Bep Viet in Woking

Food was excellent and good value. I had the special Vianamise curry with pork. Very tasty with a nice heat. Better than I expected from a small street food kiosk.

Authentic vietnamese food in Woking. Since travelling in Vietnam I save yet ti find a more authentic experience in England.

A welcome addition to the Woking food options. Friendly staff, decent quality. Could do with the spicier dishes actually being spicy, but otherwise all very well made. The Pho is particularly good.

Perfect Vietnamese food all round. Having travelled Vietnam in the past, I have found it so hard to find authentic Vietnamese food that tastes like it does in Vietnam. The search is over! If you want real Vietnamese food, try Bep Viet! Whether you are getting Pho, Bun, or Banh Mi, you can be sure it will be delicious. The couple that run the food stall are so lovely, and they always serve you with a smile. Cannot fault the service at all. Overall it's an easy 5 stars from me :)

A really good, big menu with lots of options, excellent portions especially for the very affordable cost! If you eat in at the tables round the corner, they bring you your meal. The food was delicious! We had phō and it was lovely, and the crispy spring rolls are very yummy! Could not recommend it enough, we're looking for a reason to go back to Woking so we can eat here again!!

I’ve been coming to Bep Viet regularly for months now and absolutely love it. I sometimes pop in to Woking just to get it! I always go for the satay chicken with either rice or rice noodles and it’s delicious. The chicken is so tender and flavoursome and I just can’t bring myself to try anything else now because I love that so much. I’ll make it my New Years resolution to try something different next time...

Gen banging scoff, will not commit crime again. The food here has changed me spiritually. Staff are super helpful and very cheerful.

I decided to grab a quick bite to eat in Woking and had a quick look at TripAdvisor for a nice place to go. The staff are pleasant and the food is great. Seating is all outside so I decided to take away but at least there is an option to sit. Good value for money. I look forward to eating there again soon.

Great place for a tasty and also healthy lunch. Popped in on Saturday for a quick lunch and as expected we both had a great dishes. The owners are always friendly and welcoming.

Dropped in for lunch with family. It was a Monday and we had to wait for seats. Service to table was quick after we'd ordered at counter. Food was delicious together with complimentary green tea. Fantastic Vietnamese street food with great flavours. We will definitely be back!

Have eaten here many times with my husband and also with my grandchildren and it is always just delicious......... usually have Pho or Banh Mhi. All their food is good and though it’s an outside area to sit it’s like being in Vietnam and eating original 'street food'. The p,ace is always clean and tidy. Well done guys! You rock!

My last visit I was disappointed and I said so here, but I went back and this time it was everything I had hoped. The pork and prawn spring rolls were lovely even though it would be nice to have some mint and lettuce leaves to wrap around them before dipping in the fish sauce. I opted for the duck soup this time and the broth was rich and aromatic. I wish they put some chillies in or had a better chilli sauce, but that's just my taste. Overall excellent and good value, and I'll certainly be back.

I have been here several times and usually enjoy the crispy pork and prawn spring rolls followed by a soup or a main course. Today I opted for the beef noodle soup and it was fine. I had recently had the equivalent dish at Phoreal on Kingston market and I have to say that was better with more aromatics and citrus and a richer stock, even if it was smaller and more expensive. Still, the Woking food was good but should have had at least a bit of chilli. The disappointment was the spring rolls which had an odd taste. I suspect it was a taint from the oil. I will go back because I have been happy in the past, but it was disappointing today.

Food was excellent. I ordered a beef and noodle dish which was freshly prepared and tasted great. The owner was very pleasant and happy to answer my questions. You can't go wrong with a very filling, fresh, tasty and cheap meal. Best stall in the market walk, I will visit again very soon!

My wife and I were in Woking over lunchtime and spotted Bep Viet. We both fancied a bahn mi, not having one since our travels to Vietnam. Obviously due to the sourcing of ingredients and there being a variance from place to place it wasn't quite the same as an authentic bahn mi but it was very good. The baguette was filled with pork and other ingredients. Shins opposite seemed very popular but we were not disappointed in our choice.

