Benugo - Cannon Street in City of London, Westminster

Esta tienda está a la vuelta de la esquina de mi oficina. En las últimas 4 veces que estuve allí durante más de un mes, me dieron un pedido incorrecto. ¡La última vez, pedí un té y tomé un café! Sorprendente atención al detalle.

Decidimos tomar un cambio para nuestro café habitual y probar benugo ya que las fotos y la información en línea se veían bien. La cafetería estaba casi vacía, pero a pesar de estar a unos 3 pasos del mostrador, el café seguía cayendo sobre el mostrador y gritaba para recoger. No había ningún ambiente en absoluto. Sentado debajo de las escaleras, un miembro del personal dejó caer algo de un plato en el camino que cayó sobre nuestra mesa, lo que hubiera estado bien si se hubiera abordado. Hacía mucho frío porque el personal entraba y salía con las entregas y dejaba la puerta en la zona de atrás completamente abierta, por lo que había una corriente de congelación constantemente en nuestra mesa. El café estaba bien calidad pero en general no volveré.

Aparecí en mi hora de almuerzo con un colega y me sorprendió el costo de los bocadillos y las bebidas. Había un montón de opciones, pero me fui a la cálida envoltura de dedo de pescado. Era una envoltura muy básica, un poco de lechuga tirada que era de color marrón y estaba muy seca. Literalmente dos pequeños dedos de pescado. Completo desperdicio de dinero porque no me comí el mío. Definitivamente no vale la pena el precio áspero. Hay mucho más para comer en esta área por menos.

Entré aquí hoy para tomar un sándwich rápido y lo encontré confuso ya que ninguna de las envolturas estaba etiquetada. . . Poco a poco si tienes alergias a los alimentos. Cuando fui a pagar me cobraron más por un ajuste diferente y cuando lo consulté, el servidor dijo que era correcto. ¡Después de pagar volví al mostrador con mi recibo que mostraba una envoltura diferente! Entonces me dieron una cantidad al azar de reembolso en cambio! ! El sándwich era normal y tenía un poco de pollo viscoso acuoso en él. . No faltan opciones en Londres, así que la próxima vez iré a otro lugar.

Great consistent experience there on a regular basis. They have now introduced a new menu for breakfast eat in or takeaways and is absolutely great! Would highly recommend. Keep it up!!

My favourite place for breakfast every morning. Wide range of food items available. The best freshly baked bread with fresh meat including sausages and ham among other things. Probably best known for its coffee but the food is great. Highly recommended

My first visit to any Benugo but I felt it was disappointing overall. The service staff were pleasant and the coffee was lovely, but the sandwich I chose - a New Yorker, priced at £5.15 lacked any generosity of filling. The menu board description sounded lovely but the reality didn't match up. Prêt sandwiches, though not cheap, beat this one easily for flavour and content. The restaurant was quiet and with value like this it will get quieter still. There's a lot of competition and Benugo will have to review their 'offering' if this selection is typical.

There is a Benugo in my building so I was happy to see this one when I was out and about. Needed breakfast and was in a hurry. No queue but took ages to create my order and pay. Was surprised to see that everything was cold and then heated up as in my building everything is hot already. Waited ages for it to heat up but when I got to the table it was still cold in the middle. It was put in the microwave and of course it got frazzled. Ended up being not very pleasant so ate some and binned the rest. No time to argue as was busy and late. All a bit yuck.

Good layout. Cool fittings. Very good coffee and food. Take your time and enjoy.. recommend you try it....

I was impressed that our coffee cups were carried to a table by the restaraunt manager(60 Cannon st) . It felt like the staff were running this branch like it was their business - Benugo is a chain so it's a good trick to pull off. If I had a qualm it was that there was no low cost filter option( or a tea urn!). Prets 99p filter is a winner! Nice experience- will go again

Goed voor een lekkere koffie, een croissant of een snel ontbijt alvorens ter plaatse te drinken/eten of mee te nemen.

