Visited here after seeing great reviews and wasnt disappointed food was amazing staff were pleasant and prices cheaper than other popular curry houses ive been in the past il be back again very soon 👌

I waited over 3 hours for my food which is cold and samosas are frozen. Every time I ring the shop the owner puts the phone down on me and is refusing to give me my money back

Most disgusting takeaway we have been to and they are rude and don't care. Should of checked the hygiene rating first as well 🤢 put me of ordering takeaways

We waited two and a half hours for our order - we called twice and when I spoke with the owner he told me “if I’ve waited 2.5 hours I can wait another 10 minutes”. He then proceeded to hang up on me. Absolutely appalling service and disgusting attitude. Wouldn’t eat here again if someone paid me.

Visited Bhaji take away for the first time tonight after the restaurant we were due to visit was unexpectedly closed. Must admit we were not disappointed by our takeaway. My husband isn't particularly keen on Indian but absolutely loved his Lamb Tikka Masala and the fabulous Peshwari Naan. Will definitely be back again.

Do not, do not place an order, they rip you off completely. Absolute disgrace.

Absolutely devastated tonight, we often order from Bahji at least once a week. It’s our little treat. So tonight I chose to order a chicken burger and my boyfriend ordered a curry. It took 2 hours to come. I understand some nights are busier than others but when you order your tea at 7 pm and are only eating at 9.30 is a bit of a head ache. Anyhow my ‘ Chicken burger ‘ arrives and soon as I open it I seen tomato & cucumber which I purposely asked not to be put on, then I remove these items to find it’s not a chicken burger so I called the shop and I was told it was chicken as he cooked it and he put the phone down. They have definitely lost a regular customer after this. Their food use to be 10/10 and now I wouldn’t even rate it.

Absolutely horrible food! A hospital canteen in India would serve much better food than this at way less the cost. Ordered for my brother, mother, and myself. Brother could not eat it. Mother was complaining through it. The butter chicken was coloured red for some god awful reason. The parathas and biryani were horrible. Steer yourself away from this place and buy from a cheaper Indian place somewhere else.

First time trying this place out, glad we did! Been looking for a decent Indian takeaway for years now, live nearby Norris Green we drove past this one. Owner Ahmed was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious!! We have had the watery, tasteless meals. Vindaloo and Nawabi Murgh with Pilau and Peshawari nan, really tasty and well worth an hr wait. Owner was honest and kept to his promise of delivering as we went in quite early to order. This is deffo out local Indian takeaway now.. ..and we have tried loads around the area.

Low rated curry's and the owners attitude stinks. Very rude when i went in to collect food and i ordered 3 different dishes and they all tasted like carrots. Avoid at al costs!!!

Just ordered from this place for the first time ever an the last time ever 1 hour 45 minutes for delivery for a takeaway that is 10 minutes away ordered a lamb rogan had about 3 pieces of lamb in it the colour an taste of the sauce is what you get out of a chippy an it was luke warm also got the dips an poppadoms they were soft an the dips one was onions how can you possibly on this planet make onions have no taste this is possibly the worst Indian in liverpool it says on there menu back to original management 🤣🤣 if that's the case then I suggest you close up.

So glad we chose this takeaway tonight. We arrived late so were shown every step of the making of our delicious curry by the owner. We ordered the Garlic Chilli Chicken, Nawabi Murgh both with Keema Pilau & Seekh Kebab with a Peshwari Naan. All the meals were outstanding so tasty!! Cant wait for our next visit!!👍👌

Usually the food is very nice from here, but the chicken bhuna tonight was very watery, not much flavour and the chicken wasn't as nice, hard hard fatty bits in it. The naan also wasn't up to standard

Decided on here because of an “Award” Ordered a chicken tikka rogan with extra garlic, was very watery and little taste, first and last visit. Sorry I never checked the reviews first..

Ordered delivery by phone on 3 seperate ocassions, first 2 everything good. Last time told they can’t deliver as I live too far away. Argued with the driver and he changed his mind after consulting the owner. Was quoted a higher price than for the same meal 5 days before, also noticed I was charged twice for delivery. Driver got lost en route and asked me to leave the house in the freezing rain to meet him outside. Turns out they will only deliver if and when they decide they’re not too busy. I won’t be using them again. Terrible attitude and if you decide to give them a try, check your bill before you pay.

