Best Pizza Express in Northumberland

Absolutely abysmal service from Best Pizza Express - We've been ordering with them regularly for quite a few years, never had any issue. Today when we ordered, one of the wraps had no salad on it so I rang them up and asked for a replacement which after a while they agreed to "when we have time" (at first they didn't want to agree to that and asked if we could just do without it this time) after about 20 minutes a new wrap arrived. Here's the fun part - the driver asked us to bring the other wrap to investigate it. He immediately got arsy that too much of the wrap was eaten, and he ended up taking both of the wraps away. He left rubbish on our front yard too (we got videos of this encounter). We rang best pizza three times and after explaining the situation with 3 different people we were hung up on. Honestly a shame, had been our go-to, but now will find a new takeaway. It has been one hell of a circus show tonight, thanks. EDIT: They refused to refund us because according to them we refused the new wrap delivery when it was the driver who said he won't give us the new wrap because we ate too much of the wrong one.

Awful customer service. Was our go-to takeaway which we've used regularly for many years. This time they missed part of meal and we called to request a replacement. They asked if we could do without this time as they were busy. Asked for a refund instead if they couldn't replace and they immediately said they'd send one out "When we have time" and immediately hung up. Driver returned with replacement but refused to hand over as some had already been eaten. Delivery driver left with both old and new meal, leaving litter on floor. Called restaurant who refused to replace or refund. Very disappointing for a company we'd been happy with for a long time, but service was completely unacceptable throughout process.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered our food at 7.30 and told it would be here in 45 minutes. It’s now 10.31 pm and despite ringing twice no food. Just keep getting told yeah 20 minutes. So we’re all having toast and going to bed and they can post it through the letter box for the dog. Zero customer service skills and will be telling everyone who’ll listen to steer clear.

Really fast delivery, piping hot, and super tasty. Ordered at 23:00 and here within 20 mins.

Chips were hot a fresh, pizza was really good Kebab meat was ok, Chilli sauce lacks spice Garlic sauce was alright Driver friendly

Delivery time was great. Cheesy chips were nice, but the chicken kebab was awful. It tasted full of grizzle and it didn’t even taste like grilled chicken. It was lukewarm and super disappointing.

My god the food was bad, can't even cook chips right. Cold and late. This shop used to be great, not anymore. Phoned up to complain and they just put the phone down. Customers just don't seem to be important to this business...

Disappointed that the chips aren’t fresh and seem like they’ve been microwaved, the kebab meat is tiny shreds and very very greasy. Chilli sauce is the best in Blyth tho.

While the food was hot and fresh, the toppings were lacking.

The pizza filling is only in the middle nothing on the edge at least an inch all the way round

We always use best pizza express as they’re usual incredible. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t. Both pizzas just tasted odd and the garlic sauce tasted different.

Normally spot on from here but tonight the chips arrived cold, the salad had a bitter, sour taste. Hopefully just a one off. Garlic bread was lovely.

This is my go to place every week.. because of dieting I've not ordered for a few weeks. I know Friday nights get busy but just don't send a order out with 10 others so mine is stone cold when it arrives. Nothing personal but a tip for the owner. The manager is a very rude and arrogant person don't give any respect to customers. He always look annoyed and angry don'teven smile while serving food. Owner should take a notice on this. Food is always nice that's why I go to this place.

I didn’t received my order that was predicted at 20.00 to 20.20 I didn’t receive my order by this time I phoned at 20.55 to ask where my food order was to be told it had been delivered I had no knock on the door I also have a door ring bell with video record no recordings by then I checked my door of the possible delivery by 20.40 to find my delivery on my door step brought it in cold I’ve ordered time by time to never experience this sorry to say

Scheduled for 21.30. Updated at 22.00 to say was going to be delivered at 22.20. Didn't arrive until 22.30. Called the restaurant and was cut off twice.

Chicken was very chewy and very cold could not even eat the food, was put off from first bite not edible

They added mushrooms and onions yet when I chose my toppings there was nothing that stated it would come with those on! My partner is allergic to mushrooms and therefore couldn’t even eat any with me. Waste of money and food. Utterly disappointed, it should’ve specified!

The pizza is excellent get it almost every week the locations not the best the service is alright sometimes a bit awkward but when I comes down to food it's delicious

Food was good as always but not very happy with the delivery driver said he had knocked but we were all in the sitting room n didn’t hear anything to then get greeted with an awful attitude. The women driver is always lovely but the one tonight was so rude! To then have something to say about my dogs barking (which they do any normal dog would) is unacceptable!

There was plastic in the food.probably from the flimsy salad packs.no I don't want to take this further,just letting yous know your salad packs are no good.

Fantastic food delivery man was so poile could not ask for any better service

Unfortunately our food arrived half an hour late, having allready waited an hour and a half for the original delivery slot. When it arrived, the chips were mushy, some of the onion on my pizza was inedible as it should have been discarded. And the bolognese on the pizza was over peppery.

The food was late, and when we contacted the restaurant- we were told they'd tried to deliver and had called my phone. Neither of which was true. They said they had the order sitting there - and it was redelivered. We ordered a meal deal. The driver dropped the pop, which burst on our driveway and the food was cold. The chips were inedible. We asked if the driver had tried delivering earlier - he said he hadn't. We don't think any attempt had been made. Usually happy with the service from Best Pizza, but this time it was very poor.

I dont live in blyth but been staying in North blyth googled a pizza place and thought we would try it well worth a visit been back a few times wont go anywhere else but here 😀 😉 👍 😊 😄 .

The food we got was not ours this was left of somebody else’s order and given to us, food was stone cold and disgusting I contacted the shop directly. This is very disappointing and I would like a full refund from them and I will not be using them in future, I ordered food at 8.58pm and it arrived at 9.14pm stone cold and incorrect

Chicken in the chicken kebab was rock solid and over cooked and freezing cold by the time it came. Very disappointed.
