Bibana Lounge in Ashfield

First time at Bibiana tonight (25/09/2024) and wow… what can we say… Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. There is not one thing that we ordered that we wouldn’t order again. When the bill came we couldn’t believe how good value it was for the quality of food that we had eaten. To top it all off- the service was absolutely impeccable. Mohammed couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. This review does not do justice to how amazing the food and service is at Bibiana. We will definitely be back.

We’ve had a few take-away from this place over the last few years. Last weekend we decided to actually meal in the restaurant itself, which looks like it’s had a bit of a spruce up inside - it looked a lot nicer. Whilst the food was ok, the service wasn’t the best. It was beyond slow, & the servers were all so miserable & grumpy looking, almost scowls on their faces. It didn’t make you feel welcome. Disappointed.

Lovely food, great selection of choices. Staff were great and lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed our visit. There was a big party of us and yet they looked after us so well.. really recommend this place

Just returned home after a beautiful meal with my daughter, The food was delicious the service first class and such a clean welcoming restaurant we definitely felt welcomed with friendly staff. Please give it a try if you like well cooked delicious food ,definitely the place to go with friends ,

Been coming to Bin for a lot of years, mainly with my husband and family. Today my daughter decided to throw her works Christmas party here. Was very disappointed because when I come here, I ALWAYS order the chicken shashlik. This come out on a hot sizzling plate and the spices and garlic create a juice that means although it is a dry dish it's very succulent and tasty and no need for a sauce. Tonight my shashlik came out as a dry tandoori chicken which I did not order and the heat was not even. I e it was clear it had been precooked then microwaved. I left most of it. I did query this and was told at first by a member of staff that this was ordered and I did not order the shashlik. Then I was told a shashlik does not come out on a hot plate at that restaurant. Very bizarre as I've never had it any other way , anywhere, including Bibiana. When the bill came I saw on the bill that it said chicken shashlik. I asked the manager what was a chicken shashlik. He explained it's the dry dish on the sizzling plate. I then explained to the manager in charge that we aren't quibbling the bill we will pay in full but very disappointed because I didn't have the shashlik and was fobbed off. He then tries to say the shashlik doesn't come on a sizzling plate all of the time so I proceeded to tell him that it was clearly microwaved. This was a Monday night and not busy by the way! Our table of 6 had been booked for two weeks. To be fair he apologised. We paid in full, as I don't believe in not paying a bill just because something was not good. I had the meal, albeit left half of it . The manager did offer me a brandy on the house but I declined. Although I appreciated the sentiment. My point is, being fobbed off when I ordered the same dish I always do! Over the years I have found the food and it pace of service hit and miss but no one can fault the politeness of the staff. I just wish the y would have held their hands up at the beginning.

This restaurant is amazing, great value for money, especially on a Wednesday and Sunday 3 courses for less that £12. Food is very tasty Staff are very attentive and helpful, we are usually offered a free drink on the house, after the meal too.

Terrible experience, rude staff, awful atmosphere- avoid at all costs! The place was a mess and they filled the room from the outside in to make it look busy! We walked out without even sitting down. Lots of better places within 5 miles so I’d do your research and give your hard earned money to someone who appreciates it!

What can I say - Brilliant food' lovely staff will Deffo. Go again. Food was really lovely and quick service

Went for a meal after a while on saterday and it was fantastic. The food and service was first class and the complementary after meal drink was a touch of class. We'll definitely be back with friends. Great banter too amongst the staff and costumers which is always a good sign.

the restaurant had delicious meals and the atmosphere was very good.the waiters were not naughty as the other reviews say, and i suggestion that you should go check out the restaurant yourself.