This is the worst meal I have ever had,we ordered this meal based on there apparent award for the north west’s best takeaway,we had 4 strips of chicken in our masala meal which were not placed in a tandoori oven before cooked,they came in a tasteless tandoori soup not curry,we ordered 2 starters which were vile and a samosa uncooked,oh but the popadoms were good.we called and complained they acknowledged my complaint but said they were to busy to replace our meal,but would consider our complaint wen we next ordered.which will happen ever,new year’s eve ruined

We ordered a delivery from Bhaji this evening for our Friday night supper. I ordered their Lamb Tikka Sylheti and the wife ordered their Nawabi Murgh with fried sliced garlic on top accompanied by Peshwari nan and 3 chutneys. Sauces in both dishes were divine and Bhaji don't cheat on the meat - loads of tender well cooked Lamb tikka and Tandoori chicken. The peshwari nan was most unusual being stuffed with a sweet orange vegetable we have never had before. Hefty portions of very good quality, tasty food. We Couldn't finish it - half in the freezer for fun another weekend. Would most definitely reccomend. Paul.

Only just started going here and I have been happy with every meal the meat is lovely and tender not dry like most Indian takeaways the king prawn meals are fab they have even tweaked a few meals for me adding spinach love this place 5 stars from me and hubby👍

Having had many Indian takeaways over my years in Liverpool I must say these guys top the bill. They never fail to provide large portions of tender marinaded Lamb and chicken in exquisite sauces. The chef's there definately know thier trade. Would highly recommend. Wife and I Never disappointed with a meal from them. Very high standard.

Very disappointing. Over salty poppadoms. Cheese naan, without cheese. Both lamb curries were poor quality stringy lamb, caked in over the top chilli, with very very little flavour. Stick to Al Barakha next time

Good was cold.. orderd chicken tikka tub was half full. orded cheese pitta bread "No cheese" payed £25 for crapy food.. never again. Disgraceful👎👎👎

I had a heart attack a couple of months ago and was so bored with eating low fat food, I felt like a treat and love Indian food so called called Bhaji and talked to the owner who agreed to make a low fat Indian balti, To my amazement, the food was absolutely beautiful. Got a takeaway from here, it was poor at best. The curry sauce was very oily, you could see the oil floating around and on top of it which put me right off. My chicken was dry and overcooked, and was a weird orange colour inside, certainly didn't seem fresh. Most of it ended up in the bin. Suffice to say I won't go there again.

Came here a couple weeks's ago and the food was average but we had to wait for a bit to long. Ordered again today and went there (20 mins after ordering) and they said they didn't have our order and it didn't exist. Ok it happens and it is very busy. They ring me 1 hour 30 minutes after I have ordered asking me to pick it up. I can understand it being late as it must be a very busy time. But to send me away and then ask me to come back an hour and a half after having ordered (and after I said I got somthing somwhere else) is not good enough. 10 customers or 100 it is not hard to be polite and stay organised.

The worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted my meal tasted just like my husbands yet they was 2 completely different dishes supposedly 1 spicy 1 extra mild could just go on from the starters being cold and raw but I haven’t the energy not surprised after waiting 2 hrs for it to arrive absolute disgrace. They said they was extremely busy if that was the case they should not have took any more orders. Quality first and foremost and a definite NO NO 👎

I really wasn't impressed with this place. The curries were very watery and flavourless (yes, really). The Mrs just scraped her's into the toilet, I persevered with mine because it cost a bomb. We had : Chicken Chat Starter - (bread was nice, the rest was just water) Chicken Tikka Masala - (had better from a jar) Lamb Madras - (Watery and flavourless. More spice in Dorito) Hate to give severe reviews for any gaff but this one is well and truly justified. Sorry guys.

Was walking down tuebrook looking for something to eat late at night, we were going to eat Chinese but thanks to the amazing aroma coming from Bhaji we thought we'd give it a shot, both of us have travelled all around the world and have tried many different kinds of food, at first glance it was amazing, the man was super friendly and offered us suggestions on what to buy, however in hindsight it seems like he was guiding us away from the dishes he was unable to make. I ordered a vindaloo which, with rice was 7.20, that in itself is a joke I don't need to say what I can buy with 7.20, but a Sherwood's premade curry mix and some chicken breast comes to mind. Regardless, I had high hopes. When we got back, the food looked fine but kind of bare.. My vindaloo which clearly stated "with potatoes" didn't have anything except the chicken and the sauce, to me, it was quite clear this was all pre prepared soauces, with added spices. My friends curry was just a curry with chopped lemons added at the end, it wasn't the traditional cooking way. The total cost just over £15 in our eyes was excessive, as a business you should charge what you're worth. I didn't bother to make any complaints to the restaurant because its not like I can't afford it, but I know there's some people in this area who really aren't that well off, this could be their one special meal a week, or even a month. I'm sorry for writing so much, but I just hope nobody will get tricked into wasting money in this place, I don't have any other Indians to recommend but I'd say just find a cheaper one, since it can't get worse than this. If you're thinking about ordering here, search Sherwood's curry and buy one of their pre mixed Currys, it's comes with instructions it'll be cooked in 5mins. For a fraction of the price In short: Pros: None lol Cons: overpriced for what it is False advertisement for food dishes Have only just threw it away, ate about half though, let's see if I get sick tomorrow.