I've been here several times for their warm wraps and sandwiches. They also have a great variety of salads and we have used Benugo's catering for staff lunches. The service is usually good and they have a nice seating area.

Have visited a few times and sampled both the salads and sandwiches. Across the board the food is of a decent quality and reasonably priced. Most options taste great too. Only snag, on the salads at least, are that they can often be very light on the protein. A couple of times when opening up a 'chicken or salmon' salad box there have been literally 2 pieces of meat which for 5-7 pounds is not great.

Really lovely atmosphere with friendly polite staff and good coffee! If I'm using Cannon Street, it's the first stop before the office.

Staff are unhelpful, cannot speak English. Food is tasteless. Hygiene is poor. Tables are dirty. Bathroom too. Chairs are uncomfortable. If there was a zero star review, I would have put that.

Buen servicio y excelente café sirve aquí. Un precio razonable para la ciudad (un americano es de £2.30) y la comida es buena. Sándwiches recién hechos y panecillos, aunque son caros (4 libras cada uno), además de un personal amable y buena ubicación.

Better than the chains (Starbucks, Costa, Cafe Nero etc) so worth the extra 5 mins walk for morning coffee than hitting one of those outlets.

Working in London often I use the facilities of pret, however was urged to try Benugo by colleagues.Very impressed with the choice on offer, fresh muffins and cakes, a fabulous array of salads and sandwiches as well as hot wraps, soups and toasted sandwiches.A good choice of coffee and herbal teas or cold drinks too.Plenty to wet the appetite for lunch or breakfast.

Really pleased to say that on this visit cakes were both fresh and also very good. As I walk with a stick holding a tray is difficult but I did not even have to ask for help.

My new office is across the road from here and was told by colleague's to try here for for lunch. I was on my way back to Cheshire so wanted lunch to take out for the train journey home.I had a chicken and avocado sandwich and a fresh fruit pot. I was impressed, nice healthy lunch on the go.I will visit again and get a sandwich made up as they all looked fab too but did not have time to wait. Also their salads look amazing.Everyone should try Herr, lots on offer, crash cakes, sandwiches, fruit pots, yogurts etc.They do their own coffees and hot drinks which I am told are good. I don't like tea and coffee so can only go on what my friends say.You can eat in and the restaurant looks good to with a great atmosphere.

We popped in to buy a quick lunch. Both items ended up in a bin. The Chelsea bun was dry and tasteless; the salmon wrap did not have any moisture and was horrid to eat. I do not usually give bad reviews but this was a complete waste of money. I have contacted the store direct with these issues. We did note the 'made to order' meals which may be their forte.

Working in Cannon Street and needed somewhere for breakfast. The look from outside is very inviting, the choice of breakfast rolls is excellent, and all heated to order. I had a bacon and scrambled egg roll and it was delicious. Their coffee is top quality, piping hot and there is a vast array of pastries to go with it. The seating area behind the counters is a bit basic, but more than adequate - I'll be back!

Average price and cool ambiance to relax. Their sandwiches and coffee are really good. i like an early morning bacon and egg bap and a latte from Benugo.

Just saw the previous two reviews which aren't exactly gushing! Just wanted a quick coffee and a decent nibble and got both. Coffee good and the custard tart also. Large seating area at back and plenty of plug sockets!

Good cup of coffee, I have been here and had a consistently good coffee to drink in.Food looks good, however the Chelsea buns can either be good and fresh or on two occasions as hard as rocks - stale.

Just been here to pick up some breakfast and a coffee as have passed the shop loads of times and always fancied trying it. How disappointed I was. The place looks lovely but the coffee was weak and the sausage muffin came with just one small sausage (sliced very thinly!!!) Couldn't believe it when I got back to my desk. Agree therefore with the other comments about this chain and won't be going there again unless somebody from Benugo responds to this post telling me it was a mistake? One sausage...shocking behaviour...
