Placed and order by phone for collection as waited over an hour for delivery on our 1st order from here. Was told 40 minutes for collection, went the shop 40 minutes to collect it. No organisation in there.. orders getting placed on the table in no order. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked how long left. My order was then taken out of the warm cabinet and left in a bag whilst waiting for chips. Another 10 minutes later and chips where done. No apologies for the wait.Food was warm but still tasty but last time I will be ordering from there.

Decided to order got on the site and someone was holding a menu so I ordered of that the food never again should have been £13-50 acording to the prices shown and a stroppy girl turned up and said £18 she had a bad attitude also the food was well below par

Ridiculous time keeping, over 2 hours until the food came. Ordered before and thought 1.5 hour wait and it’s getting worse, lied to over the phone numerous times saying it’s on its way. Expensive too.

Ordered at 5pm arrived at 5:45 and the food hadn’t even been put on yet. It’s about the 5th time I’ve experienced this as well.

Got the Lamb Rogan Josh and it was nice! It was a little bit on the sweet side but it was still tasty!

My husband doesn’t eat spicy food and I don’t eat meat he ordered a lamb tikka shashlik as I didn’t want food this time so just one meal he has had it loads of times off them they sent him a lamb tikka chille moss don’t know what it was but it was really spicy ! He rang and explained and he asked for the correct one and he would give this one back but they wouldn’t change it !!! He said please I can’t eat it I can’t eat spicy food please send me what I paid for but no they just wouldn’t change it he waited 2 hours anyway and there was no salad and dips like they normally send . The fella on the phone said he was the owner as well when my husband said can I speak to the owner it was a Sunday night 30th June terrible way to do business arguing with your customer telling him he was wrong when he has had the meal plenty of times. we won’t be getting food again .

My husband Ordered by telephone he ordered himself a meal he has had from them numerous times lamb tikka shaslik as it’s not spicy . They sent him after 2 hours waiting a lamb tikka chille moss don’t even know what is in that but he said it was very spicy and not mild at all he rang to ask them to change it and they could have the wrong meal back but he was getting no where . He asked to speak to the owner and the fella arguing with him said he was the owner !! Terrible way to treat your customer he paid £19 for a starter a chat puri and a Meal he couldn’t eat ! He has had it plenty of times from them as it’s the only thing he ever orders . We just won’t be getting food from them again . Terrible of owner to speak to him like that as well ☹️

Don't order the chicken noodle. They literally just give you Koka noodles and charge you through the nose for it. Yes, a 20p pack of Koka noodles.

I had tika masala and lamb balti. It was very nice. Only thing stopping it being full marks is the small chicken bones mixed in with my lamb balti

Once again Anfield Balti House lives up to master Chef Kamal's high standards of Brilliant food. We had delivered meals from them tonight. Wife had Chicken Tikka Pathiwalla and I had Lamb Tikka Chilli Mossala. Loads of tender well cooked meat in amazing flavour sauces. Top Mark's to Kamal's team !!!.

Absolutely fantastic Indian food cooked to perfection. Best Indian takeaway in Liverpool. I have been eating here for nearly 10 years, never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.

Absolute horror, wouldn’t step in there ever again!

The curry was too oily , the paratha was too raw and for noodles, Maggie was served as noodles. I have specifically given instruction of aloo chat as vegetable with mint sauce , instead it was potato with orange curry which was even not relevant. I feel my money got wasted.

Avoid at all costs, advised 45 min for collection when order placed, turned into 1 hour 45 mins, cold rice/naan/curry and overcooked chips, avoid!

Ordered food for pickup was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Turned up 40 minutes later staff took payment told me it would be a couple of minutes, still waiting there 35 minutes later was told there was a mix up with orders people were walking in of the street ordering and getting served before me also some food missing from order phoned back and was told they were very busy and it would be a couple of hours before they could deliver the missing food. Will be looking for a new curry takeaway.

I ordered a meal from here took over 1 hour to come was freezing cold

Ordered large takeaway £70.00 2.5 hours to arrive after 5 phone calls. Meals were ruined as top meal had spilt onto all the other wrappings. Food cool, and part of order missing. Won't be using them again.

