Good service in the bar and restaurant. Food excellent! Staff very pleasant and efficient. Set up efficiently for Covid.

Same as the restaurant, they decide if you can use your app! Shouldn’t be part of the app as far as I’m concerned

No atmosphere on a quiet night. Some background music might have helped! Starters were very poor. Extremely poor value for money. Ravioli at £5.50 was just 2 envelopes swimming in butter/oil with no bread to soak up! Fig and mozzarella salad at £6.50 included cheese which was not proper mozzarella but just what you can buy on a block in supermarket. Both starters hugely overpriced for what was on the plate! Main course was good. Pork fillet was nice and Stilton mushrooms. Deserts were average. The chocolate fondants were not runny! Customers service was ok on the whole but the chosen wine was brought to table with no attempt to check it was the correct one and poured with no offer to taste first! Has happened before at this restaurant and they have not learned.

Me alojé en el hotel para una conferencia y reservamos en la brasserie para mi cena. Un martes por la noche, era tranquilo, pero que estaba bien para mí como un solitario diner con el trabajo es bastante agradable tener el lugar para ti. Los camareros eran muy amables y yo pedimos el tomar solomillo. llegó en forma oportuna y el bistec fue preparado a la perfección, justo como me había pedido. Las patatas fritas eran muy bonitas, no basura patatas fritas cocina holandesa al aire libre o duros y la salsa peppercorn era agradable y picantes. Pedí extra aros de cebolla y me alegro porque estaban muy bien también. Bien presentado. Buena comida del hotel. Quizás no sea una buena cena a la Michel Roux pero bueno, sabrosa bien menús y comida caliente. Tamaño de las porciones muy bien, yo no tuve espacio para un postre.

A fantastic place to eat and given its location, near Berkeley Castle, convenient if you are attending a Castle event. The staff are very pleasant and will do everything they can to make your visit enjoyable. The food was superb with a Chicken and Mushroom Pie that would be hard to beat. The Unique Eaton Mess for dessert was worth the visit on it's own and I wouldn't fail to recommend this restaurant to anyone or to return when in the South Gloucestershire area.