We visited this restaurant to try some more Vietnamese Food and were not disappointed. Lovely choice and delicious food. We will definitely be back.

Superb genuine fresh food at a great price.

We had Banh Mi BBQ’d pork baguettes. Fresh, well filled and tasted pretty good. It’s a take away, but there‘s a small seating area.

We visited here before we went to Vietnam to introduce ourselves and the kids to Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered pho, bun, cha nem (spring rolls), banh bao, The staff we also really helpful explaining to us how to eat gluten-free in Vietnam and which dishes we may have to look out for. Having since travelled north to south in Vietnam and absolutely LOVED Vietnamese food, we can't wait to return.

Today I visited Bep Viet in Woking with my son, a regular and absolute fan of the Beef Pho. On his recommendation, I ordered the Duck Pho with a fried breadstick - we got a free green tea at owner's discretion :-) I wasn't disappointed. The location isn't fancy, isn't lovely, doesn't have a view. You are in a covered concourse with artificial lighting and plenty of foot fall passing through - not what one would choose. But, and it a very big BUT, the food was amazing. If you are looking for a fast food treat in Woking you really can't beat Bep Viet - fresh flavours, so yummy. Street food at its best. I shall be returning. Forget nearby US fast food joints - Bep Viet is so much healthier.

Delicious and lovely service. Come here twice a week for beef pho. So delicious and only £6! Everything is homemade and served fresh.

I've been eating here regularly since it opened in the new market area and it is always good. People say the best Vietnamese places are around the Hoxton area of London, but from experience I prefer Woking's Bep Viet.

You have to try the steamed buns! Staff so friendly and happy, always make me smile :-) Delicious street food.

Steaming broth of that noodles on a very chilly afternoon is exactly what you need. I have tried almost half of the menu on offer so far and they all were fantastic. This place is always on my STOP BY spot everytime I visit Woking.

Lovely staff and lovely food. Food is very authentic and there is a good range to choose from. Would certainly recommend this place.

A colleague brought food back from here and it looked delicious! I immediately went and got myself some food. Their pork buns were amazing, so light and fluffy. I also had a summer roll. This was so fresh and made whilst I waited. I would advise anyone to eat here if they want fresh tasty food. I will certainly be returning.

Exellent food good for snacks and even lunch good service aswell. They have omelettes but I recommend Vietnamese food as it's a Vietnamese resturant. I personally think kids will like the food however there's always omelettes and other stuff if they don't. Would strongly recommend to anyone

Recommend the Chicken Satay Banh Mi. Great flavours, travelled around Asia and they've maintained the delicacy well, not overly westernised. Nice guy running the place also.

This place is so simple and so good that its really surprising. I used to come there from time to time, as their pho is just amazing. If you don't know what to eat in Woking, you should definitely try the pho.. It's a real one made by someone who knows how it should taste..Their spring rolls are also very good.They serve take aways and I can assure you that even when you reach home your pho will be still warm in the way they pack it. Their place is very simple (as a street food is supposed to be), but it taste so good that some fancy restaurants. You can pay by card in there which is an advantage. They are pretty quick in their preparation and the staff is very nice. If you want adjustments in your pho they will always do it for you :)Most of the time during lunch there is a queue in there, which indicates that their food is good enough to wait a moment :) I definitely recommend, even for someone who doesn't like the Asian kitchen.

Come here at least once a month and rate it highly. Always fills me up and they are not stingy at all.

This stall in market walk makes superb authentic Vietnamese street food. It's got (outdoor) tables if you want stay and eat. I had the beef & rice today and it was divine. I will be back for more sometime soon! Great for lunch.

From the 'hole in the wall' venue to the simple menu of Vietnamese staples, this is a little snippet of Hanoi in Woking. For anyone who has been to Vietnam, the food here will bring back delightful gustatory memories! The beef pho is fantastic with a well-prepared broth that has that wonderful deep umami taste. The owners clearly take pride in their trade - the place is clean, tidy and run with efficiency. It is eating and cooking culture like this that gives Asia it's amazing street food - if only more like Bet Viet were found outside of city hubs.