Amazing but ordering system need improvement for timings. If I knew how long - 4 hours for 1 curry rice and nan and no apologies or any sense of understanding ! I tried to contact re a refund or free meal money off next time as myself and my colleague literally eat out fron there 5 times min a week but no response

The Food Is great, made in a clean environment. You can literally see into the kitchen.

Shocking customer service was told up to 2 hours' wait. Fair enough that's fine. Then, I called after 2.15 was told waiting to be collected. Fair enough 30 mins later called. "It's just gone out. (5mins drive away) 30 mins later, still not here called for a refund and the fella kicked off on the phone. Never using this sh!thole again.

This was the 2nd time I have ordered and both times they have been late. After I phone and they say yes be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later still kot here. I ordered at 5 and writing this review at 7 still waiting. Never again

This place is Awful. 3hrs I waited for my order to be delivered and there excuse was that they had to make a new batch of lamb... My A-SE. If I was paying cash instead of paying online I wouldn't have opened the door. The food was mediocre to say the least so I definitely won't be eating from them in the future.

A place for Halal food for Muslims. The lamb biryani was good 😊. Biryani was served with a potato gravy and omelet. But who is looking for spicy biryani, they may not like it. I am glad to know that the owner is from Bangladesh ( Feni) , though the restaurant has Indian tag.

Halal food available. Just a touchy on the expensive side but food is delicious.

Friday night so I can understand may be a bit busier but to have us sat waiting in the shop for over 1 hour waiting for a meal for one person is taking the mic. Said 20 mins at first then it went to half an hour then they said just waiting on chips. People were coming in ordering chips and walking out with them. The excuse we got was they are really busy it's coming up to Christmas haha laughable it's 14th October 🙈 being busy I can understand but putting orders on the phone ahead of people walking in the shop is not on. Shame as it used to be the best but obnoxious staff letting it down!

Awful staff. Rude, and angry old woman behind a counter is a massive let down to this place, as the food is amazing , but service and attitude is Appalling.

Ordered from here for a quick and easy meal . Unfortunately the delivery took 2.5 hours . Obviously the food was not very hot and very average. The most annoying thing about the delivery is the driver who is from the takeaway said to me ‘ next time if your going to pay cash can you call us instead of ordering on just eat as it will save him money “ . No apology for the time I waited just telling me how to save him money next time .

2.5 hour wait on delivery after stating order will be here within 1 hour. Don't want to be eating tea at midnight, won't be coming here again

Great Indian/Bangladeshi food. PLAB 2 Candidates travelling from India-Bangladesh-Pakistan will find this shop useful for everyday takeaway.

Have previously ordered a number of times and have always been satisfied. However tonight's order took over 2 hours to arrive! When it eventually arrived the food was lukewarm at best and Taste was mediocre. Very disappointed and will have to think twice about ordering in the future. Definitely Not a good experience and not worth the money

Chicken korma overly sweet, chicken clearly frozen then defrosted- very tough and dry. Naan bread revolting - undercooked and doughy on the inside and crispy and burnt on the outside. Staff miserable when I picked the “curry” up. Ive had better Indian meals from Asda. The only decent dish from this establishment was the rice.

Food was brilliant balti prob the best in Liverpool if you don't mind the wait for delivery (over 45mins) and I live round the corner well 1mile away,would recommend to try this place you will be pleased,order on line or phone order instead Derek moores 😎💷👍

Once again delighted at our delivered meal last night from Kamal and team at Anfield Balti House. Can honestly say as one who cooks asian style myself, that Kamal and team have the master touch, bit like an asian Gordon Ramsey without the swearing. My wife enjoyed a full Tandoori Chicken meal with rich marinade and juicy meat falling off the bone, delicately flavoured accompanying vegetable curry and salad. I tried a Lamb Rezalla which was exquisite with chunks of high protein fat free tender meat (how do they do it ?) In a rich flavourful sauce including fresh green chilli which gives a lovely zing. Top team at Anfield Balti House, really good food. Occasionally delivery probs but worth the wait for the best.

