Beyti Restaurant in Hackney

You are advertised to be open til 1am. We arrived at 9.30pm so this is 100 % unacceptable: we traveled all the way from the US to eat here like we used to when we loved it. They deserve to close.

Llevo muchos años viniendo a este restaurante específico y nunca deja de impresionarme. Tiene un ambiente tranquilo y agradable, buena relación calidad-precio, excelente servicio al cliente por parte del personal y lo mejor de todo, la comida siempre es deliciosa. La decoración representa muy bien la cultura tradicional turca. Recomendaría Beyti a cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de una comida deliciosa mientras pasa tiempo de calidad con sus amigos / familiares.

El mejor restaurante turco. Nos encanta RAKI (bebida de alcohol turco) con mezze y kebabs, este lugar es nuestro favorito, el dueño del restaurante es muy amable y el camarero, Hasan es genial. Si te gusta OCAKBASI con raki, este es el mejor lugar en Londres

Apareció en una comida realmente agradable que la gente auténtica y encantadora definitivamente recomendaría, aunque los vinos no son geniales. pero la chuleta de cordero es increíble

La carne era bastante sabrosa, pero la porción era demasiado pequeña. Además, el camarero fue grosero. Así que no fue una experiencia agradable y no volveré.

We visit Beytis each time we visit our family in London. Fantastic selection of sharing starters and mains to cater to all tastes. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal. Hope to be back soon!

Delicious kebabs, excellent all around. This is a simple place but the food is really tasty and tender. A real standout among a whole alley of Turkish restaurants.

Called in after a long day in the smoke, for a cheeky kebab. Absolutely brilliant, you can watch your food being cooked. £13 for a huge mixed grill, wine superb, dessert yummy and free shot of ouzo at the end. 😜😍🤪

Ottimo ristorantino turco: buona carne, servizio cortese, ambiente tranquillo e lontano dall'hipsterismo dilagante. Forse la carne di agnello nello shish e' leggermente grassa, ma sicuramente gustosa. Ottimi anche i contorni, come le verdure fritte con yoghurt.

Would recommend to anyone! Great selection of dishes at reasonable prices. Only ever ordered a takeaway but always very prompt. Been a regular customer for a year, but sadly moving away :(

Very cheap and very fine turkish foods. The waiters are very nice. Every food made by fresh elements and most are grilled very fine. Must try it again!

Tucked away on Green Lanes Beyti is a great spot for some Turkish grub, particularly the lamb chops. The restaurant's decor is a bit dated but this only adds to the charm, and it's not extremely bright inside like some of the local Turkish places so is good with a hangover! Prices are good - a lamb shish eat in is around £9 I think and large wrap to take out £7 ish. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a good turkish this side of Stoke Newington.

Four of ate here last Thursday evening and loved it. The price we paid for our main dishes included houmous, tzatziki and bread, plus baklava and tea- so we in fact got a three course meal! We found the staff welcoming and efficient and the food fantastic. Each dish came with a huge fresh salad. We had the vegetable kebab, falafel, lamb kebab and grilled sardines and all were perfect. Excellent value and highly recommended.

El ambiente es acogedor, el servicio es agradable, pero. . Pero. . La comida es simplemente deliciosa. Nuestro favorito es el divino misket kofte (albóndigas de carne) y el Imam bayildi (berenjena) para entrante, con una mezcla de kebab principal bebida regados con un delicioso yogur ayran. Ten (de manera positiva) el sabor barbacoa pueden entretenerse en su paleta para algunas horas después de su visita.

Excellent for takeaway or to dine in. Fabulous value for money and decor - simply love this place. The falafels, hummous and mixed kebab are my favourite. It's my favourite local Turkish place!

I've eaten literally hundreds of kebabs in my life, and I simply love this place. The best of a selection of very good kebab places along a couple of miles of this road. Really reasonably priced too.

Do not be fooled by the air of the place - the food is top notch and the staff is friendly. They will cook right in front of you. It is quite affordable (more ££ than ££££).

Beyti is my favorite kebab place for when i'm on a budget. When I am working I don't have much time to waste with healthy options usually, They allow me to maintain a balanced diet while still enjoying what I eat and not breaking the bank while I'm at it.The Decor is very traditional and the atmosphere is very homely. I've brought friends and work colleagues and they all love it!

