Very basic hotel. Lacking a kettle and a fridge in the rooms. The staff is friendly. The interiors could do with an upgrade. Good location, close to all amenities and transport.

Great location! The ideal location for visiting London. The rooms are clean. Hotel Attendant Muhammed is also very attentive. You can easily reach anywhere with a 2-minute walk from Paddington station, and you can also take a walk in Hyde park in the evenings. Only the rooms are quite small, but if your aim is to travel, this will not be a problem. We stayed for 5 days and I definitely recommend it.

The hotel was not a 5 star but pleasant. The owner was very welcoming and very friendly and so was the hotel clerk. The WiFi was not behaving itself at all when being in the room. What was important, was having a roof over my head, a warm bed and running water

Only good things to say - it was clean, I felt safe, the staff are kind, and the location is excellent. As other reviews mention, the decor isn’t new or luxury but the bed was good and the shower was hot with clean towels.

Well located hotel, close to supermarkets, restaurants, buses, subways, trains... We knew that London has a reputation for having expensive accommodation, and for €100 a night you can expect a little more, but compared to other hotels, we couldn't complain. It has a private bathroom in the room, 2 beds and it was very clean. The staff is very friendly and there is 24 hour coffee and tea at reception

A beautiful, small hotel close to the train station and the bus stop, and 7 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park. The room is small and reasonable compared to the price. The hotel is quiet and the receptionists are understanding and helpful. There is no bidet in the bathroom. It is very warm in the winter. The prices are reasonable.

Good basic convenient hotel. The hotel is dated but has all the necessary amenities. I would recommend if you are staying for a few days in London and just need somewhere to sleep night.

Excellent value for money in an excellent location. The reception boy Nikhil, very kind and always available. Clean but small room. Breakfast is also available for a fee (£8) at the nearby property. Promoted breakfast.

We had a short-notice, unplanned stay at this guesthouse because our flight was canceled at short notice. "Mohammed" welcomed us very warmly and humorously! We were immediately provided with coffee, tea, and pastries! Our luggage was also safely looked after until our final departure while we explored the city a bit! The rooms were a bit noisy, but that wasn't any better even in our much more expensive hotel before! Everything was clean and perfectly functional! We found it cozy and felt at home. Mohammed...thank you for everything. We wish you a happy and healthy New Year 2025.

The hotel location is excellent and close to most tourist places.. Sleeping in the room is good for two people.. and the staff there are really special, special. Thank you

Good place to sleep if visiting London as a tourist This is my 3rd time staying here in less than 2 years and although it is an old hotel the staff are very friendly and attentive, the beds are very comfortable and the shower has good pressure and temperature. It is very well located and the neighborhood is very quiet. The wifi does not work very well and there is little 4G coverage in some rooms.

The room is so small that you can barely move inside, the stairs are narrow, they don't change the towels or clean the room throughout the weekend, 3 minutes after the check out time the cleaning man came knocking on the door as if he were going to break it down, the heating didn't work, very cold... I DO NOT recommend it at all

We stayed four days, excellent hotel, clean and 100 meters from paddington station to move wherever you want as well as next to Hyde park which is an excellent park, also the staff and management of the hotel were very kind and willing to serve you with anything you need .

An older place where the maintenance hasn't really been kept up. E.g. The top of the shower frame is held together with duct tape, and the toilet lid is broken. The rooms are small but not out of the ordinary for London. The location is great - walking distance to Paddington station(s). Lots of restaurants and shops around.

One morning there was no hot water in the shower, and the other the water came and went intermittently. The same thing happened with the hair dryer, which went on for a while and then stopped working. There is no elevator to access the highest floor, as they say it is because it is a historic building, although others on the same avenue do have one. Very good location next to Paddington station, and close to Hyde Park. Friendly staff. They offer tea and biscuits at reception.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was furry black mould in the bathroom. The room was dark and in the basement and completely different to the description and photos online. The mattress was saggy, the pillows were thin, and the room was so damp that the toilet paper was soggy. Most of the power sockets did not work. The room felt unhygienic, uncomfortable and unsafe due to its location (door accessible from the outside near a fire escape) and lack of phone reception. The staff were rude and dishonest when I asked them to resolve the issue by moving me to another room or providing a refund so I could stay elsewhere. They claimed no-one had ever complained about the room before despite the many 1-star reviews here and on other booking platforms describing the same problems. I wish I had read the negative reviews and the responses of the owner before I booked.

I have stayed 7 days with my students. Location, staff and dear Litsa, all were super. Very close to Paddington station and you can find lots of dining alternatives. Also the rooms were cleaned everyday. They changed the towels everyday. So it was a comfortable week for us. Thanks for everything to dear Litsa.

Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. 70 stairs to the top floor and a spiral staircase with a fire door.

Really really happy with my accommodation. Excellent value for money in such a convenient location. Short walk to Paddington Station with easy access to various London locations and to Heathrow. Also a lovely walk through Hyde Park. My room was on the 3rd floor so the staff had my suitcase sent up. Be prepared for stairs which is in keeping with these old London buildings. Lovely hot shower and good heating. Staff and owners are friendly and helpful.

It is located in a very quiet residential area, although within walking distance of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Paddington tube station is a 3-minute walk away and Lancaster Gate is a 10-minute walk away, as is one of the entrances to Hyde Park. I stayed in a single room for one night, on a room-only basis, although they actually gave me a double room, for which I paid £45 (about €52). The room had a TV, hairdryer, enough plugs, several tubes of gel and shampoo... The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very small, but the shower worked very well. It is a modest hotel, in the typical Victorian house without an elevator, but it is clean and much better than other hotels I have been to in the same area and for which I have paid much more. The receptionists, very friendly. In short, an excellent option; In relation to quality-price it is almost impossible to find something better.

I had booked a small double bed room. At first I thought it was very small, but now we find it very comfortable. If a larger one had been available, I could have changed at any time. Cleanliness very good. Staff very nice. Initially needed help closing the window, it was taken care of immediately. Hotel is highly recommended and completely sufficient for just staying overnight.

Caught up in the crazy stampede for available trains at Paddington on Thursday 28th March. The world and his Wife trying to escape for Easter but floods caused cancellations and, if you have ever seen the herds of wilderbeest crossing the plains of Africa then you were on platform 8, as well. Three trainloads into one just doesn't go. Like many others, 3 or 4 hours standing( even if you could get through the scrum at the doors) was too much. I found a hotel close by, thank God! Good Friday was similar, the hungry passengers hunting in packs for their trains to the south west. I avoided that first wait and grabbed a pasty and coffee. This gave me the energy to track down the prey! The Board gives no platform signs but Trainline does! Even though others discovered this, I found a seat to Exeter at last, a day later than planned. Delayed by flood detours I eventually reached Exmouth and fell into my local pub for the next few hours. Glad to be home!

Beverley House Hotel exceeded my expectations with its prime location near Hyde Park and attentive service. The receptionist, a young man, was incredibly helpful and even offered sweets and biscuits upon my arrival. The accommodations were tastefully appointed, and the on-site amenities, including the restaurant and fitness center, were top-notch. Overall, Beverley House Hotel offers a memorable stay for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.

Room for 2 adults and 2 small children. (Jan 2023) Very affordable. Great location. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly.

The room was small but adequate for our two-night stay and the location is great as it’s only a three minute walk from Paddington station. The heating system was a bit noisy so perhaps has some airlocks in but it wasn’t a major problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. They don’t have meals available but there are shops and restaurants just round the corner. A very pleasant stay and would use it again for sure.