Have been a customer of this takeaway for years and used their online ordering many times with no problem but tonight was beyond a joke. 2 hours and still no food rang twice and each time told it will be 20 minutes. When I state that if it went past 2 hours I would cancel they put the phone down on me. Well this is a loyal customer who they have now lost. Very disappointed 😡

DISGUSTING!! Food was 85% oil in a tray, with poppadoms that taste like burnt oil. The korma was just coconut milk with floating chewy meat, and our kebbab platter was definitely picked off a plate from the day before and tossed in a tray and resold- never had such dry meat it couldn't be eaten!! Total waste of money, oh and a house of upset stomachs for 3days to top it all off - we know was the food as my son who refused to eat it was the only none casualty,wish I'd followed his lead!!

I must admit this is some of the best Indian, Pakistani cooking my wife and I have experienced. Tonight we ordered a Chicken Korma for her and a Lamb Tikka Sondia for myself. The meal arrived by delivery within half an hour. In both dishes were substantial amounts of tender, well cooked meat in excuisite sauces.Top marks Bhaji. This is the second time we have ordered from them and they continue to excell.

I was food would be an hour. No problem. 1.20 min later it was going to be 20 minutes. It's now 10pm and I ordered at 7.30. Just phoned and the food is still not on the way. 2 1/2 hours later I told them to shove it. Do not order from here. The food might be lovely but I will never know because they never sent it and I will never order again. Disgusted.

Drive past the place every day & after hearing good reviews from various sources decided to give it a go for a family Saturday night takeaway. Have tried various Indian restaurants/ takeaway places and this ranks amongst the best. All four starters & mains were as good as we’ve had from far more upmarket/expensive establishments, all exceptional. The only negative was that there was probably too much food. Will we visit again.....YES !! without a doubt.

Ordered from Bhaji 8/12/18, ordered meal with vegetable bhajis however on collection we did not recieve the bhajis and instead were given another curry dish we didn't ask for, also ordered 2 garlic naans, one with cheese, neither contained garlic or cheese. Food hygiene was also abysmal as witnessed chef clean saucepan with wire wool and use label in various dips without cleaning it. Will not be returning.

I had tandoori chicken which was lovely but the sauce was a bit bland , the raita dip was vile and the rice was nice but cold wouldn’t use again

I placed an order directly to the website rather than useing the just eat website. My order was, Lamb Kebab, Mixed Kebab,Sheesh Kebab.I recieved a Veg Bhaji, Salad, Mixed something that included a Samosa and an omlete. I tried to ask what had happened and they called to my address with a reciept, that can only be discribed as a delivery note !!!!

Normalmente vamos al Jalali pero cierra el martes por alguna razón, probamos el Bhaji hace unos años y fue horrible. Así que con Jalali cerrado decidimos darle una segunda oportunidad, comí pollo tikka main con curry madras y arroz pilau, mi esposa tenía pollo tikka massala con arroz pilau. . Mi pollo tikka era extraño sabor picante, madras curry era como salsa y arroz bien, pollo tikka massala era sosa y esposa dijo peor que nunca. . No volveré al Bhaji y me quedaré con el Jalali en el futuro. .

Great food at an affordable price. Never been before but was recommended by a colleague. We decided to grab a takeaway after work and as there was 4 of us we decided to try the set menu for 4 at £38. It has to be the best Indian I’ve had in a while! The food was so well cooked and the portions were great! Ended up having a lot left over so made a great lunch for us at work the next day! Will definitely be visiting again.

Not had food from here for a while and won't be getting it again. Used to be lovely - not the case this time. Two different types of curry but tasted the same, I know my curries and they just had different meat. Out of the whole meal the naan bread was the best part. To top it off all of us had a dodgy tummy the next day. Not for us will not be using again.

We have used the Bhaji before & never had a problem, however I ordered various meals for eight people at 6.30pm & was informed it would be delivered @ 7.15pm. At 7.30pm still no food so rang to check where my order was, after many apologies I was again informed it would be another 20mins. Again 20mins passed & still no meal. I was told that 1 of their delivery drivers had not turned in so it would be another 20mins. I eventually had to collect the meals & when I finally got home we noticed some of the order was missing. The food was very good again but was very disappointed on this occasion regarding the delivery.

