Bento Bab in Barnet

Went after work. The food was delicious but the portions were not the biggest. Had a kimchi pancake which while nice was not what I was expecting, something like a pancake. Service was okay. Prices were a tad expensive.

I love Korean food and was kind of bummed when the meal did not come with kimchee. Had the bento meal and had just the rice, meat, salad and something else. Still a good meal.

This review is to highlight ANDREW’s amazing help during our night out at Bento Bab. He was attentive and always ready to help even in the busiest of times. I have truly made a friend in the store and would like everyone to ask for ANDREW when next visiting and I can ensure you will have a 10/10 experience. Food was 10/10 I have been with different groups and has never let me down

Delicious. Delicious. The staff are amazing. We had the BBQ and the staff cooked it all in front of us perfectly. We ordered a little too much but no regrets. Definitely worth it.

My son and I visited Bento Bab for lunch last Friday, as he walks past it quite often, and thought it looked nice. I've always liked Korean food, even though I can't cope with really hot stuff. I thought the decor was really pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Personally, I don't really like ordering via QR codes, but the staff actually very helpfully, then brought a paper menu as well. We did manage to order via the phone, though! All the food was served promptly, and it was all absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, and I even had a dessert, which was beautifully presented, as I had deliberately chosen a not too big, main course. We also enjoyed our drinks: There was a very interesting selection of Korean, soft drinks and beers. The bill was a tiny bit more expensive than I was expecting, but the quality was so excellent, I didn't mind that. I would certainly like to return with a larger group, so we could try more dishes.

Erg lekker en leuk restaurant met heel vriendelijk personeel dat ook echt aandacht voor je heeft. We hadden de Kimbab met Tuna en kip dumblings en de Soy star fried Yaki Udon met BBQ beef. Erg lekker allemaal.

My husband and I love this place and we usually try to go at least one a month. I not going to tell you why we love it, but go there and try it yourself. You will be in a proper Korean restaurant/street food experience.

Found it by accident as I was meeting a friend in the area. Loved the food, everything was fresh, was a bit crowded but that's always a good sign.

First time trying Korean bbq and it was amazing! The staff literally gave me a five star experience. The customer service is no joke here, they are so welcoming and lovely. There was a staff member treating us soo good the entire time, making jokes with us, explaining each dish to us, come to find out this was the manager Noa! We got a warm welcome from Rads and she was my favourite! She was soo helpful and made our experience 10x better. Never met a waitress like Rads! She was so happy and friendly towards everyone there. I enjoyed the food and if you get the bbq sharing platters it is FILLING. It’s £85 but it could feed a group of 3-4 depending on how much each person can eat. You get a variety of dishes which is good if you want to try different things. The beef and kfc chicken was my favourite and their onion sauce. I would definitely go again and recommend this restaurant.

Went to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. The food was really tasty and very filling (ended up boxing dum up to bring home). We had a set barbecue menu for 4. Good value for money. The service was amazing. We weren’t left waiting and used plates were cleared away swiftly and replaced. We had no idea how to prepare the barbecue meats, or even how correctly wrap and eat the food, so the lovely staff took time out to give us a great Korean experience. Thank you so much for making it such a special experience

Me encontré con esta pequeña joya en una excursión con amigos. Nuestro camarero fue realmente servicial y amable, explicando cómo ordenar. Teníamos el pollo frito (sal y pimienta y chile dulce) que el servidor nos dio un chapuzón de soja / ajo para acompañarlo, estaba delicioso. También comimos Kimchi Chips, que era increíble y panqueques de Kimchi, que también estaban deliciosos. Una gran sorpresa cuando llegó la factura, ¡obtuvimos el descuento de 'ayuda para comer fuera'! La comida era excelente, pero puede ser difícil elegir del menú. El piso estaba grasiento y resbaladizo en el restaurante. Los baños estaban limpios, pero las escaleras que bajaban también se sentían resbaladizas. Fui hoy con una fiesta de 8 personas y la tarjeta de fidelización es una broma, ya que termina el 31 de diciembre de 2019 y no pudieron entender mi problema con eso. Volvería otra vez por la comida, pero solo si estuviera pasando.

Called in to kill and hour before my Jack the Ripper Tour.Quite busy at 6pm on a Monday night I ordered the fish pancakes and 6 pieces of Korean fried chicken along with a bottle of ‘hite’ lager. All well presented service was excellent timing and great value for money. Portions aren’t massive but that’s relative to how greedy you are, I really enjoyed it and will be back.

