Costa Coffee in City of London, Westminster

Couldnt order off app, Coffee was burnt, no toilets.

Not recommended place, place without sink and very expensive

Located right on Piccadilly - really good for a short break as it's quiet and air conditioned. The service was very friendly. All good 👍😁

Overpriced, coffee bitter, bland sandwich

Okay for a quick sandwich or snack, but would usually prefer a Pret.

I asked for an Iced coffee and the 2 guys looked at each other and said- We don’t have ice and aren’t serving iced drinks. So as I sit outside drinking my HOT coffee let’s just say I was not happy when I saw multiple people walking out 10 minutes later with iced drinks. HORRIBLE!!!

Situated inside paddington train station although upstairs adequate escalator to reach the stall

☕ coffee had to much water, not enough milk, watered-down, buns we had were hard, probably out of date. Service, just take customers for granted because of the shops position, overall poor. Take the public for mugs. Problem is, I know my coffee ☕.

Great little coffee shop and very friendly service. Getting a hazelnut shot at last minute was not a hassle, much appreciated.

Just visited this Costa, asked for a glass for coffee to sit in, but still put in takeaway cup. Previous customers had glasses !! It's the fifth coffee with Costa this month, the coffee it's just taste less... what's wrong with you guys??? Go to a quality independent.

Café horrible a un precio desorbitado, no habia azúcar en este mundo que pudiera enmascarar lo malo que estaba, me revolvió el estómago y no disponen de baño. Al menos las chicas fueron muy amables y serviciales.

Never open on time. 7.40 and still waiting outside while the staff suggest to customers that they try the pret coffee shop next door.

Arrived at 9am and ordered and paid for my coffee. Some kind of manager arrived after me and started chatting to staff about till shortages the night before. I was in a hurry but decided to be patient. The barista made a coffee and put it down on the counter. When I was about to grab it she said it wasn’t for me but for the manager that arrived after me. After he grabbed the coffee and left without saying a word she apologised that “he’s always in a rush.” I said I was also in a rush, I was a paying customer and arrived before him. She simply apologised. Overall appalling service. Worst even from the manager that should prioritise paying customers instead of getting his order ahead of them.

4 staff on. Would think they didn't know what they were doing. Messing up orders and keeping people waiting

Visited this Costa today and it's just awful. Used to be ok, now no seating outside. Paper cups only, even if u sit inside, as we did. Server had attitude and everything we asked for seemed an issue. Used to be able to use the loo in the hotel next door, as long as you showed your receipt. Now this had become a problem too. Unfortunately Covid has become an excuse for this shop to do as little as possible. We are two years on from the pandemic and they are acting like it's day one. Don't go here, go to a coffee shop that values your custom. Oh, and they shut at 4pm. Not worth them opening at all really.

Went with my nephew and the staff were beyond. Most cakes etc had gone. He wanted a Salted caramel ice drink but was told by a member of staff loudly NO COLD DRINKS! I was like okay, I was polite and friendly and the girl looked at me like I had just come in off the bottom of her shoe! I asked politely if I could have some tap water and she said Can you wait until I have finished. Like it was a real chore. The man wasn’t much better. Then they proceeded to have the door wide open and bring all the chairs and tables even tho it was only 2:45pm so not closing time! It was freezing. It was like the most unfriendly place ever! I told them their customer service was the worse as I left and they didn’t even say sorry. They were the most miserable I have seen in a Costa. I have a Costa card so will no the exact designation and will complain to Costa. Do better please.

Queued 25 minutes to get out drinks, as soon as we sat down the “Supervisor” waved his hands in our face to tell us he is closing in 5minutes despite the fact the door says 4pm, the website says 5pm and it was 3:40pm. Several people came in between 3:40pm-3:55pm and he turned them away, when he was challenged as it was only quarter to 4, he said he is the supervisor and it is his decision and continued to ignore the woman. Very unprofessional.

Avoid if you can. Small outlet, usual awful, overpriced, tasteless toasties, tho the hot chocolate is OK. No toilets, so beware.

Go at your own risk. This branch really needs some training and a good clean. - Staff very sharp, no communication skills at all which lead to my drink being wrong aswell as other customers and various drinks just sitting on the side waiting for customers to guess which one is theirs. - lady before me got charged twice luckily she noticed before leaving the store. - I tried to assist a member of staff with somebody’s drink order and he just looked at me and shrugged before walking off into the back room to put on his coat and leave. - Place was full of flies. - One staff member used some scissors to poke the bin liner into the bin under the counter then proceeded to use the same scissors to cut open the fresh bags of milk. Letting the Costa brand down worst one I’ve ever been to. Won’t be returning ever again

Buena elección de sándwiches, cafés y otras bebidas calientes y frías, tipo frapuccino. También ofrecen para calentar sándwiches preparados. No es tan caro como el Starbucks.

Service not bad. Ok, Quick making drinks. But one staff member was rude to a tourist, when I was there. The man ordered and went to pay with cash. but could not as they have no credit card. And would not take his cash payment. The woman serving was very rude to the man. And he nearly walked out without food and drink. Luckily a nice lady behind him used her card and paid, and tourist pay the lady cash. Not a bad one place for a stop, but you need to have a card or you get no service, food and drinks. And staff member need to not be so rude. And the shop should taken the cash, as not everyone has credit cards.

Poor service from this costa, seats outside were too low and very uncomfortable. Rubbish everywhere from where customers or barristers haven’t tidyed up. Will not be visiting here again.

The staff were borderline rude, I asked for a second fork with my cake and told no. When asked why was then told they are in the dishwasher. Not what I call customer service.

Worst Costa I have ever been to! The banana cake was hard and not fresh it tasted like it was 3 days old. And my Belgian chocolate cooler made by an inexperienced young girl was tasteless and just tasted like ice. She did not smile and looked miserable while on her shift. This was my 1st and last time at this Costa branch. Thanks for nothing.

Asked for extra hot latte it was just lukewarm.. Staff don't understand the concept of a piece of toast.

Every time I come to this Costa, although it is very often fully packed, the products are fully stocked and I'm impressed with the dexterity of the baristas, big time.

Trato súper agradable y buen café, los servicios los tiene en el hotel que hay justo al lado. Buen descanso con buen café en vasos para take away súper bonitos con motivos navideños.

It’s medium Americano with milk on photo. 2 stars for nice music and because coffee was hot. Don’t look behind till, it’s “a bit” messy there.

Always love a coffee here. After being dragged around the sights of London a Costa is such a welcome break and time to sit down and just breath again. My only gripe is the tables are not always cleared away in time for the next customer during busy periods

Great! Place is not crowded. If you have a receipt you can umsetze very clean restrooms of the hotel next to this coffee shop! Perfect!

Don't accept Costa branded gift cards!

Went to This Costa at 8.08pm and it was closed. The staff members looked up and nobody came to explain why they were already locked up when the door clearly states Mon-Fri 7.30-20.30pm

It was a Costa so I knew what was getting however having arrived with three children to three adults, the first thing I was told was “we are closing in 40 minutes.” Not even a “hello”. If it were not for the fact we were cold and my girls needed food quickly I could have walked out. I was less than impressed.
