice. I havent tried the food there but willing to do so when we go back. Also staff are very friendly too..

I have been going here for years, its amazing and good value and one order normally feeds a few with good portions. Totally the best amazing choice, amazing food, love it, would rate as the best ever.

It was my first time in Bristol and I was just wandering around. I saw the advert for this delightful store that makes you feel like you've just stepped onto the Kalahari. It was a very welcoming store, really well stocked with all things food and drink related, as well as mementos and books. I could easily have spent all my money there but I had to keep restrained. I would actually visit Bristol again just to go to the store.

As undergraduate students who have recently come from India an year ago we struggled finding good Indian food in the UK. I come from Punjab and my friend from Maharashtra, We initially struggled finding good Indian food that we both liked. We tried our luck in London, Reading and Bristol for Indo-Chinese. But Lama is the closest we have come to that reminds us of food back home. Everytime we feel a bit home sick we just pay a visit. Absolutely recommend it. Must give it a try.

The best food by far, I have been coming for years and the food is unbeaten. Super friendly staff and a lovely little family owned business. Sadly the original owners have gone now and there's new management so I've not tried out their menu.
