The reception name Idris so friendly and kind to help us during our stay. He always smile and asking if there anything he can help. We are really happy staying here. One of the best hotel in bayswater. Highly recommended to anyone looking for the hotel to stay near central london. Everything was good during my stay. Got nice Malaysian restaurant and the staff very helpful and friendly. We will coming back. Thank you for the nice hospitality.

I stayed there for the weekend of 22-23 march 2025. The location is really perfect, close to 2 metro station (Bayswater & Queensway) and every shop you can think of as first necessity is there. The receptionists, Trevor and Idriss, were really helpful and friendly. I’ll keep a nice memory of them. The room was also nice and clean

From January 20 to 24 I had the misfortune of enjoying this hotel. Noisy, old and a sorry room. The room had the hallway measuring 0.8 x 2 meters and the rest 1.5 x 3 meters for the 90 cm bed, which was very uncomfortable and attached to the wall. The only thing that was worth it was the location.

Malaysian support Malaysia hotel & this is the worst hotel ever. Nvr expect such lousy experienced..check in on 10 2 2025 for continous 3 nites. Check in counter told me our room was another corner where we have to bring our lugage using staircase. After looking at our lugage, he offer us another room using misrable small lift and ony fits 2 person at one time. No choice, this is their ony lifts. So, we were in basement small smelly room, rotten like bed etc..and i requested to change and they promised to change to refurbish room the next day. No choice, hv to bear with it for a nite. Changed room n we r happy with it..we suposed to check out on 13.2.2025 to catch flight back home but unlucky both me and my daughter was down with vomiting and diareahea. We were lucky as airline reschduled our flights to 16.2.2025. Hotel allowed us to stay the room but need to rebooked on Agoda & worst, we hv to rebooked every day. Why cant they just let us pay and stay and y need to book and book! We continue to stay on same room on 13.2.2025. We rebooked on 14.2 and managed to get a room. The rates of hotel is just like share market, go up and down. Usually is up. This time, we were requested to move to different room, reception help us to carry up our lugage to a room. We got a room. We try rebooked on 15.2 and hotel is fully booked. Means we have to get out at 11am. I called the reception to alowed us half an hour to pack up n leave. House keeping knock on our door at 11.20am, just like chasing us out! What a shame hotel! We hv to ownself transfer our heavy lugage frm up to down! Speechless, any1 want hotel, just look out for many more around them..their hotel hv to totally changed all the bed! We pay for a sleep n clean room and easy access to room n not to carry lugage up and down. All men work as reception, cant help! Shame. If not bcos we are ill, we dont even want to extend same hotel. Good luck to whoever want to stay here!

Stayed for one night, the room was clean although I have two issues, the radiator was on full and couldn't be turned down opening the window helped. Secondly my room was directly under the dining room and I could hear the chairs and tables being moved. Lots of restaurants nearby and also close to the tube.

I am writing here for the second time because several of my emails over the past few week re. Inquiries of the Refund of my Damage Deposit -have gone unanswered. Referring to my review about two weeks ago and several email responses from the person who may be in charge of this case at the hotel- that seem to only stalling , This person is very unfamiliar of the refund process involving Bank Transfer, so until this moment, the damage deposit of GBP 50 has not been received! Their reason "some banks take longer than usual" is very unprofessional : taking such an important matter very lightly. especially since when I requested proof of the BANK TRANSFER , this person claimed the data is recorded in their accounting department. However, until now, since their last email, they have not provided the bank transfer Proof! I have explained that at the time of the debit, the receptionist on duty did not accept cash options to facilitate easier refund upon my check out. I understand their Policy regarding the deposit, so I transacted using my DEBIT CARD. The receptionist assured me that my money would be refunded upon check-out. Since I used my DEBIT CARD, upon check out, the hotel should at least inquired about the details of my debited account so that my money can be refunded via BANK TRANSFER, allowing them to provide strong evidence. After their 2nd email response, they RATHER attached a Pdf photo a VOID Receipt which DOES NOT CONSTITUTE STRONG EVIDENCE OF MY MONEY REFUND!! I have worked in banking for over 20 years, so in relation to this case, I detect that the process of refunding my money is being handled suspiciously. What exactly are they hiding in this case of my refund that is being complicated to such an extent, jeopardizing the reputation and integrity of the hotel owners?? In this matter, I am asserting my rights for The Berjaya Eden Park Hotel London to provide their commitment to settle this case with GOODWILL, professionalism, and INTEGRITY.