This was my 3rd and last visit here. This time, upon ordering the same dish, chicken katsu curry - I was given a different meal and told that's what I ordered and that it couldn't be changed. If there are two meals that a customer could be asking for, why would the server not clarify what meal is being ordered? Unfortunately, the server's English was poor so this could be the issue. The staff preparing the meals were overloaded with orders so did not really care. There was no offer of a refund, just accusations that I was in the wrong. Will not be visiting again and do not recommend.

Ganz zufällig rein gegangen, da es gegenüber unseres Hotels lag (Ibis). Wer koreanischen essen liebt und Hunger hat ist hier richtig. Allerdings. Scharf!! Muss man mögen. Vielleicht kann man es auch nicht so scharf bestellen. Das Personal ist sehr bedacht auf Allergien und Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten. Preise absolut unschlagbar für gutes essen in London. Nur zu empfehlen. Bilder hier: Bibimbap mit Sweet chili chicken (ca. 7£) und Ramen mit sweet chili chicken (8,40 £) und man wird gut satt.

Very good value for the portion sizes and quality of food that you receive. The Korean coffee was very good as was the chicken katsu curry. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was when I asked for a water they poured it into my empty coffee glass rather than getting me a new one. Other than that I’d highly recommend!

We found this place by accident. It was located near our hotel. The welcome was friendly and the service was great. The food was tasty and filling as Korean food always is. We would definitely recommend this place and we will eat there again for sure.

Mientras visitábamos Londres por una semana, encontramos este pintoresco y pequeño restaurante coreano. Mi esposa en Corea y yo, que hemos vivido en Corea durante dos años, hemos tenido nuestra parte de comida coreana. Comimos aquí dos veces durante nuestra estancia una noche que nos llevamos la otra noche cenamos. Cada vez que pedíamos el pollo frito coreano comprando el combo que venía con chili y alitas de ajo y soja. Estas eran como las alas que podíamos conseguir en Seúl. También vinieron con cerveza Cloud, pero también tenían diferentes tipos de cerveza coreana, incluido el soju. El personal fue muy amable y atento a nuestras necesidades, lo hice una experiencia culinaria agradable. Si eres un fanático de chimac, este es el lugar para ti. Todo lo que puedo decir es que estaba delicioso.

There are a few vegetarian options available for each of the main dish types, and I ordered the tofu and kimchi bun with fries. I absolutely loved the bun, it was so soft with a lovely light fluffy texture. There was so much sauce with the bun, it had started to disintegrate within 5 minutes. There was more kimchi filling that anything else, including the tofu, which turned out to be few strips of fried tofu.

Nice Service, excellent food. We ate sweet chili chicken bento, it was nicely spicy, not too much. We recommend the place.

Had the fried chicken meal with fries and ordered a second portion of fries. The chicken was fresh, well seasoned and crispy as fried chicken should be and tasted great. The fries were also fresh but had a little too much sauce on it.

Some of the food here is delicious, but they have a horrid habit of including mayonnaise in many of the dishes despite not listing it on the menu. On more than one occasion I, and a colleague have both ordered food and had to throw it away because of there being unlisted mayo in it. This is basic, basic, stuff. How can a restaurant be this careless, when the rest of their food/decor/experience is so good?

This is a cheap eat and good value for money. Decor isn't great, music is too loud but food is okay and service was fine. Biggest problem was the smell of the restaurant (cooking oil and spices) got into my clothes and three days later it's still there. I'm going to have to wash them all, including my coat.

This is a nice little find, unassuming from the exterior. The food is very tasty and the options on each meal very good - selecting between glass noodles or sticky rice for example. The Kim Chi on the side is delicious!

We ate at this place twice during a 3 day trip to London because the food was so good. During our visits we had the Korean burgers (awesome), sweet chili chicken Bibim (delicious with just the right amount of heat) and the Sweet chili chicken ramen (just okl). Overall, we enjoyed our meals and would go back again. However, service was a little lacking. After being seated, each time we waited 10 - 15 minutes for the waitress to come back to take our order but she never did, even though there were only 1 or 2 other tables with people. Each time we had to go to the counter and request that she come take our order. Beyond that, the place is very small, so seating is limited. Still, the food makes up for the other shortcomings and we would go back.

Très bonne cuisine coréenne. Les serveurs sont très agréables et l’ambiance y est chaleureuse. On y mange très bien, en grande quantité et pour pas très cher, ce qui est rare à Londres.

Went for a very late lunch and ordered the black pepper KFC and soy garlic chicken bento box not realized it was KFC in the bento box too. Was hoping to pay a premium to add BBQ beef to the bento box but that wasn’t an option. They had sold out of noodles so I was stuck with rice.

