Fancied a coffee whilst at the park and always like a slice of cake with that. Wish I hadn't the cake was stale. Hard and old.

We popped in to this cafe whilst on a walk with our dogs. It had just started to pour with rain and other people clearly had the same idea, so the downstairs area was pretty much full. We did wait a short while for our order to be taken and the man serving apologised for this. Our coffees arrived promptly though and they were good and very fairly priced. We didn’t have food so I can’t comment on that.

Stopped off on a whim. Great choice. We both had a Sunday Roast. The meals were massive, boiling hot and tasty. Will be back.

We booked a table for 1pm and stated we wanted ‘the roast’ when booking. We were 4 adults and toddler of 3 and 2 small puppies , one under 3 months old. No one came to take our order for 20 mins and we didn't actually get our meal for 1 HOUR and 30 MINS. As there is no heating in the room we were all cold and fed up by the time the food arrived. The puppies were literally shivering. Another couple who arrived after us had their food just as they were giving up and getting their coats on. We had already asked where our food was previous to this and were told, another 10 mins, which was actually 20. I complained to the owner and he just sai, “yeah, we’ve been busy.” No apology and the place wasn’t full. They do JUST EAT as well and I said that he was obviously prioritising those customers over the trapped ones in the restaurant but he still had no apology and just shrugged. The food, when it actually arrived was adequate but I wouldn’t eat in there again. My husband suggested ordering from JUST EAT and having the food sent to our table. I’m sure we would have got it quicker. An hour and a half to wait for a pre booked meal is just not acceptable. Also there was no soap in the toilet facilities but even if there had been tphere was nothing to wipe your hands on.

Avoid! Terrible food and even worse service. When it was explained that the food served was inedible we was told that there was nothing wrong with it and forced to pay full amount..my partner became upset at the situation and tried to leave to which the owner blocked the way stopping my partner and young child leaving( need I remind these people that detaining someone against there will is a crime! ) so avoid this place and save your money, bring a nice picnic to the park or even try one of the many nicer coffee shops in town.i wish I'd taken pictures of the stuff they called 'edible food' but clearly I'm not the only 1 who's had a bad experience here

Sunday roast dinner was not edible, completely burnt and stone cold. Don’t waste your money at this place.it came with completely burnt potatoes, the Yorkshire puddings without the edge, uncooked in the middle, I have never had the worst roast dinner in all my life,

Visited for the first time on Friday 20/01/23 and ate breakfast, with the addition of some of the best homemade flapjack I've ever eaten all supplied with a big gorgeous tea cup and teapot set. Saw whilst there that the tearoom was putting on evening events so booked up to attend the Valentine's evening meal. That experience was just ok, as you can tell these events are non-standard and you have to pre-order what you want from the menu as well as it being something that feels ad hoc. Either way good luck to them and it's good that this place is open. A final point we found is the tearoom wasn't always open when you expect it to be so checked the Facebook page as that appears to be updated when it isn't open.

Ate here with the family today, lovely outdoor setting in Bicclescombe Park, music perhaps intrusive in terms of volume. Had the fish finger sandwich, supposedly in a brioche bun bun in fact a seeded burger bun, with a cocktail stick holding it together and no flag to prevent accidental injury. Fish fingers could have come from the most basic catering supplier, grey and tasteless. We also had the fish and chips, peas and chips lovely but the fish piece in batter was also dry and grey. Sachets of condiments were cheap impressions of the real thing …. why can’t they supply proper squeezy bottles of Heinz. Would have given 2/5 but credit for operating in such a beautiful part of Ilfracombe.

This was our second visit, our first was 2 years ago when we found the hotel to be quite basic as far as the decor is concerned, but alot of improvements have been made since then. The dining room is beautiful, service at mealtimes is very good and the food is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for here with a smile, if you want The Ritz you wont get it on Groupon

You all thought this would be a good review of a fun time at Pizza Hut, well it’s not. Don’t get me started on the staff, the table service was terrible, the “waiters” only relied on the website not knowing or informing me of the basics like: refill cups, buffets, deserts. Today the workers were hiding behind the till, reluctant to serve us being lazy and unqualified. I’m not one to write a review but you have forced me to create an account. Pizza Hut please fix your employment standards.

I thinks it's awful with the fact that when ordering you can not pay with cash and everything is done by card ! And when my partner asked to remove egg from the breakfast wrap (he can't eat egg) the lady abruptly said 'no. No Changes or substitutes' Which meant he couldn't have lots on the menu as it l had mayo! This cafe used to thrive and when we went in at lunch time there were 3 tables including us. Tesco are Putting people off by card only and elderly won't always understand the tough screens Your losing business because your using robots rather than employees.
