Great food, freshly prepared and well presented. Excellent, friendly service.

Have been before and never had any problems with food when asked if everything is OK and saying it was lovely but there was very little on my plate one member of staff took offense , an porceeded to make a sarcastic comment when walking past our table . With asking the table behind was everything OK and they said yes she replied with I'm pleased we fed you well . Also put another member of staff to serve us for the rest of our time there . If your asked if your food was OK are you ment to just say yes every time even if your not overly happy . Can't say it's made us want to go back after that . Which is a shame cos we've really enjoyed the past meals we've had there .

We always visit Benny's for a Full English breakfast, whenever we're in the area. Never changes, consistently great food, and plenty of it! I seriously recommend a visit. ( there are plenty of lunch time options also, it's not just breakfasts!)

Highly recommend, we was passing through and ordered a takeaway order, the food was ready in 15mins and tasted awesome, friendly staff too, we had burgers, lasagna and kids meals..look forward to next time when we have time to eat in, as the diner inside looked great 👍🏻

I loved going in Benny's for a nice treat but last few times not good service don't ask if everything is ok had to go to desk ask for another cup t no yolk in eggs won't be coming no more not the same quite rude

Have driven past it quite a lot and thought I’d stop in to support a local business instead of the usual McDonalds and Starbucks along the A47. Sat ignored for 10 minutes so walked out, typical of these places. Menu was typical English standard scran dressed up in an American style “diner” …. What’s the point.

Food and service good but the Atmosphere is terrible by staff if you turn up At 6.30 pm just before the closing time at 7.00pm🤷‍♂️

Had lunch today, steak and eggs and steak and ale pie, peas, mash and gravy, seriously enjoyed by all. Service was excellent and prompt, seated straight away, after we had ordered, very short wait for our meals, we definitely be eating here again in the future

Quite a long wait, options unavailable, couldn't eat the salad because they put a dressing on without asking and no compensation given. Burger was lovely.

Excellent diner with a menu that caters for big appetites. All day breakfasts are great but special mention for the scrambled eggs which are outstanding. Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. Staff are busy and attentive. Facilities are immaculate. Great place to stop for lunch or anytime.

The American Diner atmosphere was lovely. I am afraid that the sea food Chowder and Fish cake did not have any sea food flavour

Dont know if Benny's has changed hands seems different to when when have visited before. Food was good.

This is the best diner in the UK, set in a lovely part of the country, not expensive for the quality of the food and service. Menu covers all food types, this is our second visit from Leicestershire and won't be the last.

Very disappointing, I have driven past a few times and yesterday decided to finally try this alleged american diner. I entered and observed the "wait here to be seated" sign. I was soon handed a menu and told to seat myself (no big deal), I then read the menu, not overly american in my book but again, no big deal as I was vey thirsty and hungry from my travels. I then began my wait to place an order... And waited ... And waited... A pair of gentlemen came in after me and had their order taken almost straight aeay, which frustrated me. I kept looking over at the three staff chatting and eventually a young man broke away from the group 'this is it, I might finally get to order' I thought to myself! But no, sadly I remained unserved, easily fifteen minutes into my visit. So I simply got up and left, very disappointing

This was our third visit and it’s now a bit of a family tradition on the long journey to visit family in Norfolk. The staff are so inviting and interacted with my toddler in such a lovely way. They did the same when she was only 10 months old. They may not remember but we do. The menu is varied and the portions are massive. I love that the kitchen is open you so you can see the delicious food being prepared in a spotless professional kitchen. The diner is charming and the staff couldn’t have done any more to accommodate us as a family. It was getting quite busy but they make it look easy and the service was great. I look forward to coming back on the next trip and we recommend Benny’s Diner to other family members who pass by on the journey. Tasty fresh food, exceptional value for money and a real treat. Spotlessly clean and full of traditional diner charm with a very friendly atmosphere. 10/10 every time.

Had a stop over at the Travelodge nearby. Headed over to Benny’s Diner for breakfast not expecting much other than a greasy spoon cafe. How wrong I was. They were dog friendly, had fabulous decor and attention to detail, really polite and attentive staff and the food was absolutely spot on. Only ordered a couple of slices of toast and sausages and it was better than some high end restaurants that I’ve been to. Very impressed. And they offered a bowl of water for our dog and her own chopped up sausage .

Stopped off here on our way home from holiday. The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Top marks to the chef. Will definitely be back when we go away next June.

To be fair, it was a pit stop, so it was hard to give it a full review. But we loved the American dinner theme. Welcome was warm and friendly and service fast. It is on my list of places to visit when travelling.

Called in on route to our holiday destination. Wasn't expecting too much but we were pleasantly surprised, it was amazing. The food was fresh and in large quantities. Dog friendly, the waitress catered for our dog as if he was a child. Thank you, we'll call on our return home trip.

We are here whilst on a stopover at the Travelodge next door. The food was delicious, the diner was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful.

By chance we drove past. From the outside it didn't look too special so I checked out other reviews and then decided to go in. So glad we did. Inside was a real 80's dinner with classic black red and white decor. Middle of the day so that's why the atmosphere rating is lower. The waitress was really friendly and polite. The food wait wasn't too long. The food was so very tasty, chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Without being greasy. Perfect skinny fries. I was amazed at the hot dog in the dish. It said smothered in cheese on the menu and it certainly proved to be. Chilli was tasty and not too spicy. Really tasty once in an while treat. Hubby said the fish was crispy and perfectly cooked, and enjoyed the chips as much. Definitely try this place out.