Very good location. Can go morning walk in Hyde Park and Kensington Garden. So many halal eatery even at the hotel itself. Can endure small rooms for a very convenient location.

The location is very advantageous. The subway is just outside the door. The surrounding environment is very safe and I dare to travel outside at night. There are all the shops you need around. Although the room is small, it is very warm. The bathroom is also very clean. The price is very reasonable for one person to live in. The price/performance ratio is very high.

By far the best place to stay... Very affordable, gets your straight to Baywater Station of Queensway Station... Easy access to busses around London central... Plenty of Halal food nearby... Their staffs name Nuwan is very helpful... I will definitely come and stay here again...

Was alright, had a single room with window, heating was working, bit old furniture but all in all clean and the bathroom was new made and in good shape! The highlight was the Malaysian breakfast - soo tasty! I’ll come back only for the restaurant 😋

The location is very good. There is a bus stop, subway station and hyde park nearby. But this hotel is very poor. The facilities are poor compared to the price. I don't recommend this hotel.

The rooms in general are small, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay compared to the room price. Hot water in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Curtains that block sunlight. But the pillows are uncomfortable, and the sound insulation between the rooms and from the outside is almost non-existent. The sounds are annoying, especially since there was construction work nearby. Of course, like most hotels in London, the building is very old and its corridors are small and more like a maze, because I expect that it is more than one building open to each other, and you may be afraid to carry your bags yourself in a small and tired staircase, but in the rooms that overlook the street or the deluxe ones, they are excellent. If I book the second time, I will take them. Everything is close to you, a beautiful area with restaurants, cafes, bus and metro stations, and all services, and the hotel and the area have a very high safety rate at all times of the day.. London hotels are very expensive, and to get a very acceptable hotel at this price is considered an excellent thing.. The employees are excellent. There was a brother from Bangladesh and a second brother from Sri Lanka. They were very respectful and helpful. I even had a problem with the safe and within minutes they fixed it.

喜歡留宿這地方，方便，近mtr, 安全屋苑 I stay there in mid Oct for a week I like the place , convenient location with 3 minutes walking to Bayswater station, lots of restaurants nearby and supermarkets too It is a warm place with starry sky at night and is a slient neighborhood , I had a good mood when I look out of the window from the hotel Nice staff and helpful when I called for help on hot water supply problem in my room. 1 little thing not perfect is the wooden floor , made noise when you walk on it . Overall is a good place to stay for a week with friends and family , highly recommend .

I was there with my family for 7 days triple room. That was the worst ever decision I made. They gave me a baseman room right under the lobby. The noise was killing me I couldn’t sleep. the bed was hard as a rock. The only good thing was the bathroom cause it was spacious and the location there was two train station nearby. if you ever travel to London and you are more than 3 people I suggest you to rent an Airbnb. Or pay a little bit more and get a better hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here - the Hainese chicken rice was delicious and satay starters were very yummy.

I recently stayed at Berjaya Eden Park Hotel in London, and my experience was truly awful. I believe this is one of the worst hotels in the world. There’s no lift to the ground floor, which is very inconvenient. The room was dirty, with stains on the bedding and a bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned properly. Additionally, the front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive when I raised my concerns. I left feeling very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Extremely disappointed.

You are surprised at the time of check-in that you have to pay a 50-pound deposit, but they do not return it at all. This is a scam. Be careful. Also, the hotel is very old. The real rating is one star. I left the hotel on the 20th and didn't get any money. Today is the fifth day. You can also follow the camera and you will see a Chinese lady. The staff closed the door in her face as she asked for her money back in cash.

The location is very close to Bayswater train station. Easy access to everywhere and surrounded by so many shops. Near The Hyde park which is really good for doing exercise in the morning. The reception and Food Beverage staffs are friendly. I like the Ali kampung fried rice. One of my fav dishes. Recommended hotel.