Don't let the location/format fool you the food is fantastic, made with love the same day. Much better than many fancier restaurants. A great quick place to eat.

I love this place, it's so nice to have a quick, reasonably priced, healthy meal for lunch. I have tried a number of things on the menu and have been more than pleased each time. Also great for a takeaway if you need to get home. Well packaged and suitable for transporting. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and I'm always keen to give them my custom.

In a strip of food stalls in a newly covered over lane in Woking, Bep Viet sensibly sells English breakfast goodies in the morning and then Vietnamese food for lunch.I've only had the Beef Pho but for £5.50 it was a big satisfying bowl of tasty slithery noodles with plenty of beef, vegetables and the right amount of broth to slurp at the end,What's not to like?

Tasty Hanoi grilled chicken - can be a bit inconsistent in the make up and often you feel there is a lot if 'filler' like lettuce in the Co'm. However, a tasty alternative for lunch.

I could be biased in this review of Bep Viet's food having had Vietnamese food from London (esp Kingsland Road area in London), in Charlotte (North Carolina, USA) and during my student days in Melbourne (Australia) where there are significant Vietnamese communities. In the bigger scheme of things, the food served here -- the beef noodle soup (pho), spring rolls and others seem bland and uninspiring. The prices are only marginally cheaper than in London Kingsland Road, so you would expect it to at least be on par but unfortunately not. Don't get me wrong- I am glad there is Vietnamese food in Woking but I wish it was more authentic and on par with other places.

I am a regular for the past 11 months. Love their Hanoi chicken and chicken steamed bun. I am proud to enjoy my healthy food during lunch break at work.

I love this place for lunch and is perfect for Woking. If I'm wanting something healthy it's great. I've had lost of the menu here and love it all.

Really good food and tastes very authentic.....so much so I thought I was back in Vietnam. Owners very friendly and helpful and always happy to explain dishes....

Had drunken pork at Bep Viet. Loved it - as good as anything you'd get in Hanoi. Was a little surprised at the fried rice paper roll, but I suppose it is the UK!

Popped in here for lunch, I have walked past and it's always busy and thought we would give it a go. I have a pork and rice dish which was very tasty and my wide have the chicken pho. Good value and friendly staff.

I visited Bep Viet twice this week - first by myself, and then with three others, two of whom were vegetarians. Everyone loved it! The chicken pho is really tasty (very liberal on the noodles, less liberal on the chicken, amazing broth), as is the grilled chicken bun (the Vietnamese dish, not a bread roll). Unfortunatly there is not vegetarian pho, which is a real shame, but the tofu and mushroom bun is delicious! The veg spring roll bun is also great, and they are very generous with the spring rolls, though I'm not too sure the giant spring rolls really go with the rest of the dish. Regardless, quick and friendly food, a fair price, and great tasting food. Definitely worth trying for a bit of a different lunch!

Delicious food but less MSG/enhancers used would be great and allow me to visit more.Could do with a bigger menu! Love the Pho and the Beef Baguette! Very friendly staff. A bit overpriced.

We were told about this place which is in the new market area of the town. We tried it at lunchtime and were very impressed with the food and service provided by the person working there. I think the food is as close as you can get to authentic Vietnamese food in the UK with excellent taste and good size portions. I would definitely recommend trying here when in Woking.

I've been here a few times and I will keep coming back. I always have their Pho, and at £5 it's an extremely delicious, very cheap meal that's so quick! And so healthy!Their homemade stock is delicious! Ask for the bbq chicken when you go - you can't go wrong!

The most authentic and delicious Vietnamese food I've had in Surrey. Great Pho and the drunken pork is amazing. The owners are lovely also. I eat here all the time, I love it.

This place is an absolute find and a real bonus for Woking. You can eat at the tables there, as I did, or take away. Authentic Vietnamese food, and lovely friendly proprietors who will usually give you a quick taste of whatever's cooking. The Drunken Pork is especially delicious. Excellent value and very quick if you're looking for something to take back to the office at lunch.