100% honest review. Haven't ate from here for a few years as they didn't deliver when I used to eat from there and when I did it was amazing every time , ordered my delivery from a very polite, professional sounding man. I placed my order and had it read back to me and all was correct , delivery was just over an hour which wasn't a problem. The problems started as soon as we got the food out , my chicken Pakora was missing , my chilli cheese bread was just chilli bread and bland at that, I ordered lamb rogan josh and lamb bhuna, looking at them they both looked the same , very watery and they both tasted the same , very watery and very tasteless , I mean this was so bad. Even the portion of onion Bhajis was tiny , the only good thing about the meal was the lamb was cooked nice and my mum and wife loved the salad , but £30 for a nice salad isn't what I expected. Will definitely stick with the Balti house in future.

We order chicken banjra regularly. Usually arrived thick and full of meat and vegetables. Unfortunately, on this occasion we got what looked like brown slop. Dead tasty but so so runny So disappointed Bhaji. Not you usual standard

Hemos estado comiendo comida de esta comida para llevar durante 8 años y nunca nos ha decepcionado hasta esta noche. El pollo Tandoori entrante era incomible, como la pakora de pollo, llegó sin ensalada o menta salsa . Los principales platos pollo makonwala y pollo Tikka masala no es comestible. No había queso para ser visto, o probado en el makonwala y fue como sopa el pollo estaba tan hecha que no podía cortabas . El pollo Tikka era duro y como aguadas pegue de cebolla. Nunca hemos tenido esas terribles comidas desde aquí . pasará mucho tiempo antes de que incluso creo que de ordenar de aquí de nuevo. Lo que han hecho para las comidas que necesitan para solucionar lo antes posible. No cambiar lo que no necesita ser cambiado!

Waited for TWO hours for the food despite TWO phone calls. Was informed they were on there way during the first phone call yet it still took them 40 minutes to arrive - we live 5 minutes away!! Food was practically cold and tasteless. I have never had a curry that is bland before. Totally disappointed with both the food and the service received & will not order from there in the future.

In the past I had always been a fan of the bhaji and have used them for many years. However todays food was well below par, it was really unpleasant and after a couple of bites I couldn't eat anymore and it was thrown away. The chicken tikka masala had a strange sour milk taste, the naan bread was chewy as though it had been reheated and the onion bhajis are now so tiny they are bite size miniatures although they were tasty. That was the only saving grace. Like most people nowadays we cannot afford to throw food away, a takeaway is meant to be a treat, but this was far from it!

Luke warm sauce, small pieces of chicken and worst of all a hair in the curry and an eyelash in one of the dip. Avoid this place at all costs

Really disappointed with meal! Both currys lacked any taste and were very watery not happy at all and would never return!

Almost a 2hr wait for a Dahl side dish that was just water! Terrible quality and by the time it arrived I didn't want it anymore. I do feel terrible about being short with the driver though, as I'm sure he probably just had too many deliveries in one go.

40 minutes late. Phoned when it was 15 minutes and they said the order had left and would be a few minutes. Turned up over 20 minutes late, some of the order was wrong and it was all cold

Took 90 minutes to arrive, was Luke warm., the lamb special was bright red an watery with no fresh chilli's as advertised. Other curries were reasonable, but we all had dodgy stomachs the following day. I will not be using them again!

If this is for the Bhaji take away on Tuebrook then I would recommend chicken chat starter and mixed kebab starter with the yoghurt sauce. I have been ordering from here for years. I love the way you can see the food prepared and before I started getting it slivered, I loved the way the chefs whites were proper white, which shows it is clean. Lovely.

Under cooked chicken in both curries, tried ringing up twice and line was either busy or just ringing out. Okay delivery time, arrived approx 30 minutes after ordering not suprised though with our food been undercooked. This regular customer will not be ordering from here again.

Bought a tandoori mixed kebab meal.. With that you get ad salad a curry sauce.. I purchased it as they we just closing. When I got it home I found sauce to be disgusting. . Like a poor attempt at a lentil soup (which I would like if it was executed properly). I therfore ate some of the meat which ok.. I called next day at 12 noon, no answer, 4pm again no answer. I called back 10.30pm spoke to chef asked if he would just replace the sauce. His attitude was abominable and he bag to argue with me over the sauce being fine and it was my taste buds and I should of called the night before even though they were close. I said forget it you can keep your curry sauce I won't be coming back.. He continued with his arrogant attitude. .. very poor food even worse customer service. . You have been warned

Although the food was really nice as always, I was very disappointed with the king prawn meal. We literally counted 3 prawns in the meal and when we called to explain, they argued with us. Was disappointed as this is normally a very good take away.

The chunks of lamb in my meal where huge, and numerous. Made a change from getting hardly any meat in your takeaway.