Me and my mates stayed in the Travel Lodge opposite and went here for dinner and then breakfast. Great food and friendly staff.

Having lived in Holbeach since 2017 I’ve often wondered this eatery was like, my mate often mentioned that he’d like to visit, so I thought I’d treat him. We both had cod and chips Claims’s to be line caught cod, no way of proving or disproving that claim and certainly doesn’t taste any different. Have yet to see anyone sitting on the dock of the bay, line fishing for cod…. Which brings me on to this so called Americano themed restaurant, there’s nothing I could see remotely American here.. ok so there’s a few American car number plates on the wall but there just reproductions… I have frogs in my garden but it doesn’t mean I live in a French chateau. Many of the tables were uneven and were rocking so maybe the rocking was the American theme. So we both settled for cod and chips… no peas mushy or otherwise, chips were frozen chips, fish I’m guessing was frozen too, so any claims to freshly caught has long gone out the window. A mug of hot chocolate and a mug of tea also ordered…. Ooops the waitress spilled the entire contents of the tea over the table. Ok it was an accident and no one was burnt, but that was just luck.. the bill came to £33 for what it was this was an excessive price, we had exactly the same in Sainsbury’s only last week with peas for £6.95 each plus £2 for a mug of tea. I don’t mind paying over the odds for food but it has to be, value for money and something special. It simply wasn’t. I was expecting a small discount considering the mess with the tea, but nothing. No way was I going to offer a tip. The only thing I found positive about the place was the A16 outside and I couldn’t wait to get on it back home…..

We called in here as a mid stop on our journey to Great Yarmouth. We enjoyed the full English breakfast, which was served piping hot and cooked well. The booth seating arrangement gives you that settling dining experience without anyone trying to nudge past you. If we were on that journey again, yes, we would stop over again for some menu choice.

Gem of a place. Stopover for lunch en route to Norfolk coast. Great home cooking, top service and relaxed comfy surroundings. Pie and mash top notch.

Stopped for breakfast and had full English and scrambled egg with smoked salmon muffin. Service was quick and the food was hot, fresh and a large portion. Good quality coffee too. Dog friendly which is really nice to see. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Been here for half and hour and still not eating. It took 15 minutes for anyone to take our order and people who ordered 10 minutes before us have got there food yet.

Fantastic little place! We arrived with a party of 10 with no warning but the staff managed to accommodate us despite three restaurant being busy. We were seated quickly and orders taken promptly. The menu is quite extensive with some interesting options. I went for the "Fat Elvis" burger which was certainly an experience. Portion sizes were generous and the quality of the food was truly excellent. Good vegetarian options.

Didn't eat there service too slow. To be fair we didn't have a lot of time but were suprised that the 6 people before us hadn't been served either and they had been there before is we couldn't wait.

Had a lovely big breakfast, the bacon was done just right. Running eggs and sausage were just plain pork, but tasted very good. 3 adult breakfast 2 tea's 2 apple juices and 1 soft drink for £50. Good value with the size of the breakfast

Looking at reviews which prompted my visit, I have to say was very disappointed with the Food , My Rump steak came in 2 pieces, 1 was just about edible, the other piece was impossible to digest, my Daughters Steak Sandwich was pieces of trimmed Steak and just as indegestible , the fries were good maybe if had something different to Steak may have been better , The Staff were friendly sadly didn't enjoy.

We stumbled across Bennys Diner on our way to Norfolk and decided to call in for food and drinks to break up our journey. We had our dog with us and found this diner to be really dog friendly. The lady that served us brought out a bowl of water and a sausage cut into pieces for our dog and we ordered two of the Big Bennys breakfasts, one tea and a strawberry milkshake. The quality of the food was excellent, we both commented how fresh everything was and we both enjoyed the bacon the most. Our drinks were spot on too! My husband loved the ice cream in the milkshake. The staff were lovely and quite attentive but not too much. I am sure that we will stop off here the next time that we are travelling to Norfolk.

I don't normally post reviews of cafes or restaurants, I do understand the enormous pressure they must be experiencing, but when they do a job well it should be noticed. Benny's looks like a former Little Chef establishment but it has been redecorated and styled afresh and the toilets renewed. Our food was served promptly and courteously. It was simple and good, reasonably priced. Checkout was again polite and efficient although the cafe was busy. Well done to the team. The only downside; the car park was full and difficult to access.

I remember when Penny's first ed opened up the food was great, the atmosphere was buzzing, but now, not after going for a few years, it's gone downhill. The food is nothing to write home about. The quality of food has gone downhill. I ordered a full English. I got my toast, and by the time my full English was actually ready to be brought out to me, my toast was cold. My partner had a cheese burger, parts of the burger were still raw, and It came with mayo on the burger. Certainly, I will not be going back here, nor will I be recommending.

I've sat here many times while my wife and daughter visit her parents/grandparents. I've often looked at Benny's Diner. A couple of times it's been closed, so today, on Father's Day, I thought I would treat myself to some lunch. I'm so glad I did! The food was amazing, piping hot and delicious, as was the service. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. The burger and chips were just like Five Guys, if not better, in my opinion.

Superb. Had lunch on our way south for a mini holiday, excellent burgers. Great chips. Big portions. A truly generous lunch, both in quality and quantity. So good that we planned our trip home to have a later breakfast there too. Breakfasts are stunning....top quality ingredients and really big portions. And lovely staff too.

stopped off on way home from house hunting in lincs. got in there, very friendly staff, looked at the menu, it was indentical to the marine pub in hunstanton including everything microwaved! sorry for the staff but the next time driving through we found a burger king, bland but reliably bland!