We USED to order every week, the food is great but the only downside is the delivery time, When you ring the restaurant they don't seem to bothered so we will not be using them again, so if you like nice meals and can wait then use them, we waited well over an hour for our meals

We were visiting from Manchester, had several mains but Lamb Jalfrezi and Asian style Tarka Dhall were the standout dishes. Everybody really enjoyed the meal. Mixed Grills not as good as the curries but overall 5 stars.

We recently moved. Tried a few places which suddenly don't deliver to our area. Which is our good look as we found this amazing Balti house. As we are are a bit sad we order the same meals every Friday. My word the food is brilliant! The breads are a little heavy but if that is the only criticism you can find things could be much worse. The food is really really good and so reasonably priced . Hopefully they are getting to know us. We would honestly recommend them to anyone. My Husband asks for extra sauce and a tub of sauce and this is very reasonably priced. I ask for my meal hotter and they never moan . Really happy thank you roll on Friday

Changed hands no longer the same, although this is a take away, ordered the chef special advertised as chicken, lamb, prawn and beef, it actually contained about 6 Iceland prawns and a piece of beef about 1/2 inch. Swerve and find somewhere else.

Iv had meals from here in the past and they have been good. Just waited an hour and a half to receive under cooked naan bread, burnt egg pilau rice and chicken tikka bhuna that had no taste no heat and was a watery mess sooooo disappointed for a birthday meal

The food is TOP NOTCH! Initially I had a bad experience. Waited over an hr for delivery until my partner went to collect. On receiving the delivery they had given us lamb instead of chicken in the butter chicken and chicken in the lamb passanda. Also the breads and banana fritters were all soggy (I imagine because they made it so long before we received it) I went to the restaurant to complain and they could not refund because we paid online. However they replaced straight away. The food is TOP NOTCH! Aside from the bad delivery service I would definitely recommend. If you can collect I would do so.

Worst curry I ever got spent over £30 for 2 people and not even got a free mango sauce very shocking!!! they are very greedy taking all these orders when they clearly cannot keep it on control and no tastebuds in their curries all they care about is the money!!! First time here nice tidy place , orderd a phall and was warned it would blow my head off but I have had hotter Kormas ha . Lovely food , could do with some more quality vegetables in the meal though.

Nearly 3 hours to wait for food to be delivered, live less than a mile away. Was very rude when I rang up to ask where my food was. I'm diabetic. This service was total crap. From start to finish. Food was OK nothing special. Will not be using this take away again.

We started to use this restaurant again as the food was always amazing but in the past there was always a bit wait . That now seems to be rectified as we have used a few times now and the wait has been no longer than an hour which is about normal for a busy weekend . The food is lovely and so full of flavour as a vegetarian I sometimes struggle to find a good meal but the food here certainly doesn’t disappoint . Highly recommend if you like a good mix of Indian food as they have a very varied menu .

Lamb passander is fantastic but takes too long to get your order, they don't open until 5pm so you wont get your order until at least 6.30pm, not good when your starving

Been coming here for 15+ years when it first opened! Never had a problem other than the waiting time. Food is delicious. A tip though if your picking up your order,arrive 20/30 minutes after the time they give you and it will be there or you may have to wait around a bit.

Fui a un campo balti hoy. Ordené en línea para recoger y dije que iba a ser de 20 minutos. Esperé más de una hora para que me dijeran que iba a ser de 5 minutos. Esperé más de 15 minutos para que me dijeran que iba a ser otro 5 minutos. Finalmente cuando recogí mi orden faltaba algo de mi orden. Es fácil decir que no volveré allí.

I went to anfield balti today. I ordered online to pick upand said it was going to be 20min I waited over am hour to be told it was going to be 5min. I waited over 15 min to be told it was going to be another 5min. Finally when I collected my order some was missing from my order. Easy to say I won't be going back there.