Location is convenient and few steps away from Bayswater station and walking distance to Kensington gardens. The receptionists were helpful with the luggages. Room was clean but is a bit small. Needs refurbishment as the decor/beds are a bit dated. Overall, happy with the stay.

Best hotel to stay in London with good services and public transports nearby (queensway & bayswater underground station). The room is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly & helpful👍👍

We were thrilled. It's an older hotel, but clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the first floor facing the street. There is also a small lift for suitcases. Our room had two double beds, balcony, air conditioning and bathroom with shower. You could smoke downstairs on the corner, there was a trash can. The room was cleaned every day, even on the last day. We (3 people) had enough space. We heard the neighbors every now and then, but that didn't bother us because we got into the room early in the morning and late in the evening and just took a shower and went to sleep. Just around the corner was the Bayswater tube station and lots of restaurants and supermarkets. There was also a restaurant in the hotel, unfortunately we didn't go to the restaurant, but it was always very busy. So we can recommend the hotel. Everything worked out for us. Pictures of the room in the appendix. We didn't have any mold in the room and the room was cleaned every day. We'll definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team for our great stay in London.

Good value for money and location

We stayed at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel from Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th July 2024, first time in London and without a doubt the best decision was the stay because of the hotel's location, ideal for movement by metro, taxis, buses or walking. It is a classic hotel but you can only see it in the common areas (reception, stairs, elevator, etc.) instead the room is completely renovated and was beautiful and comfortable.

Stayed at this hotel for a long stay and the staff Celso, Addy, and Fernanda were amazing and service was good. Very helpful staff and courteous and very informative. Location is very convenient to central London.

Small dated room, paper thin walls, stayed 4 days and not a day with hot water. My room were above the restaurant and the noise was loud and clear You’re close to hyde park tho

This is a difficult review to write. The room was very outdated. It's clean but really cramped and could use a major renovation. Very poor water pressure in the shower. The hallways are narrow which can be expected in such old buildings. The pictures on the website are definitely taken by a very skilled person. The location is great with two metro lines and station within 5 min walking distance. The staff was friendly. Someone else mentioned as well that "hostel" would be more appropriate word for this place. We felt that we got taken advantage with the cost of the stay considering the quality.

Honestly the worst hotel iv ever stayed in. Work booked us in this place which looks fine from the outside. What we didn't know is they charge you a £50 deposit which you don't get back for 3-5 working days! Then I got sent to my room which was in the basement! No heating..old metal windows which were drafty as hell! A bathroom that stunk of damp..then I went to have a shower and the water came out brown!! Would never ever stay here again..shocking isn't the word!

The room is without air cond and a table fan is given upon request. Water heater as hot as it gets and the knob to adjust the cold and hot water is stucked. If you have extra money, get a better hotel then nearby.

As a frequent traveler to London, Berjaya Eden Park is my go-to hotel for its attractive room rate, cleanliness, & central location (literally 20 steps from Circle line, Central line, & Kensington Park) The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, spare pillows, & equipped with free high speed internet, TV, electric kettle, and tea/coffee & milk sachets replenished every day. The rooms have clean ensuite bathrooms, & housekeeping staff are always at hand to cater to additional needs such as ironing board upon request. The hotel reception has a choice of free international newspapers to carry to your room, and also benefits from an in-house Malaysian restaurant with great choice on the menu. Supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury are just behind the hotel and the surrounding area offers a good variety of restaurants & bars, & a bowling alley. Upon checkout the hotel also offers free luggage storage during the day for those last minute excursions before our flight. Some might find the room size a bit small, but this is typically how the London rooms are... the room rate & facilities make up for it. All of the Front Office staff are excellent, especially the manager Tiago who will sort out your issues. Overall, this hotel is rated better than the rest in the vicinity.

Since it was early in the morning when I arrived in London, it was still far away from the check-in time. However, with the help of the receptionist (Mr. Eddie), my luggage was temporarily stored at the hotel and he helped provide a room as soon as possible so that I could start my London trip. travel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to all daily necessities, and is close to the subway station and bus station, making it very convenient to travel to central London.