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday night whilst we were on a break in London. My mother had recommended this restaurant to me when she had visited previously so we thought we would try it out.The food was fantastic! I had vine leaves to start and a spicy lamb kebab and my husband had hummus to start and a traditional kebab. I had rice pudding for dessert (recommended by my mother!)We didn't wait long for our food and our server was very pleasant. The decor was beautiful (I'm assuming traditional turkish), and the whole place was very homely and welcoming.Highly recommended to anyone visiting that area of London!

10 years I've been going. And I have never had anything but a warm welcome and excellent food. Consistency is king and they certainly never disappoint. Lunch, dinner or takeaway

The window displays the stews available that day. If you order one that's not all you will get. For the same price as a couple of pints of beer, you get a generous serving of the stew, rice, bread, a fresh salad, and black tea. The main menu has a wide range of meat and fish dishes all cooked to order and can be served with rice, salads, etc. Everything is fresh and tasty, including the meze. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Everything is available for takeaway but this is no Takeaway! It is a themed restaurant. I can recommend it without reservation.

Living in this area we are spoilt for choice of Turkish restaurants. In the past we have generally travelled further up Green Lanes towards Harringey Ladder and the plethora of restaurants up that way but last week we were short of time and so decided to goi to Beyti which is just down the road and always packed when I've walked past. I'm so glad we did!!The food was fantastic, the service friendly and prompt and it was great value. I had the donor which is not my usual but it just looked so apitising! My partner had the chicken shish. But the standout dish was the humus starter with fresh turkish bread. Yum!This will certainly be my first choice from now on!

I have been going to Beyti for around 20 years now and I still think it's the best Turkish restaurant in London .......... the people/staff are really friendly, the food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable and you can bring your own wine with little or no 'corkage' charge. When you walk into the place and sit down, one feels as though you're in Istanbul! The music is authentic/traditional and the decor is just so appropriate for the place. And of course the variety of food is first class ........ if you have a sweet tooth, you must try the Turkish 'rice pudding' for dessert.

My first time at Beyti and heard a lot as I am a member of the Turkish community. I was pleasantly surprised, even with that high expectation. Food was pretty tasty, well presented and good portion sizes. For two people, we had a CACIK starter, followed by chicken shish and Adana kebabs (they kindly mixed these for us, and I had an EFES beer too. The bill only came to £25 which is pretty cheap. The service was very friendly and prompt so all in all a terrific eating out experience. My only gripe was that the table felt a little bit on sticky side and could have done with a good wipe but that did not spoil a great experience. Had it not been for this would have been an easy 5 star feedback

Visited recently with a friend. Must say the food was excellent and the bill when presented was very reasonable.

We used to go regularly & always enjoyed it.We now feel that the standard of the food is no longer the same. Meats are not fresh & overly salted. Prices have also increased. There is now a restaurant a few doors down which seems to be better. It's a shame we used to like it here please improve as there are competitors all along Green Lanes who know how to keep their customers :o

We've been going to Beyti for almost 15 years and have seen some changes with staff, but I have to say that the standard of food and service has remained high. This little place is a far cry from the new, larger Turkish eateries you find in nearby Wood Green and Dalston. Here, the atmosphere is far more intimate and the food has a home made depth of flavour which I find lacking elsewhere. Prices are also very reasonable. I would recommend a mixed grill with delicious misket kofte (meatballs with tomato sauce) on the side. The soups are also very good.

Great traditional Turkish restaurant on green lanes. Can eat in or takeaway, food always lovely tasty and fresh! Not expensive but not ridiculously cheap either but worth every penny.

We have been coming here for many,many years and this is one of our all time favourite eating places.A very short walk from my Dad's home,this is the place we go to when we go back home to visit.This place is not about grandeur or glitz- it's good traditional Turkish cuisine with a large and varied selection,always cooked to perfection, and masses of it too ! Service is always friendly and the booze is always cheap and plentiful - a big must for me ! This is top of my list of absolute all time favourites and I hope it's there for many more years to come.

Walking distance from home means that this is one of our most popular choices to eat out. The food is always very good indeed and excellent value for money.

We go to Beytis everytime we feel like familiar friendly place to be that's not home, and we've been going for years, and has always been the same - delicious, cheap and really brilliant people owning and running it, who have been there for a long time. a lovely lovely place, amazing food.

We eat at the Beyti alone or with friends at least once a week, and house guests we have taken there always ask to go back. Food is uniformly delicious, well-seasoned and flavoursome, great value, and the staff are lovely. Particularly recommended are the mixed cold meze starter, the fried courgette cakes (mucver), the mixed kebab and the lamb beyti. They serve late into the night, and even let you bring your own wine. You have to queue sometimes on a weekend.