Food is ok. Got a Vindaloo but it wasn't as hot as most places I've been. Ordered and paid. Came back 20 minutes later when they suggested and had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. Think they only cooked it when we returned. It's a decent place but had better. If the hot dishes were hotter and they cut down on the cooking times it would improve the place.

Never usally have an issue foods also nice a little long to arrive but worth it tonight I can’t seem to get through to place an order :(

Tenía una comida realmente encantadora desde aquí la semana pasada esperó casi una hora y media. Ordenó de nuevo para dar beneficio a la duda, tristemente esperó 2 horas y 15 minutos para comer! Llamamos 3 veces para decirnos que serán 10 minutos después de que se informó que podrían haber pasado unos minutos. Lamentablemente, no lo usaremos de nuevo ahora debido a demoras masivas en los alimentos

Comida aquí es normalmente muy bien, pero por desgracia siempre parece haber una larga espera por la comida. Después de esta noche no será pedir desde aquí. Al pedir la comida me dijeron sería entregado en una hora (sabíamos que no sería) pero no en el banco, siendo casi 2 horas sin comida. Llamó para preguntar después de esperar más de una hora y media, chica por teléfono me pidió disculpas y dijo que me esperara otra pocos minutos estaría con nosotros. No hay indicación, después de 15 minutos de nuevo a casa sonó Balti revisa la comida estaba siendo preparada. Misma chica dijo que estaba preparado y esperando a ser entregado. . . Me dijo cuánto sería como hubiéramos esperado casi 2 horas, me dijeron que no lo podía decir como conductor tenía otras entregas. . . Me pregunté por qué me dijeron una hora originalmente, a sólo unos minutos cuando llamaron de nuevo. Sólo para que me dijeran que no puedo decir cómo de larga que equivocadamente no! La actitud de este lugar es malo, tal vez se sienten que tienen clientes lo suficiente para no te molesta perder algunos. . Incluye clientes de pie.-no pedir allí.

Vamos a viajar chicos otra vez, pensé en añadir un poco de sabor a los menús, si estás en Liverpool para los amantes del footie solo un pequeño paseo a lo largo de la carretera principal, ve al pub George de al lado y encontrarás una buena un curry, me dieron el pollo tandoori entrante solo un poco para llenarme. obtienes un hermoso pechuga de tandoori de pollo en una caja con ensalada pequeña con limón de cuña. como extra tiene pan de naana, es bastante abundante y muy sabroso. personal encantadora norma hacer un poco de yogur de menta casero en el lado hermoso. Pruébalo de todos modos, chicos, así lo recomiendo. . . hmmm

He comido aquí por muchos años y tengo que decir que no he encontrado en ningún otro sitio que hace un naan peshwari tan sabroso como este lugar. Además, el cordero y el cordero korma son Malayan seriamente más sabroso que las realizadas en los restaurantes. El personal es amable y me gusta verlos hacer la comida. Altamente recomendado.

I ordered on this Saturday. The food was Amazing and when I say AMAZING I MEAN IT!! I ordered the chicken jalfrezi it was so nice better than any other. The pilau rice was so fluffy ans soft. Very tasty indeed! Would definitely recommend!! My next dish to order will be a king prawn Jalfrezi with Mushroom pilau rice.

He tenido algunos llevar de Anfield Balti y la comida siempre ha sido encantador, aunque debo admitir que la entrega de la comida es lento. En mi última visita aquí pedí comida en 18. 55:00 y la comida no era entregado a 21. 40:00h, este es pobre. Tuve que llamar 3 veces para preguntar sobre la entrega de la comida y me dijeron que estaban ocupados y quedamos cortos de los conductores. Entiendo completamente sus razones sin embargo debería habían dicho cuando puse mi orden y ha dado la oportunidad de cancelar o debería desean esperar entonces adelante y orden. Como consecuencia de esta nunca le pida comida para llevar entrega de Anfield Balti de nuevo y ahora uso otro hindú para llevar, es una pena, ya que la comida está bien pero que esperar casi 3 horas para la entrega es ridículo.

Para llevar restaurante indio de calidad. Precios justos y nunca tuvimos una comida pobre desde aquí.