As someone that has a weakness for Korean food, this has fast become one of my favourite spots to get lunch when I'm at work. I love there Bento box with chilli chicken. Served in well presented box. Great KFC (Not the colonel). Yum!

He estado en Bento Bab en muchas ocasiones ya que nuestra oficina está cerca, y siempre es un gran almuerzo. Recientemente redujeron sus precios a la hora del almuerzo, lo que es genial, obtienes mucha comida por tu dinero. El bibimbap de pollo dulce de chile es particularmente bueno, se lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

As the title suggests, the Korean food here is the finest I have tasted.. Would recommend ...Kimchi Chips, Korean Fried Chicken with soy and garlic, the Korean 🍔 with combo... Really good portions of quality food at a reasonable price. 😋

This place has a wide variety of Korean food on offer including kimbab (rice rolls with various ingredients), bibimbap (rice dish with savoury meat and vegetables), Korean burgers, x-ramen (Koresn noodles with a twist) and other snacks. Prices are reasonable and the staff speak good English. Highly recommend this place if you want to eat healthy and try out Korean cuisine at the same time.

Esto es efectivamente una tienda para llevar literalmente entre varias coreano encajonado lugares sandwich catering para el área local. Yo trabajo a la vuelta de la esquina, y vengo aquí una vez a la semana. El personal es amable, y para un lugar minúsculo, hay una gran variedad de opciones de comida.

Nos pasó de encontrar este lugar y decidimos probar por primera vez. Todo lo que probamos estaba muy fresca y deliciosa en la parte superior, todo es tan barato! ! ! El personal es realmente encantador y agradable. El Amigo coreano de pollo que pedimos era de tamaño mediano, pero que podrían alimentar a 4 personas fácilmente. Usted puede elegir la salsa y la mitad y mitad de diferentes sabores. Fuimos a chili dulce (ñam ñam! Salsa de ajo) y soya (Yum Yum! ). Sirven el pollo con ensalada fresca. También su Kimbap (tipo roll sushi manivela) era excelente. Llegamos y pedimos Bibimbap también codiciosos, pero era demasiado para una comida. Por supuesto que nunca voy a perder esta deliciosa comida y se come las sobras para la cena. Nos alegramos de encontrar este lugar y seguramente va a ser nuestro lugar de parada.

Estábamos por la zona (en el Wilton's) y salimos en busca de comida, nada nos llamaba la atención hasta que vimos este pequeño local. Probamos varias cosas, lo que pedimos más unas muestras que nos ofrecieron gratis allí (son súper amables!!)

As a foody I always love to try new things but I know that most of the restaurants or take aways are not prepared with fresh ingredients and that's what makes them weak . Part from my Gastronomy Passion I'm a student in a sport school where we learn a lot about food and how to eat healthy . Well that's where's my Experience begins ;One day I forgot to take my daily meal with me and after 4hrs practice I was keen to have some nice and energy full food . Well in Golders Green there is at least 4 places where I could jump in to have a nicely meal but I didn't want to spend more then £10 and wait for like 20min for my food so I decided to look around a bit and find the right place to eat . There is a Japanese shop just opposite of the Station but unfortunately part from the flyers on the window and on the display cabinet there was nothing really which made my hungry stomach excited ! Far as I remembered there is a small take away in the Korean shop where I'm usually going to buy 'guksu jangguk' noodles with a hot clear broth - Delicious so highly recommended ! I decided that before I force to myself to jump in to a Restaurant I'll give it a try .When I stepped into the shop the Chef was welcoming me like he knew me long time ago which helped me to get comfortable and be more open for all the choices he can offer ! We all know the feeling when we going to a restaurant with a huge excitement and somehow is just doesn't feel right ! it's because the stuff is so rude that your appetite is literally disappear or because your food half cooked and seems like nobody give a damn about it . So Yeeee in that case for me that was a Big Like for the start from a Take Away shop ! The display is amazing , made me so hungry that I could eat everything from the menu ! I was trying not to be a fussy as usual but because of my diet I'm always think twice to make sure there's nothing funny in my food ! So during the Chef was cooking my fresh BIBIMBAP he was incredible nice and open to share his story with me . After I got home and started to eat my food I still felt that nice comfortable atmosphere what that little take away shop gave me for the road . My BIBIMBAP was amazing and I got a Miso Soup as well which was a perfect ending !All'n all I found my new regular Take Away/Restaurant in Golders Green ! Healthy , Fresh , Delicious , Cheap , and an Amazing Costumer Service !What else you ever need when your Hungry ?
