Lovely cakes and lovely staff. Felt really comfortable here in this cosy cafe and the strawberry and cream cake was the best, lemon drizzle was good too. I bought scones and the custard cream blondie to take away. They were delicious too.

Nice service in a community run cafe, happy to find in adverse weather. Serve good homemade soup and cafe food.

We were renting a cottage close to the community centre and called in several times for cakes to take home. They were pronounced delicious by my husband and daughter. The community centre is a great resource for the area well run. clean and with welcoming friendly staff. We even saw a film here as part of the film festival.

Great stop for coffee and cake, which were both tasty and friendly service. The museum is an absolute gem of island information with really well informed staff and real family feel

A well-run community cafe. Drinks, snacks and mainish meals. Pleasant people, efficient service and the home-made cakes are on another level, especially the salted caramel sponge...

A brilliant little Community cafe, lovely home made soup, beautiful scones with strawberries, all very good value. The very friendly staff were happy to talk about local places and events and we really enjoyed their company. We were pleased that we arrived early for lunch as they weren't too busy then and made us very welcome. We came back for a second visit! The museum next door was excellent too. Congratulations to you all!

Dropped in for coffee and scones. I dropped one of my strawberries and they gave me two new ones. The strawberries grown locally were wonderful. It is a lovely cafe with very friendly staff.

Enjoyed a latte in a coffee to go cup with delicious moist coconut and chocolate gf cake in cafe. Much more choice if you fancied soup or other beverages and snacks or cakes. Toilets, free parking and useful tourist blurb available. Welcome stop in friendly community setting. Recommended.

This lovely place was a nice refuge along our journey across Berneray. Immaculately clean, bright and new looking. The lady at the till was lovely and the food choice was good. We enjoyed our lunches very much. The side salad great with chopped herbs and nice dressing and the toastie and bacon sandwich were just right. The lemon curd cake was a treat too. Left feeling refreshed and happy. Thank you!

Saw the sign back on the main road saying it closed at 4pm so arrived at 2.45 to find they were closing at 3pm due to it being late in the season.

Another excellent community café on Great Bernera serving excellent soup and sandwiches for lunch the cakes looked very good as well and the service was friendly and efficient. They also sell some really good locally produced gifts and souvenirs. Well worth stopping if you have been visiting the excellent Iron Age House at Bosta highly recommend a visit here for superb refreshments.

The home made soup and home baking using local sourced produce when in season is to die for. All food is freshly prepared and very good value. The staff and locals are all friendly and make you very welcome.

Does what it says on the tin: the community cafe for a caring community. And, if I recall correctly, it does some very good cakes, soups, sandwiches and hot dishes at lunchtime. Just what you need after visiting the Iron Age house at Bosta(dh), which is a must if you're in Lewis in the summer

What a great visit! Smooth and flavourful coffee, amazing range of attractive baked goods - I went for the red velvet blondie - and a friendly welcome too. Busy little place, seemed to work for families as well as me with my book in the corner. Thanks so much.

Mac and cheese, whilst nicely served lacked flavour… no salt and pepper on table. Waitress delightful. Partner had the steak, nicely cooked, asked for mustard… none available.

A good cafe for breakfast and lunches serving basic fare ( everything with chips !) and home baking. Open from 8.30 am until last food orders at 3 pm. I had a bacon and black pudding roll which contained a substantial slice of Stornoway black pudding. Waited 20 minutes for it despite the cafe being almost empty. The cafe has an outdoor deck with views over the sea and it is adjacent to the Kilbride campsite. It has free WiFi.

Very poor value, Spent £25 on the seafood platter no langastines so they supplemented with Scallops which i thought would be ok. when it came out there must have been about 2 Scallops thinly sliced fanned over the plate a small piece of fish and small pile of crab meat and two slices of brown bread.