The beds were unusually short, and it was workers directly outside the window from early morning. No water pressure at the shower. Service was fine, and the hotel is great placed near by the underground. We are very sorry that we wrote very bad feedback's after trying to get in touch by e.mail several times. The refund was not proved as you said. But after more than a half year you finally sent us the prove we ask for. Then its our fault, we shoud check it better! Anyway, the standard was not comfort. But maybe we just was unlucky with that room. After all, we hope to come back later and experience it different. Best regards Carina & John (Norway)

Barely passable for a short stay as luck had it, the heater radiator wasn't working on my first two nights, but the hotel did have portable heaters to lend us so that's a plus. On my last night, the hotel boiler broke down and I had to bathe in ice cold water. All in all, it's good for a short stay in either full spring or autumn cos you wouldn't need heater nor air conditioning. Location it's really good as it's located near Bayswater (District Line) and Queensway (Central Line).

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in the last couple of weeks of February 2024. We stayed at a double room spacious enough to lay open our luggages. Room was effectively warmed by the heater. Cabinet with hangers and safe available. There were also coffee and tea supplies. There was also cable tv. Bathroom was neat. It has bathtub and the water heater was working well. Shampoo, body wash, soap, and tissue available. Daily room service did amazing job in cleaning, replacing towels, changing trash bins, and fixing bed everyday. Please note, elevator here is small -- only for two occupants at a time. Corridors also narrow. Bring own toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, and electronic adaptor. No in-room fridge. Our stay here was generally satisfactory and we consider choosing this on our return. Front desk attendants were very nice and helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage to their secured storage even after our check-out as we did last day explorations in London. *** Hello Berjaya London! Suggestion for in-room fridge and microwave service at the front desk or the restaurant. Thanks!!

I don’t suggest this hotel. There are other hotels nearby have better price and much better rooms and service. Very poor sound insulation. When I checked out. They even no Take the initiative to refund my deposit. When I remember after few minutes come back.I need to come back take the deposit.

The customer service staff are very kind. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. There is also a very delicious Malay restaurant Med Salleh downstairs. I will come again.

DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT stay at this hotel. I stayed here in Jan 2024 & had a bad experience with the female front desk employee. We couldn’t find our room. When we checked in, she just gave us a brief directions to find our room & we couldn’t becos the hotel is a maze! The corridor was dark & not lighted too. They had sensor lights that light up but means you have to go walk all the way to the far end of the corridor to see whats over at the far end & to make things worse the floors were old & creaked when we walked that i was so frightened to walked when i first came over cos i thought the floors wuld give in. We had to come to the female front desk twice to tell her we could not even find the lift. At the 2nd time, she was absolutely rude abt it to my husband & didn’t even budged from her seat to atleast show us the way! When we finally realized the lift was at the far end of the corridor (we couldnt see cos it was dark & we didnt walk all the way to trigger the sensor), we have to ludge our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the lift? How ridiculous is that? You have to climb stairs to get to the lift! And i was pregnant so its really not convenient at all. When we finally put our luggage into the rooms, we left for dinner and we came back we found the female receptionist with her legs up on the counter & video calling loudly with a guy & she didnt bother to even hide her unprofessionalism or put down her legs when she saw us. Infact she stared at us threateningly like we owed her money just cos we asked for directions!!!! The hotel needs a major renovation especially the floors! It creaks badly and dent when u walk over them. I seriously was scared that the floors will collapsed under me. Even the room floors was the same. I dared not even walk over a certain area in the room cos it dent so much under weight. The corridors was so creepy and dark that i feel like a zombie might pop up midway. My hairs seriously stood on ends whenever i walk along the corridor esp when the sensor lights is so slow to light up. I seriously am disappointed with this hotel. The warmer & radiator in the rooms dont even work AT ALL. We have to spend 5 freezing nights sleeping! Wifi is bad too. Certain area of the room doesnt even catch on the wifi. The lifts are so small and old. It can only fit 2 person with 2 luggage & it creaks badly. This whole hotel is not safe and is a fire hazard. Its not safe to stay bcos it needs major renovation. I know most of our muslim friends are looking for a hotel with halal malaysian dining. Yes this hotel has it but its not worth your safety. Please spent your money elsewhere for better and more comfortable stay. Trust me. The worst hotel that i stayed in my whole entire life!!!
